The end of the school year brings lots of joy to students but also raises issues of summer safety and preparation for the next school year.
The Pediatric Group would like to remind you and your family that simple precautions could be taken to prevent serious injuries on bicycles and skateboards as well as in and around pools and playgrounds. Remember that sunscreen is an important way to prevent significant burns and long-term sun damage.
Now is a good time to make sure all children are up to date on their annual physical exams, whether they will be starting school, participating in sports, or heading out to college. Please remember to give yourself plenty of time in advance when booking checkup appointments. Due to the high volume of school forms we receive, we require 3 days to return forms and the fee is $10. If you need your form within 24 hours, there will be a $25 fee.
