Back to School for Team Gravino, Too!!

We packed our pens, paper and bathing suits and headed to the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida for a great team learning opportunity on the "Team Approach to Occlusion and TMD" presented by Dr. Herb Blumenthal, Mary Osborne and Dr. Jamie Sledd.  Besides receiving a thorough analysis of how our muscles work from head to toe and how our bite affects our posture, head and neck muscles, we had hands on experiences completing exams and learning how we can serve our patients even better!  We did get to enjoy the Florida sunshine, too!

Welcome Rebecca! With 17 years of dental hygiene experience, Rebecca joined our team in July and will be available two days a week.  Rebecca will soon be featured on our website.

*We are sad to say Goodbye to Angela...we're sure she'll be great in her new full-time opportunity.

It's alway a good time for continuing education...Kate and Rebecca attended a seminar by Sheri Kay, our practice coach, to learn more about the hygienist's role in assisting patients in obtaining optimal oral health.  Although patients may say that "she cleans my teeth", that is only a small part of their roles in the world of dentistry.  Their responsibility is to enhance the comprehensive approach to your care by reviewing and noticing changes in your oral health; and to help you explore, understand and embrace your choices and long term oral health goals.  Kate and Rebecca are your advocates for creating your beautiful, confident smile!


Dr. Nick and Course Participants Even More Excited about Invisalign..

 

 Dr. Nick attended an Advanced Training Course at the Pankey Institute for "Utilizing Invisalign to Enhance Restorative Outcomes".  The learning involved the opportunity to work with the Align head technicians and gain more advanced understanding of incorporating invisalign treatment into your  comprehensive restorative treatment plan.
