INTRODUCING SKINPEN® MICRONEEDLING (NOW WITH PRP)!Dr. Greco's practice is happy to announce a microneedling treatment option called SkinPen Precision System by Bellus Medical. Acne scarring has met its match! The SkinPen houses 14 micro-needles that create thousands of small punctures to your skin's outer layer, and rejuvenates over time to help the appearance of facial acne scarring, pigmentation, fine lines, and enhance the results of fillers/botox. What is microneedling? Microneedling is also known as collagen induction therapy, because the miniature punctures created by the device trigger natural collagen and elastin production to create healthy, elastic, and well-functioning skin. One microneedling treatment typically takes 45-60 minutes. How do I know if I am a candidate? The SkinPen device is designed for people of all skin complexities and ethnic backgrounds. Microneedling can brighten dark pigmentation, soften fine lines and wrinkles, and reduction of acne/surgical scarring. We offer treatment packages for those who may need multiple treatments.
How does SkinPen differ from other microneedling treatments? SkinPen can also include PLATELET-RICH PLASMA (PRP) to help speed the recovery process along and create a tighter, smoother face. Can I get Botox or fillers along with microneedling in one session? Yes! Because other skincare procedures that use light or laser technology, neuromodulators and fillers may melt or leave their intended location on the face.
