The countdown to summer and those much-needed vacations has officially begun! Wherever your destinations may be, PVMG can help you travel safe and travel smart!

We are so excited to announce that PVMG has been certified by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as a travel clinic! This means that we can offer travel vaccines and medications to help protect you while traveling internationally. Simply let us know where you are going and come in for a visit 4 to 6 weeks before your trip. The only thing left for you to do is sit back, relax and enjoy your vacation!

Dr. Sher Published in The New England Journal of Medicine

Dupilumab in Persistent Asthma with Elevated Eosinophil Levels, the title of Dr. Sher’s (and a few other peoples’) article, was published in The New England Journal of Medicine on May 21^st! Despite the fact that the majority of us won’t be able to understand a single word, doesn’t make it any less of an accomplishment! Congratulations Dr. Sher on this amazing achievement!

Back to School Already?

Although it may seem like years away, we have already started scheduling back-to-school physicals! Avoid the end of summer rush and get those physicals out of the way now!

Complimentary Newborn Baby Care Class – Wednesday, June 25^th, 7:00 pm at Palos Verdes Medical Group

Our one-session newborn baby care class is free of charge and open to patients and community members. Both new and experienced parents are welcome. Topics such as breastfeeding, bottle feeding and infant care will be covered. Class is taught by our office manager Michelle Smith, who has a Master's in Public Health and is a Certified Childbirth Educator, and one of our pediatricians.
