ACHOO! Allergy Season is Here!
March may be over, but allergy season sure isn’t! One of the simplest ways to avoid spring and summer allergens and asthma triggers is to stay inside with the windows closed, but who wants to be cooped up all spring and summer? By planning ahead, people with allergies can still enjoy outdoor events. Dr. Sher suggests following a few simple tips to make the outdoors more enjoyable during allergy season. TB Tests Not Available Until June
The FDA is requiring that all tuberculosis (TB) tests be taken off the shelf until a new, latex-free rubber stopper is implemented. The latex rubber stopper has been found to have been the cause of numerous false positive tests. The new tuberculosis (TB) test will be available in June.

Complimentary Newborn Baby Care Class – Wednesday, April 24th, 7:00 pm at Palos Verdes Medical Group
Our one-session newborn baby care class is free of charge and open to patients and community members. Both new and experienced parents are welcome. Topics such as breastfeeding, bottle feeding and infant care will be covered. Class is taught by our office manager Michelle Smith, who has a Master's in Public Health and is a Certified Childbirth Educator, and one of our pediatricians.
