Dr. Gravino hosted dentists and orthodontists from around the country for a learning opportunity with Dr. Willy Dayan right here in Bay Village.      Together, they studied ways to use orthodontics to prepare a foundation for the restorative dentist to  build  a beautiful and  functional smile.
Dr. Willy Dayan,  from  Toronto, lectures internationally, has studied at the prestigious Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and is a registered speaker and Elite Invisalign provider.  His practice has concentrated on the challenges of adult orthodontics, with special attention to details of occlusion and rehabilitative dentistry.

EWWWW....NOT BRUSHING YOUR TONGUE?

      It's a good idea!!  Did you know that the bacteria on your tongue gets under your taste buds and produces foul odors?  It's called bad breath!

To control the bacteria, try using an individual tongue scraper or the scraper on the back of a Colgate 360 toothbrush.  Make 3 or 4 sweeping strokes from the back to the front of your tongue; start at either side and work your way across the surface.  An ADA study shows that simply controlling bacteria on your tongue reduces bad breath measurements by 70%!
