Last month on April 20th, we held our first ever Spring Spectacular Trunk Show here at Red Bank Eye! This four-hour event showcased three brands of glasses at 25% off, and proceeds benefited the Parker Family Health Center here in Red Bank!
Red Bank Eye was able to raise significant funds for the Parker Family Health Center during our four-hour event on April 20th. This is all thanks to YOUR purchases, donations, and special contributions!
The funds and equipment received will be used to technologically update the exam rooms at PFHC in various ways. This will help doctors at the Parker Center to increase the quality of patient care, as well as the efficiency of care. These improvements can help doctors to see more patients, have access to more tests, and achieve results more quickly in order to provide diagnoses and treatment.
A little back story….
| As many of you know, Dr. Curtis and Rich began volunteering at the Parker Center in 2023, providing eye exams and optical care for patrons of the clinic. The Parker Center is operated by a network of volunteer doctors and staff. The center has been serving Monmouth County residents since 2001, offering a wide variety of healthcare services and lab work for those who qualify for free care. Both Dr. Curtis and Rich were eager to join the staff in giving back to this community! |

The needs of the surrounding community in which she grew up and developed lifelong relationships are especially close to home and heart for Dr. Curtis, and giving back by providing free eye care to those who need it most is a joy and a pleasure for her. She would love to be an inspiration for more practicing doctors to join this cause! |
So how did the idea for our Spring Spectacular show come about?
Dr Curtis wanted to personally do more to raise awareness about the Parker Center and obtain funds for new equipment. Ruthie, Rich, and Dr Curtis met to discuss how they could involve Red Bank Eye and our Spectacular glasses in this cause! In late 2022, the idea for our Spring Spectacular show was born!
On event day, April 20th, Red Bank Eye was filled with clients, family, and friends who SHOWED UP to support us in raising both donations and awareness for the Parker Center!

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the show of love and support from the people who mean so much to us at Red Bank Eye. YOU are the reason we do what we do, and we couldn’t have done this without YOU!
