Dear ,

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health.  Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our routines and returning to a new normal.  While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety and dental health.

Infection control has always been a top priority for Prairie Dental Arts.  Our infection control processes are in place so everyone is both safe and comfortable.

Our office will be following all infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association(ADA), U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention(CDC) and the Occupational Safety & Health Administration(OSHA).  We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

Dr. Flor has elected to invest in several new medical grade surgical air purification systems for our facility which surpass CDC & OSHA infection control guidelines to further provide added safety to our patients.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment.  We made these changes to help protect our patients and employees.  For example:

*Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing and infection control procedures.  Our team will be prioritizing appointments based on the new guidelines set forth for us.

*Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions.  You will be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.

*We will ask that you text or call us upon your arrival to the clinic as we want to continue to follow the "social distancing" recommendations.  We will have you wait in your vehicle until our clinical team is ready to see you.

*We only allow patients in the clinic unless accompanying a minor child or elder adult that needs assistance due to medical reasons.  We ask that only 1 guardian accompany's the patient.

*We ask that you wear a mask to your appointments. We will not be providing masks for patients.

*We will be taking temperatures as you arrive to the clinic.  If you temperature is above 100.4, you will be asked to leave and reschedule your appointment.

*We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office.  You will also find more in the reception area and other places in the office to use as needed.

*We will no longer have magazines and toys in our reception room as they are very difficult to keep clean and disinfected.

*Due to the increased protective equipment that our employees will be wearing, the temperature in the office may be cooler.  Please dress accordingly, example:  (sweater, jacket).

*Processing your payments will also be changed to protect you and our employees.  We are asking for patients to place a credit card on file when scheduling appointments to minimize any cross contamination.  If you will be paying by check we ask that you provide your own pen and have the check ready by the end of your appointment.

Dr. Flor and Prairie Dental Arts dental team are looking forward to assisting you and your family for their dental care needs.  We ask for your patience during this transition as the "NEW NORMAL".

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we taking to keep you and every patient, safe.  To make an appointment, please TEXT or  call 507-833-1000.  You can also email us at waseca@prairiedentalarts.com or visit our website at www.prairiedentalarts.com.
