Complimentary Newborn Baby Care Classes - Wednesday, August 8^th & Thursday, August 16^th, 7:00 pm at Palos Verdes Medical Group

Last month Palos Verdes Medical Group hosted our very first newborn baby care class for both new and experienced parents. This class was taught by Dr. Monica Saad and our office manager, Michelle Smith, who has a Master’s in Public Health and is a Certified Childbirth Educator. The class was a huge success and much more popular than anticipated! To ensure that all those interested are able to attend, we are offering encore classes on August 8^th and August 16^th. This class is once again free of charge and open to our patients and community members. Topics such as breastfeeding, bottle feeding and infant care will be covered. Mary’s Promenade on the Peninsula 5K Run/Walk – Sunday, October 14^th, 8:30 am

Palos Verdes Medical Group is sponsoring the 2012 Promenade on the Peninsula 5K Run/Walk. Mary’s Promenade on the Peninsula 5k Run is an exciting and unique 5K that starts directly on the Promenade mall, takes a picturesque loop through the beautiful city of Rolling Hill Estates, and finishes again with runners sprinting past Center Court of the Promenade Mall. All proceeds benefit the YWCA Harbor/South Bay. Register in person at iBerries Frozen Yogurt or online. Let us know that you registered and receive a free t-shirt to wear on race day! Meet Our New Physician

To meet the needs of our growing practice, we have added a new member to our team! Dr. Stephanie Chen specializes in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She will be joining us full-time in August. Please help us in welcoming her to the Southbay and to PVMG.

New Appointment Reminder System

We are making it more convenient for you to communicate with our practice! We will now be sending appointment reminders via e-mail, text messages to your cell phone, pager, or PDA. Please make sure you provide us with your current information so that you have one less phone call to answer! When you receive a message by e-mail, simply click the icon provided for confirmation. Confirm as soon as you receive the first message, and you're done! The other messages will simply be reminders. If you do not want to receive text messages or e-mails, please let us know and we would be happy to disable that feature for you.

PVMG Goes Digital

We are currently in the process of transferring over to electronic medical records. This will give patients the ability to log on to a portal and receive their lab results, physician recommendations and much more! We appreciate your patience while we make these changes and hope that these enhancements will help us to better serve you.
