To all our valued patients
We hope this message finds you and yours healthy as the COVID-19 coronavirus impacts our community. Please note that in response to Gov. Wolf's order earlier this afternoon requiring all non life-sustaining business to close, our office will have limited hours until April 6, 2020. Though our office is exempt from Gov. Wolf's order, we feel it is at the very least our civic duty to try to keep all of our patients and their families as safe as they can be during this unprecedented outbreak and though we would love to see all of you in our office, now is not the time. Our office will maintain our regular business hours tomorrow Friday 3/20/20. Next week the office will be open for critical care patients only. Routine eye examinations will not be performed during this time, nor will eyeglass purchasing. Those picking up eyewear may do so next week during limited hours listed below via curbside pickup. Instructions on pickup will be provided by calling, texting or emailing our office in advance. Eyewear orders may still be placed by calling, texting or emailing us.
If you have a true medical emergency, please call or text us, dial 911 or call your local hospital's emergency room BEFORE going to the ER.
We have and continue to reach out to any patients that have appointments in the hours we will be closed. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please click below. PLEASE NOTE: If you have an appointment scheduled next week you may have already received or may receive a confirmation text or email for the appointment. PLEASE DISREGARD. No routine eye examinations will be taking place in our office until April 6, 2020 at the earliest.
We are hoping that we may resume normal business operations on April 6, 2020 but please understand that this situation is fluid and may require further schedule adjustments if deemed necessary. What's most important is that everyone practice social distancing, wash your hands, stay at home as much as possible, wash your hands, stay calm, catch up on Netflix, wash your hands, find a new hobby to do safely at home to pass the time, and most importantly, wash your hands.
IMPORTANT: If you are infected with COVID-19 or think you may have been infected, please contact us before coming in. This way we can instruct you on where to go and how to proceed for the safety of all.
Contact us with any questions. We are here to help you.
Thank you for your understanding and support,
Dr. Gail Pelosi
