Dear friends and family of Fox Gentle Dentistry,

       Happy New Year to each of you from our office family in this year of 2014. We hope you each had a wonderful Christmas and holiday season and are excited for what 2014 will bring.

      I am enjoying this "season of light" and the afterglow of the holidays. We have appreciated the decorations, yard light displays, candles and joy the season brings, especially with fewer hours of daylight. A single flame from a candle pierces the darkness and a fireplace provides heat and light. We all reach for candles, flashlights, and cell phone lights when the electricity goes out. Nightlights help us find our way and comfort our children as they sleep. Lighting is important for our sense of security in parking lots and walkways and essential for doing our jobs and living in our homes.

      In another sense, light is closely related to hope. The ancient Magi followed a great light (a star) until it led them to an even greater light, our Savior, and source of hope. A challenge for each of us in 2014 is to be the light for those around us and inspire hope even in the most difficult circumstances. If each of us could inspire and give hope to at least one person each day, think of all the lives that would be touched. We would all have brighter and more fulfilling days no matter how many hours of sunlight. This is my wish for 2014 and beyond.

      As I reflect on 2013, we are all thankful for the friendships we share and the privilege to partner with you for your health and well being and the care of your smile. We so enjoy each person that visits us and our goal is to exceed your expectations. We also thank those people serving our country and their families here and abroad and pray for their safe return home.

      We look forward to seeing you in our newly remodeled office and treatment areas. We are happy to share it with you and give you a tour if you wish. In closing, please come and see us soon- we will leave the light on!
