June is National Candy Month! While enjoying your favorite sweet treats can be delicious, don't forget to keep it in moderation and remember that it's more important than ever to stay on top of your dental care!
As warm weather quickly approaches, many of our patients are visiting relatives domestically, traveling abroad, or otherwise enjoying themselves. But here’s a word of advice: even though you may be far from home, you should still be brushing and flossing daily. If you neglect your teeth, even for a week or two during a vacation, we’ll notice the difference during your next office visit.
EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT
This month, our employee spotlight is on Nathena Ganus. Nathena has been a part of the team since 2006. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Joey, and their boxer, Brady. She loves to hike, swim, bike, and work-out. She spends most of her time off with her nephew, Michael and her grandmother. She loves being in the kitchen and has recently become a Pampered Chef consultant as a fun hobby. She often brings in treats for her co-workers (which we love!). Nathena is very involved with activities at Calvary Baptist Church.
CALLING ALL ARTISTS!
We are doing a little redecorating and we want your help! We provide the canvas and you provide the artwork!! For the next few weeks, we will be giving all interested artists a 10"x 10" canvas, while supplies last.
Here are a few rules:
- A piece of dental floss must be incorporated in your masterpiece
- The canvas must be completely covered - no white left
- We'll need it back by August 9th
CONGRATULATIONS!
Our contest for May was to guess the number of flowers hanging from our ceiling. Emilee G. was the lucky winner and she won a fabulous prize! This month's contest is to guess the number of sunglasses!
On June 16th we are having a special Beach Day! Join in on the fun with your sunglasses or board shorts!
On July 5th, we'll celebrate Independence Day and we invite those patients scheduled to come in wearing RED, WHITE & BLUE!
