We have some other exciting news to share with you!

On February 3, 2011, Dr. Doerfler was given the Kunik Award, which is named after Dr. Burt Kunik, the founder of our Houston Dental Meeting. Dr. Kunik saw the need for a Houston Dental Meeting and had the vision and drive to bring it to reality over 40 years ago.  The award is presented yearly to an individual who has shown the dedication, over the years, to help make this meeting what we see today.

Presenting the award is Dr. Greg Oelfke, general chairperson of the 2011 Greater Houston Dental Meeting.  Dr. Oelfke presented the award during the meeting, adding "Thanks for all you have done and continue to do for dentistry, the Greater Houston Dental Society and the Star of the South Dental Meeting."

Be sure to check out the Kunik award the next time you visit our office.  We are all excited about this honor.
