The best dentist I have ever been to, hands down. His staff greets you by name as soon as you walk in the door. Everyone is professional and super friendly. It is a joy to go to this dentist. I have moved out of Arlington in the past six years of having Dr. Kim as my dentist, but I will not stop going to him even though it means driving out of my way to get to his office. I would highly recommend Dr. Kim to anyone. And especially those who have had previous bad experiences or who have current dental problems. He solved all of my problems that two previous dentists were unable to with one procedure. I have never felt pain during any procedures performed by Dr. Kim either, whereas I had endured pain when going to previous dentists.

The days of treacherous dentist visits are over. This time I told everyone it was nice to see them again, and although the words sounded strange to my own ears, I meant it! Not only is everybody nice an Dr. Kim great about answering questions, the office's push to make sure I come in every six months means my teeth and gums are in better shape and dentist visits are a breeze!

Bruce Badger - Very professional and friendly service. You can't get any better than Dr. Kim and his superb staff. They treat you well and respect your time. I never wait for my appointment. My wife and I have been using Ballston Dental Arts for 4 years now and have recommended them to everyone.

I really enjoy the comfortable and personable atmosphere in the office. It almost makes me like going to the dentist. Dr. Kim really does a thorough exam as well as the usual dental care. Stephanie at the front desk is always wonderful and Tasha and Karen are so sweet and really skillful at their jobs.

I would highly recommend this practice to friends and family. The office staff was both friendly and accomodating. I was able to get an appointment right away. Everyone made me feel extremely comfortable. All of the procedures and options were explained in great detail. The visit was attentive and thorough! All of the staff, from front to back, were amazing! My best dental experience yet!

Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful! From Stephanie at the front desk, to the ladies who took my x-rays, to Dr. Kim himself. The office also had a lot of what I would consider "state of the art" equipment that I haven't seen in other dentists' offices. Overall great experience!

I visited this practice for a second opinion since my previous dentist was sub-par. Dr. Kim really helped me understand my dental situation. This dentist was out of network for me so it was a little more expensive but sadly I recognized that you have to pay for good quality. Will be returning soon for more dental work.

I have been going to Dr. Kim's office since 2006 and feel that is is the best dental care in Northern Virginia. His approach to dentistry keeps in mind the cosmetic appearance of your smile - not just solving the problem. I highly recommend this dentist.

Ballston Dental Arts is by far the best dentist I've ever seen. I've been going to Dr. Kim for three years and I would never go anywhere else. The staff is so friendly, their advanced technology for appointment reminders is so convenient for me as a very busy young adult, and they have early morning appointments that allow me to have my twice yearly check-ups without having to miss any work. Dr. Kim never makes you wait to see him and he always gives me as much time as needed--I never feel rushed.

I always had problems with my teeth (cavities, sensitivity, receding gums) and I brush and floss every day. Since I started with Dr. Kim, all those problems have gotten under control. My teeth used to hurt a lot on and off and I was told I just had sensitive teeth. Since I started with Dr. Kim, all the "sensitive" tooth pain has vanished. I never have had to return to the office because of a mistake... whereas in the past there was always something off about a crown or filling with other dentists and I would have to return for them to fix it. Dr. Kim gets it right the first time. As a bonus, the staff is very engaging and warm as is Dr. Kim. He is very professional and takes the time to speak with you. Fantastic service starting from the front door. The entire staff is welcoming and informative. I have never had to spend more than 1 minute in the waiting room prior to going in back. All procedures are explained in detail beforehand, often with video, so you are always aware of what is going on. The doctor, medical staff and office staff are extremely accommodating and works hard in your interest to make sure you have great teeth. Highly recommended! M.D.

Maybe it is just me but I have come to expect the dentist office to be like a torture chamber where you will dread going, not understand what is being done, and why it is costing you so much. Dr. Kim explains things in easy to understand language instead of dentist terms. His staff also explains the charges in a straightforward manner and helps you to understand and deal with your ridiculous insurance company. His office is professional in every way. They send you email reminders about appointments, offer you a cup of coffee, and do it all with a smile. He has several friendly staff members who make going to the dentist a fun experience despite the fact that it is a trip to the dentist.
