I was a nervous wreck, but from the moment I entered the office I felt relief. The young lady at the desk greeted me with a smile and was very patient with me as I comp,eyed my paperwork. The Carol, the office manager, came out to ask me how I was feeling. She remembered from our last conversation that I was very anxious, She not made me feel more comfortable about the procedure, she let me use her personal phone and ear buds to listen to music the entire time that Dr. Bruce was working on me. Greg, his lab tech made me laugh as I waited for the Doc and Sue his assistant to begin. I cannot put into words how great my experience was without sounding 'corny', but for a person who has not has the best of experiences at the dentist...this was incredible. Every one was do reassuring and honest about everything about the procedure from Greg calling me to remind me to start my meds the day before to Sue calling me once I returned home.

I have complete trust in Dr Edelstein on matters of serious dental issues such as implants. His office is very accommodating and extremely efficient. His lobby reminds one of an Art Opening. My waiting time was actually minus 45 minutes in that he took me earily. In fact, I have never waited long enough to finish flipping through a magazine. He and his entire office is focused on moving through the process as quickly as possible. And yet, I never felt being rushed during any part of the process to include the consultation before, during and or after the surgery.

This was the best dental procedure I have ever had. Sadly I have had a lot of dental work for someone my age, so I can take a bit pain and the discomfort of things in your mouth. When I walked in Greg put me at ease. Dr. Edelstein gave me a shot and said this is the most you will feel 15-20 minute later he extracted my tooth. It was pain free. As a medical professional myself, I know technique matters and this same minor surgery could have hurt much more if performed by someone else. This is the place to go.

I was referred to Dr. Edelstein's practice by my dentist for a gum graft surgery. While I can honestly say the procedure was not something I enjoyed, Dr. Edelstein and his staff made it easier and more painless than I ever thought possible. He was willing to stop to re-administer novocaine whenever I needed it, and gave me a "break" during the procedure. He had a gentle demeanor and touch- my mouth did not feel as "ravaged" as with other dentists. I healed quickly and completely and have enjoyed the results. As a artist, Dr. Edelstein brings his esthetic sense to his work and took care to make my gum repair as attractive as it is functional. And I am happy to know that it will go a long way in terms of my keeping my teeth! I continue to go for bi-annual cleanings at his recommendation, and I feel that is it worthwhile. His staff is always friendly and accommodating - I feel like a valued patient!

I got a gum graft here not even 24 hours ago and it was actually pleasant. The procedure was a little uncomfortable because they needed to numb me with the novocaine, but other than that, painless and easy. The recovery is great. I took a few extra strength tylenol yesterday (day of surgery) and it literally took all of the discomfort away. There wasnt much to begin with though, which was great. I can eat normally, just can't bite into anything like an apple or sandwich. Amazing experience here!

I've been told by numerous people that gum grafting was so painful, they regretted having it done. While I won't lie and say this is a pleasant procedure, I WILL say that this was the second time I've needed it and both times were VERY manageable, pain wise. The staff was super at attending to my needs, making sure I was comfortable, and also prepping me before hand. I'm glad I chose the #1 periodontist in town to help me with my gum issues.

My hygienist was awesome! I was nervous initially and she made me comfortable and at ease. The last time I received a deep cleaning from another facility I was in a lot of pain once the numbness went away but not this time! The hygienist was very gentle, did not have to stop at all for my 4 hour procedure. Very pleased and will not wait years between cleanings this time around knowing that I will be going back to Dr. Edelstein and his staff.

Dr. E did a great job. I had some pain yesterday but none today. I didn't understand the procedure exactly before yesterday (thought I did) so was a bit surprised but all in all, it went well. I do wish I had the prescriptions ahead of time so I didn't have to wait at CVS to get my pain med. The local wore off pretty fast.

Most patients have gone to a regular dentist for years to have cleanings,fillings,etc. But, why not try a more specialized dentist to check your gums,etc. and see if there may be some other warning areas that have been overlooked that may cause health problems. I'm very happy with the service I've received for my periio maintenance visits with Mandy and Dr. Edelstein, and with the pleasant environment, friendly staff, and outcomes so far. Yesterday, I told Mandy before she started her maintenance procedures that my goal was "same or improved" condition of my gums health, and that goal was met. She told me one previous "5" was now a "4" and the other few areas of attention were the same ("4") or less. I was very pleased to hear that, as I've been working very hard and consistently in my daily and nightly home maintenance. I like Mandy and her caring style ... she addresses my questions and helps me understand the "correct" techniques to use when brushing, flossing, etc. I feel that I've found the right periodontist and hygenist. Fantastic experience! I never write reviews, but this experience needs to be shared. Deathly afraid of mouth procedures/any surgeries. I was calmed down completely by the staff, and they provided a great experience. Much less discomfort than anticipated. I had a 4 tooth gum graft yesterday, and I'm at work today with no pain medicine! Great staff, great doctor! Typing this on my phone, please ecxuse any misspelling/grammar issues.

Dr. Edelstein and his staff take the time to explain procedures thoroughly and create a welcoming environment. (I realize some will wonder how one can associate that adjective with dental surgical procedures, but it's somehow apt.) It's clear that everyone is concerned about the welfare and health of patients. This is seen in the careful post procedure orientation offered, again marked by a desire to address questions and concerns. The level of support and professionalism is outstanding in everyone associated with the practice. No one with a serious dental issue is happy about needing surgery or extensive treatment, but when this happens to you, you only hope you can get help on such an exceptional level.

I was given two names by my dentist, and I called both. The customer/patient service provided over the phone by this office far exceeded the other office I had called. An appointment was set for two days after my call. Upon arrival, staff greeted me, validated my parking card, and I was seated almost immediately. Sue was amazing. She was personable, informative, and she made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Edelstein was very professional and thorough, and he made sure I understood my options and the procedures involved in both. Sue summarized everthing at then end of the visit, and told me how to prepare and what to expect the date of the procedure. At the end of the visit, Sylvia went over the cost and payment options very thoroughly. I am generally terrified of anything or anyone related to the dental industry, but this was actually a good experience. I most definitely would recommend them to anyone.

The only thing I would have changed about my visit yesterday was a little bit more information on the procedure suggested which I will be doing. I feel confident in Dr Edelstein's work, but wasn't sure about length of time for recovery, sutures and other issues regarding the gum grafting. I did speak to someone this morning who could not have been more pleasant and informative. Everyone is always quite helpful. A good feeling. I have and shall continue to recommend patients to this office with confidence.

You guys were great. Extremely friendly and professional. My only comment would be to be prepared to have a financial discussion about costs up front so that costs are known and can be factored in to the bigger picture when dealing with a complex case. Sue did follow up with an email which was very helpful but I still got the impression there may be some hidden costs. You are the 4th specialist I've been to in this process (for different parts of the process) and the others were a bit more factual about the pricing and could give me a pretty detailed estimate after the first consultation. Many thanks for you time and counsel. We may be workting together yet.

In 2012 I was diagnosed with gum disease by a local dentist. After their initial evaluation they suggested I take part in a new "cutting edge" treatment that will rid my gum disease in-evasively without scaling and root planing. Of course I said, "great" until I saw the cost for the procedure. Once I left their office, my intuition kicked in and something told me to get a second opinion. A good friend/neighbor referred me to Dr. Edelstein in January 2013. I made an appointment and he saw me immediately. He assured me that my intuition was correct and the "non-evasive" procedure was not proven and the only way to effectively treat gum disease is through scaling/root planing. Also, after viewing my x-rays, he informed me that I had a large cyst in my sinus cavity. He referred me to a local ENT where I was treated. Not only did Dr. Edelstein progressively treat me for gum disease he also looked out for my overall health. Forever thankful to Dr. Edelstein

Customer service is a priority for Dr. Edelstein and his employees. I have never felt more taken care of in a medical practice of any kind. I almost wish I needed more work done, so I could have an excuse to return. [I should point out I am scared of any and all dentists.] While the practice is absolutely amazing, I have to emphasize the artistic approach taken by Dr. Edelstein. He didn't look at my gums from a medical standpoint, he looked at them as an artist would his canvas. Within five minutes, I KNEW I was with the right periodontist and practice. Overall, the help I received was excellent and the staff is very good at what they do. The only thing that might make the operation more comfortable for the patient is to not have a conversation among the staff that ignores the patient. While the operation was taking place there was an ongoing talk about DVDs and movies as if I wasn't there being worked on. The only time I was addressed was to move my head. It would also help to let the patient know how best to signal if they need to cough or want a momentary break. Thanks for asking for my feedback.

Dr. Edelstein is a real pro and everyone at his office I've met has been very pleasant and professional. My 2nd tooth extraction by the Dr. was smooth as silk; no digging for tooth fragments like with the other doctor which meant much less recovery time -- I've had 3 extractions in 3 years. :( I had a chance to have the tooth extracted by my dentist who is just starting to do implants but I paid extra because I knew that if Dr. Edelstein did the implant there'd be almost no chance of anything going wrong. And isn't that what you want when you are having things done with your body?

I had some pretty involved surgery and left with little discomfort and almost no pain. My surgery was yesterday, and today I am pain free with only dental packing and a few stitches to remind me I had surgery. My pain medication is Advil because I didn't need the prescription pain medication. The doctor's staff is excellent, and Dr. Edelstein is even better than his reputation.

Visit could not have been better. Worked me in because of "emergency". Tina was great on preliminary analysis. The Gum Doc quickly confirmed problem. Tina handled the procedure extremely well. There were slight delays because I always like to discuss photography with the Gum Doc, and then, to make matters worse, Tina and I discovered that we were both of Italian heritage, and, next thing you know, I am showing her pictures of relatives I found over there! The work was excellent, and the attitude was as friendly as you could hope for.

Dr. Bruce Edelstein is the most wonderful dentist that I have ever had. I have been a patient of Dr. Edelstein for approximately 20 years and I have always had the best experience that a patient could ever have! Dr. Edelstein has most recently done bone regeneration, gum tissue regeneration, sinus lift, 4 implants and all of this was done without any pain whatsoever! Dr. Edelstein is the most gentle and caring dentist on planet earth. Now my teeth are completely restored and look and feel great! I am now simply on maintenance, visiting Dr. Edelstein every six months and on rotation with my other dentist every six months as well. My very 1st impression was my first phone call to the office. Great phone person. She made feel this was the office to i wanted to come for my gum problems. Next, very relaxing office. The next big surprise was Dr Edelstein, and his assistant. They both were great and in detail on my mouth problems in terms that I understood. In order to help you improved what went wrong the day of my appointment, here are my comments: I had my appointment on 3/12/13 at 11am. I got to see the Dr. until 1pm (2 hrs late!)...the Dr. check on my teeth and confirmed what Dr. Scott has told me before, that I needed surgery. After around 10 minutes of checking my teeth I was sent to the financial office to talk about my options of the procedure and I got charged for $165 usd which I consider it is very expensive for just a few minutes and after I waited over 2 hrs to see the Dr. The less I was expecting was a discount for the patience I had. Everything is professional; they are caring and I know the absolute best dental and gum care as well as the most current information provided me. I believe this office saved my teeth and gums. Not only are my gums and teeth healthy now, but they are aesthetically pleasing and natural. The procedure was done in only 2 surgeries, and was very extensive and very successful. Dr. Edelstein is an artist and an exceptional endodontist with the ability to analyze a complicated situation which required multiple techniques within one surgery; and all of it worked very well. My questions were all answered in terms of the results that he expected, and what I worried might go wrong. I understood the entire procedure, and felt very confident when the upper and the lower surgeries were done, and I was very well informed every step of the way. The specific concerns I had about my gums were addressed and the results were excellent. This should have been done about 10 years earlier; I would have had even better results, but I did not have this endodontist at that time. I would highly recommend Dr. Edelstein and his staff to anyone at any age needing gum surgery.

Such a professional and great experience. It was so refreshing how knowledgeable the entire staff is. All my questions about the gum grafting procedure were answered including the details about all the options and why some options were not suitable for my situation. I have full confidence that I have found the best periodontist in Atlanta. Although the procedure seems very expensive, this is not something I would consider shopping around. I am actually looking forward to having the procedure done so I can finally cover up my roots and reduce the terrible sensitivity for good. So glad I did not go with another practice/doctor and feel very lucky I have found someone I can trust for such an important and potentially painful procedure. Hoping the recovery afterwards will be less painful than I am imagining. Still yet to be known.

I was fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Edelstein many years ago when I was having issues with an implant and various periodontal problems. Over the years, through many different surgeries and following his suggested schedule of hygiene appointments, my periodontal health has improved greatly. I actually enjoy going to his office because everyone is pleasant, supportive and most of all knowledgeable.

It is a real joy to visit Dr. Bruce Edelstein's office. The mood of the office over all is very soothing and relaxing which takes away some of the nervousness that may come with visiting with a Dentist. The staff and assistants are professional and extremely knowledgeable and sensitive to any client's personal situation and will explain all options available. If you have to get a tooth pulled, this is where you want to go. I have had quite a few pulled in my lifetime, and this was the least unpleasant experience ever. No bloody gauze to wear home. In fact, no bloodiness at all after prodedure (which I barely remembered a few hours later). Very little discomfort. No pain to speak of. Now, I'm not advocating everyone should go out and get their tooth pulled; but if you must, have Dr. E do it!

Sue was very professional and Dr. Edelstein fully explained the grafting procedure and the recovery. I made an appt. with the billing rep for Dec. 4th so that I get this procedure done soon and after Thanksgiving. It was clear it needs to be done. I am paying the additional amount to cover the gum line-hope we have great success!

I've had excellent service at this office. From the receptionist, the office staff, the dental assistants and the dentist himself. They are friendly, warm and caring. I always enjoy my visits. After cleaning, which is always excellent; Dr. Edelstein comes in and reviews not only the cleaning, but inspects to see if anything is going on that may need to be addressed. He also takes time to answer any questions or concerns I may have.
