As usual it felt like a real privilege to visit and be attended to by Dr. Harrell and his staff. They are as close to perfection as people can get! If I had not become a patient of Dr. Harrell years ago, I doubt I would have any teeth remaining in my mouth. He and his dental assistants and hygienists are both artists and eminently qualified medical people! My hygienist is incredibly patient, kind, and she provides me with excellent dental advice and suggestions. I feel genuine dread of Dr. Harrell ever retiring!

As one with a dental phobia who has experienced painful and sometimes unnecessary procedures from dentists who were either unable or unwilling to understand and address my fears, Dr. Harrell's gentle, compassionate, and skilled care have been a godsend. Complicated procedures are carefully explained, questions are encouraged, and comfort is a given. Every dentist should have this superb combination of knowledge and skill.

Celeste is an exceptional dental hygienist. She is buoyant, positive, informative, professional & efficient. I’ve learned more from her on the specific details of my dental care in the past few visits than anyone I’ve seen before, and she imparts this information in a low key, but compelling way. Also, receptionist was polite & responsive. Dr Harrell greeted me by name. If you must visit a dentist, and I must three times per year, this was as pleasant an experience as you could hope for.

Dr. Ray Harrell's dental practice is THE BEST!! I've been coming here for almost 25 years and they take excellent care of my teeth. Dr. Harrell and his staff are always very pleasant and extremely attentive to my dental needs. I currently see Celeste as a dental hygienist and she is excellent!! I come here every 3 to 4 months for my dental cleanings and always feel like my teeth are very clean when I leave.

Dental treatment is not high on my list of exciting things to do but we always enjoying seeing Dr. Ray, Jackie and other team members who are always friendly and inviting. This office and exam rooms are always extraordinarily clean and well lit with the most equipment. They do a great job of making sure you are comfortable with everything they are doing. In most cases, it is pretty painless.

I will call on Monday if anyone is there. Or Tuesday. I did not say anything yesterday but I’m not sure my uppers were scraped clean. They were brushed as Dr Ray came in, but they had not been throughly cleaned. Maybe they were then I’ll be an idiot but it might be good to check it out. That said, Dr Ray said my teeth were in good shape.

Yesterday was my first time at Doctor Harrell's office and I can't say enough positive about his professionalism and that of his staff. It felt like a warm, compassionate office with the patient in mind. Very thorough, and yet friendly atmosphere. It sure makes going to the dentist office a lot more pleasant!

Dr. Harrell and staff work together like a well oiled machine starting as you walk through the door being greeted by Jackie’s beautiful smile and welcoming greeting (she has worked there for 33 years). Next Dr. Harrell’s dental assistant, Michelle (7 years with Dr. Harrell) greets you with her beautiful smile as you are seated and prepared for Dr. Harrell. She seems to anticipate exactly what he needs next as he completes his work. Dr. Harrell is probably the most professional and proficient dentist I know. He discusses every step he makes as he completes his work, extremely gentle, knowledgeable and terrific. I can’t say enough about how wonderful my visits are at his office and excited about how he helps me stay healthy. Dr. Harrell and staff have my highest recommendation for anyone looking for a great dental experience!

My experience with Dr. Ray Harrell and his staff was, without a doubt, the best I've ever had at a dentist. And that's saying a lot, considering what an anxious dental patient I am. I loved how warm and welcoming everything was, from the staff to the office environment. Dr. Harrell is kind, patient, warmly attentive, professional. His voice and manner are very soothing and calming. He and his assistant, Michelle, worked together so effortlessly. Their quiet, easy confidence calmed my nerves throughout the procedure. Simply cannot say enough good things! I will definitely be referring friends and family.

My first visit to Dr. Harrell's office was what my kids would call "awesome"! Everyone in the office was friendly and courteous; my concerns and needs were the chief consideration. The quality of care was extraordinary. The receptionist greeted me warmly and professionally. Dr. Harrell wanted to know my situation and concerns and listened carefully to what I said. He was reassuring and considerate and very thorough in his exam, explaining what he was seeing. My time with the hygienist was far beyond anything i have ever experienced. Not only did she do a thorough cleaning, but she explained what she was doing and gave me detailed advice on doing my own daily dental care. During my visit with the hygienist Dr. Harrell appeared and gave me the results of my X-rays, which he had already reviewed. The fees were quite reasonable.

I would say that this was the most thorough dental examination I have ever had. Very professional. Prior to any other activity, Dr. Ray Harrell came in and went over my dental and medical history in reasonable detail. Dr. Harrell never left the exam room and actually conducted the cleaning. I have never had any dentist spend much more than about 15 minutes with me and normally after the dental hygienist had completed their tasks. The next feature that I was pleased to experience was the lack of a push for additional services, prescription toothpaste, filling non-existent cavities; and insisting on scheduling a cleaning every six months.

I cannot speak highly enough of Drs Harrell, Johnson and Harrell. Dr Johnson has been my dentist for the past ten years and her work is absolutely top-notch. I cannot imagine in what way a dentist could possibly be better. Dr Ray Harrell performed a gingival graft for me several years ago (skin taken from the roof of my mouth and grafted onto my gum). His work was flawless and it's impossible to tell where the graft was applied. But it's not just the doctors who make this such a wonderful dental practice. All the other members of staff are highly professional. Annie, who cleans my teeth every six months, is impressively thorough in her work and vigilant about any problems that might be developing in my mouth. Michelle, who recently assisted Dr Johnson in some work on my front teeth, was also clearly at the top of her game, and the two worked together as a tightly integrated team. This is a highly professional team and I recommend them unreservedly.

Drs Harrell and Johnson are both very skilled, knowledgable, caring, friendly dentists who have the best interest of each individual patient at heart!!! They are wonderful people and I feel very comfortable and respected every time I go in their office for any kind of treatment!! Their entire staff is very friendly, knowledgable and helpful as well with the highest level of skill and professionalism I've seen!! I've been going to this office for years and have been highly satisfied every time. I have had to wait to be seared at times but I know it's because of the highest quality individual care that they give to each patient. I don't mind waiting for excellent care!!! I would highly recommend both drs and their staff to anyone!!!

It's a five star review. The work to be done was prepping a front tooth for a new crown. Dr. Johnson was careful to explain each step as she went and the work proceeded expeditiously and with no discomfort. Add to this her great chairside manner and that of her assistant with her supportive skills and you end up with an excellent experience.
