I was left with the information that bone loss of some of my teeth is of concern but no information about what treatment would mean and how much it would cost, and whether it would be done by Dr. Pylant or Dr. George. My statement may be unfair as bone loss was revealed at the end of my appointment time and the doctor(s) had no time to consider what to do about it or the extent of the loss. Otherwise the session I had was, as usual, very satisfactory.

From the time of my orthodontic work in high school (too many years ago to relate), going to the dentist has filled me with such dread and anxiety that migraines accompanied me on my trips to any dentist for any procedure. I happily report that is no longer the scenario! Since 1984, I have seen Dr. Pylant and my hygienist Gail twice a year. From the minute I open the door to the office, Barbara and others at the reception desk greet me warmly, personally, and professionally. Everyone in the entire office always exudes such pleasantry and cheer resulting in a welcoming atmosphere. Not only is Gail professional and prompt with my appointments, she also cares about my medical issues. We also find a little time to chat about everything...she inquires about my family...she makes me feel like a friend. I appreciate this far more than the clinical approach in so many medical facilities. The consummate profesional, Dr. Pylant is knowlegeable and such a charming, warm man. I enjoy his humming and singing and sense of humor. He always makes me laugh! And I know that my mouth and teeth are getting the best care. I no longer associate discomfort and pain with going to the dentist and actually enjoy the people and the warm, relaxing, welcoming climate at Dr. Pylant's office. Dr. Pylant has been my periodontist for many years. As a result, my dental health improved and has remained stable via examinations and cleanings. They examine for oral cancer at every exam. They also inquire about general health and current medications that may affect dental health. Dr. Pylant and staff are courteous, respectful, and truly vested in each patient. I had a history of major periodontal problems and was in dire need for a periodontist who excelled in knowledge and skills. I found that person in Dr. Pylant. Several years ago my family dentist recommended that I go to Dr. Pylant because my gums were recedeing. Dr. Pylant did skin grafts on my gums which stablized my teeth and kept me from loosing my teeth. I am very greatful to Dr. Pylant and his staff for an awesome job they do. It isn't often that you look forward to going to the dentist, however I must admit it is always a pleasure to visit Dr, Pylant's office. The office staff is always quite pleasant and the technical staff are very competent and congenial. The appointments are always kept on time and are handled in a business like manner. Dr. Pylant is quite good at explaining, in laymen's terms, his thoughts and procedures. What could be better? PS However, Dr. Pylant has been known to fudge the golf scores a wee bit.

I've been going to Dr. Pylant for a long time -he's done surgery twice over the years. He and his entire staff have been the best while giving quality care during surgery, follow up, and continued cleaning and monitoring problem areas. Great work done on my gums, painfree and done expeditiously. Follow-up has been done at my convenience. Everyone in this office treats you with respect.
