Staff was excellent and very empathetic. I already referred 4 potential new patients based off of my experience. I had a traumatic experience when I was younger with a dentist and was extremely anxious in the waiting room. I can’t say enough good things about my first visit. I’m excited to go back!

Dina is great, and I like Dr. Feiler, and support staff there. My issue with the office, is they are a complete sales machine, constantly throwing in services, and checks to try to bill you more money for visit. I go multiple times a year for cleanings, and something else is always jammed into them to charge me more. I do not have dental, and although from a business perspective i appreciate the model, it is horrible to do, for cash customers, and although i have voiced this, it continues to happen.

I was a patient there when I lived in Riveredge and was very happy with him. When I moved, I found a dentist that was closer to my new home. Soon after I realized there is no one like Dr. Feiler and his office. The new dentist told me I needed thousands of dollars worth of gum work and I knew there was no way that could be true. So I went back to Dr. Feiler. He could have a greed with that dentist and I would’ve paid him the thousands of dollars but he didn’t. He told me I did not need it. We are still patients of his now even though we have to drive somewhat far to get there. I recently saw him for Invislign and his prices were much much lower than everyone else and after only five weeks, my teeth are amazingly straight. Can’t say enough good things about him and his staff.

June and Mary are exceptional representatives for your business. If I could change anythihng it would be this. The reminder phone calls are a very good idea. But what I would change is this. Your message says please contact us to confirm this appointment. i really feel that your message should say, please contact us if you can not attend the appointment. Why do I have to contact you to say that I am coming to the appointment? Why are you giving me extra work to do my day is busy enough already? If I can't make the appointment, i do beiieve that I have an obligation to notify your office.

I would give only 1 star for this location, and that's only because Karina, at the front desk was very pleasant and professional. As a new patient, who was asked to come in 15mins prior to the appointment time and showed up as asked, I was made to wait at least 1hour to be seen, before I decided to leave. It was a Saturday morning and the office was empty. When I asked how much longer it would be before theycould take me back I was told that the tech said they were almost done but wouldn't give a time. My time is just as valuable as the dentists. When asked when the next new patient visit would be if I rescheduled I was told another 2 weeks. I don't feel that I can give this office any hire of a rating.

My hygenist appt have been resecheduled a number of times and whenever I'm there, I wait and wait and wait to the point where I want to just leave and never go back. You should really figure out a different system so people aren't waiting so long. I'm not the only person who has had this problem at your river edge office.

When my 90 year old mother broke a tooth recently, I did an online search for a dentist in Bergen County that specializes in senior citizens. It was my good fortune to find Dr. Levine. I was able to get an appointment quickly, found the building & office to be wheelchair accessible & the staff to be very friendly & accommodating. I am thrilled with the care Dr. Levine gave my mother. He was gentle, patient, capable & kind. Since Mom has big mobility problems I was relieved that he was able to extract the tooth himself, the same day! It would have been so difficult to manage another visit to an oral surgeon. The procedure was quick, painless & very successful. The whole experience was great, and very affordable as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Levine and the staff to anyone in need of caring dental care!

Came to your office at my scheduled time, sat down in the dental recliner and was asked a few brief questions after my b.p was taken. The one question was regarding my medical history and if anything has changed. I replied yes that in October 2014 I had reverse shoulder replacement surgery. I was asked if I had taken antibiotics and I replied no. I was told I needed to take them before the appt.. Dr. Levine was called in to explain. He explained why a.b. was needed. I left the office and was very much irritated as to the parameters that have been set in place regarding this appointment. I should have been alerted prior to my visit regarding to any changes in my medical history. This should have been asked of me prior to my making the appointment, and prior to my setting time aside to drive to your office that consequently caused great delay and most probably a reschedule of my appointment to your office. The operative word here is "PRIOR TO MY VISIT". It seems as though your office is very proficient in making sure that I will be there at my scheduled appointment time, text, voice mail, email and so on but they forgot to ask this vital question. You can say what you like but in my opinion it is incumbent on the doctor, whomever they are to update and review and be proactive in informing the patient prior to his or her visit that certain procedure protocol must be followed PRIOR TO THE VIIT, NOT AT THE TIME OF THE VISIT. Regardless of your opinion, my opinion will not change and I strongly suggest that you change your policy with regard to the "medical history" questions.

Hygienist Dianna & Dr. Gencarelli were outstanding. Front desk personnel of Chris & Wendy were polite, professional & informative. My one complaint is this "new" requirement that I pay 20% of my dental charges immediately after my visit. My son has been a patient at Feiler for approximately 11 years. My wife and myself have also become patients. During this time, I have always paid my bill upon receipt of an itemized breakdown of what I owe after my insurance company has submitted payment. I have never been delinquent with a single invoice nor have I ever been delinquent with a payment to any creditor. All three of my credit scores are currently north of 800. This is how I will continue to pay with Feiler. If this arrangement is unacceptable, I would welcome a call from Dr. Feiler. Thank you for your continued outstanding service.

I got a different hygienist, and had to wait over a half hour. I also was told I was getting a cleaning, Dr. Feiler came in, and told me same thing he had told me at nutley office. And then I was charged for a cleaning and a dental exam. I think that services should be explained better.

I did windup waiting for about 20 minutes past my appointment time but that really wasn't too big of a deal. However, my experience during with the cleaning was excellent! My hygienist was wonderful. Come to think of it, everyone in the office was extraordinary. They make going to the dentist a good experience and for a person like myself, that is incredibly important.

I was referred to the office by a friend who has serious dental work and was very impressed. I was so glad she told me about this place! Even though I used to be a dental assistant there is something always unnerving about being in the chair with the light in your face. The staff was patient and kind. They ALL went out of their way to make sure I was nothing less then totally comfortable. The massage therapist threw me off a little since I am used to doctor/dentists offices being uncomfortable to say the least. It was a welcome surprise and the best distraction a patient could ask for.I couldn't be happier and am looking forward to going back in a few week for my next appointment.

Dear Dr. Feiler, I missed seeing Christy with the hand massage. Note, Diana took my blood pressure with the wrist device, before the Xrays/and cleaning;and it read 140/80. The top number sounded high and got my attention, but I felt pretty good, and was not under any stress to drive the hour to the office from Linden. At night I went to CVS and it was 111/79 with 75 pulse rate. I feel a lot better now; as it was on my mind. I think its great to do the BP; but maybe just consider tuning up the device as the accuracy seems off a bit on the systolic measurement? After I was seen by the doctor who said nothing other than what I knew before, I was told that the office doesn't participate with my insurance and I was charged $275 for office visit that I am very unhappy about. I feel that I was cheated and tricked into an office visit payment, and if I were told that the office does not participate with my insurance prior to seeing the doctor, I would have walked out without having to pay any fees.

Although that was not a problem I would have liked the opportunity to make that decision. Also, the dentist did not introduce herself and made comments about my previous dental x-ray that contradict my own dentist decision from my last visit. So now they want me to come back again for another visit wit my own dentist to discuss her findings when I already did this with my dentist at the last checkup. I'm confused, and do not wish to change dentists at anytime in the future.

Eventually I located the entrance. I would suggest you install a sign on the back or side of your building to identify which building is yours. I have been Dr. Levine's patient for almost 20 years. I have never met a dentist so dedicated to his patients. I will never forget that I called him in the middle of the night (on a Saturday) due to a horrible tooth infection (I was 9 months pregnant and my c-section was scheduled 4 days later). On Sunday morning, Dr. Levine opened his office to see me and when he determined that I needed surgery, he contacted a specialist who returned from a family outing (thanks again, Dr. Levine) and performed my surgery Sunday afternoon. Dr. Levine's care, approachability, professionalism and real concern for his patients have shown me that there are still dedicated professionals for whom their patients are not just a number to forward on a form to an insurance company.

I really liked the physician. He provided a comprehensive evaluation and outlined his recommendation. However, the follow-up after the visit was poor. With as many staff that sits at the front desk it took at least 20 to 25 minutes after I finished seeing the physician to give me a quote. The practice operates with an electronic health record, so there should be no reason that the sales wrap-up takes this long. This person should never have to see the physician, this should be clear from his notes as I heard him provide clear directions to the medical scribe entering into the system. I hope the front desk warms up some and makes the next steps in the process enjoyable. (Or at least to the extent possible.)

June is a great hygienist, one of the best around. The only thing I wish she would communicate with me more effectively. For example, on Saturday, she didn't explain to me why I had to go back for two molar replacements (I had to question her) and she didn't even ask me when the next appt would be best for me (she decided the next appt for me without even checking with me whether I am available for this date/time). Other than "lack of effective communication" June is one of the best hygienists around!

I went to the dentist a month ago before without knowing my financial responsibility and left upset. I returned yesterday and was greeted -but the receptionist told the manager that Ali told her to make sure she got the co-payment from me 'first'. I was a tad offended by that statement. I had a good experience with Dr. Levine however, I believe Allison was intentionally using one of the tools in a manner I didn't particularly appreciate. I also saw her stratch her scalp with one of the tools before she put in my mouth! (Opposite end, but still). I'm happy with Dr. Levine but not sure I will return to the practice.

My first visit was fine. Although I thought the dentist Dr. Levine was fine, I didn't particularly think he was quite friendly. Didn't introduce himself-- I just had to say, wait don't you want to ask about me-- what my problems are, etc. But all in all he was fine. This last visit was not so good. I had a cleaning which was fine, more than fine, very good. But your office staff is such that I don't know if I will return to your practice. The first time I was there, having filled out five pages of questions on line, I was told that I hadn't!! Of course the person found them-- she just hadn't looked for the right name. This last visit, I finished the cleaning and went out to pay. The same person who hadn't found my questionnaire the first time, told me to go into a small room and wait. I asked why. She said that's what you have to do. I went into the room, having no clue why I was there, waited four minutes or so and then got up and left. Now run out of space!

Before coming to this location I was a patient of Dr. Levine in Fort Lee. It's no wonder he would become an associate of such a wonderful office enviroment. The administrative team, the technician, and the dentist were all great. But I was more than mildly annoyed by the policy of not scheduling the cleaning on the same day as the x-rays and assessment. I do not have a lot of time, and was positive I would not end up needing the intensive cleaning, but they would not let me do everything in one trip. I understand why this policy exists, but no rule should ever be set in stone. So, overall satisfied, but really would have preferred to save myself the second trip. Thanks.

I think Dr. Feiler is an excellent dentist and definitely is knowledgeable. However, I sometimes feel he doesn't communicate my dental situation with me as much as I would like and I either have to ask questions or leave thinking I should have asked more questions. There have been times I have waited a very long time to be seen. The office staff is extremely nice, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

I avoided going to the dentist for many years as i hated it. After having Dr Cannavo and your staff take care of me i can acutaly almost say i enjoy seeing your staff. Dr Cannavo made me feel calm and relaxed through the first several cavities. Dr Karraker was also amazing while havign to performe a root canal. I am some one who hates needles but as i said your staff almost made it so i enjoyed them. Your front office staff was amazing when i was worried i would not be able to afford the procedures needed. At no point did they ever say not like other pratices would have, they worked out a payment plan that i could afford and never put pressure on me. I have sent three of my friends to your practice and plan on sending many more.

I would readily recommend Dr. Feiler for his expertise and manner. He is meticulous and thorough, and spends the time necessary to make a patient feel comfortable and well cared for. Also, I have never had such a thorough cleaning of my teeth as I have had in Dr. Feiler's office. The staff is pleasant, but we have had problems with scheduling (unable to accommodate us--even though our limited schedule was discussed ahead of time, several cancellations by the office, etc.). We have also experienced delays because of wrong or faulty aligners--refitting and reordering had to be done, and it became a hassle. Communication within the office seems to be a problem. I ran in to pick up aligners that we were told were in the office, but when I got there, no one seemed to know where they were, and I spent close to half an hour waiting while they figured things out. If the scheduling/communication/office efficiency were improved, I would unhesitatingly recommend Dr. Feiler's practice.

I wish the pricing would be reviewed prior to treatment....$790.00 for two fillings put me in cardiac arrest espeially since I have a $1000 to use yearly....I also asked if assignment was acceptable payment and the answer was NO.....Being a nurse in the medical field and work in a specialty practice we always accepts what ins pays especially if payment is decent.....Managed care has not hit the dental world...Curtious and caring were the team that worked on me...It was a much more pleasant experiance than my last office visit with Dr. Gancarelli... Before my next visit I will need to discuss pricing ...Thank you....

I think Dr. Feiler is very knowledgeable and an excellent dentist. However, I do find that he doesn't always explain everything going on and he often mumbles and I'm not sure whether he's talking to me or to himself. I would like him to be more communicative with me - the patient. While this visit was quick, I often wait a VERY long time for him to see him.

Her efforts help get approval yesterday so that x-rays could be taken and that Dr Gincarilli (please my spelling, I apologize) could verify and confirm that I have 3 cavities, and that a treatment plan could get started. I really appreciaite her effort as well as Dr G's Please express sincere than you to both of them for their help yesterday (August 20, 2012) and their concern. The only thing that dismayed me this time was that I was not informed in advance that he was no longer BCBS par. The economics of this change may force me to seek the care of another dentist, but I will wait to see how my insurance covers his charges.
