Dr Dawn Bearden specializes in Primary Care Optometry. She does evaluations for cataracts, retinal disease and Laser Surgery. Dr Bearden also performs contact lens evaluations and fittings for a wide variety of contact lenses - for astigmatism, toric, bifocal, multifocal, color contacts, RGP, daily contacts, monovision and more.

Dr Dawn Bearden is a Florida Board Certified Optometrist that has been in practice in South Florida for more than 16 years. She has residency training in Primary Care Optometry and Laser Ophthalmic Procedures. She has served as an adjunct faculty member - teaching Optometry at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. She is a laser certified optometrist who previously directed 2 laser vision centers. She has also served as a Senior Examiner for the National Board of Optometry. Dr Bearden is originally from South Jersey. She attended Loyola College in Baltimore, MD and graduated in 1989. She completed her Doctorate at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry - graduated in 1995 and completed her post-Doctorate residency at Northeastern State University - graduating in 1996.
