I love having the front desk staff always greet you hello (and goodbye) and offer a beverage, it is wonderful. (Even though you aren't going to drink coffee before being seen by the dentist..) It is one of the reasons I chose Dental Partners after choosing the dentist/service.

Best Dental work I've ever had! Dr. Mojica does a phenomenal job with her reconstructive work. The technicial who did my cleaning mentioned they looked awesome! And they feel great - I can't even tell I have a temporary crown in place.

Beautiful office space and highly competent friendly staff. On another note, I think you should have a box for suggestions. 1. the assistant to Dr. Mujica had bad hallitosis 2. the dental hygienist used topical benzocaine for my ultrasonic cleaning and with the usage of the device with the water spray the local anesthetic migrated down my throat causing airway irritation and couging/choking. As an anesthesiologist I think you need to warn people with the use of topical it may be swallowed causing a numb throat or in my situation irritation to my vocal cords.

In regards to questions # 3 thye doctor somewhat explained the financial options but it was brief and did the doctor did not seem extremely confident in the information he was providing. I know this is going to be expensive and my insurance will cover some of it but that is about it.

Frustrating Experience — Kyle M.
I had three appointment rescheduled some at the last minute. The receptionists were really nice about it but it was very frustrating. I also felt as if I was being steered towards more expensive procedures without a discussion of costs. I was told I needed procedures I had never been told about before at other dentists but that might be a function of having better/more specialized dentists that I have been used to.

I had broken a part off the back of my tooth but wasn't sure whether it was filling or tooth. Dr. Taneja took pictures, showed me what my tooth looked like and explained what had happened, explained my options and then worked through lunch to make sure I had a temporary crown that day!

As soon as I walked through the doors I felt like a celebrity! I was greated by the friendly staff and did not have to wait long to see my dentist. It was the best dental experience I've ever had and I have told all my family and friends about dbp. Great experience and the level of professionalism was excellent. I am a client for life!

The dentist was well versed and explained the course of treatment. The support staff for finances, although pleasant in manner, was not competent. It was never suggested to me or otherwise explained all of the insurance options I might have. As a result, I missed the opporunity to sign up for insurance at work which would have reduced the cost to me by $2,000. That said, the access to the latest equipment and the quality of the dental treatment itself is very good.

I have never had a more thorough examination and cleaning as the one I had at Boston Dental Partners. I really left the office with a clear understanding of the health of my teeth and gums. I appreciate the amount of time Doctor Taneja spent with me, I've felt very rushed at other Denist's Offices.

Please note that my "average" experience is due to the lack of clarity regarding the practice's financial options and cost. My specific visit with Dr. Cardenas was excellent. She is a fantastic doctor, and I was very impressed with her. I was told I would not be charged for any xray taken during my first visit, yet just yesterday I received a bill for this service in the mail. Additionally, when I called and asked about the price of the consultation, I was informed that it was fully covered by my dental insurance. Needless to say, I am incredibly disappointed in how the situation has been handled. Lastly, when the financial options were explained to during my first visit, at no point was it made clear that my insurance plan had a cap on coverage. The only thing I was told was the coverage percentage for my plan per procedure. I feel I was misled and although I have contacted the office about this, I have not yet heard back. I'd give 20 stars to Dr. Cardenas, but 1 star for the practice generally because this really put a damper on my experience.
