From the moment I called to schedule a new pt appt through completion of my appt, the staff, tech, doctor and technician were all kind, knowledgeable, welcoming, efficient and professional. They took the time to answer all my questions. I have been a contact lens wearer for 30 years and the doctor shared info about new options that maybe I was unaware of. She let me make the final decision..no pressure. Best eye care facility I have ever been to. Highly recommend!

The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient, and the clinical staff made me feel like they've known me forever. Dr. Aaseby took her time with me to ensure we didn't miss a thing. Honestly, I was very, very impressed and happy with this eye clinic. Highly recommend!

The young man doing most of the vision tests, Mitch, seemed to be very knowledgeable and friendly but evidently wrote down my new prescription wrong but fortunately Dr. Aron caught the error, when going over what Mitch put in the computer, before the actual prescription was given to me. I also was impressed that Mitch caught that my pupils were such that I shouldn't be dilated but have the other test that takes a picture of the inside of my eye ball.

I came in unannounced due to an eye injury, having looked up the clinic online. They claimed to specialize in urgent eye care as well as regular eye care services. I was not disappointed! The staff was extremely helpful and professional. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and I felt like every one of my concerns was addressed. They even sent me a separate letter with additional information for my VA claim! This clinic is now my permanent choice for all of my eye care needs, and I will highly recommend it to anyone who asks.

I was told by my daughters pediatrician she should see and eye doctor. She is 2 so I expected this to be a major pain and it really wasn't. The office staff was very friendly and understanding. They didn't push my daughter who has major stranger danger fears into anything. The doctor made the exam fun and showed my daughter there wasn't anything to be afraid of. Very kid friendly!

A great experience, I have a very strong prescription and am over 50, so I need a really good optometrist, and can be difficult to fit. Dr. Piranio took extra time, everyone was extremely helpful, including adding a lot about how to deal with my recently diagnosed Blepharitis. Switching to glasses has been especially tricky, and with my kind of prescription it means a lot to have an optometrist who knows what they're doing without relying solely on an "assembly line" approach. This clinic has also been great for working with me financially in the past, and is supportive for follow up, they put their patients' needs first.

Pamela and Aron were great and the new gal who was being trained was the sweetest! Her name escapes me. I love the friendly atmosphere. I had my first visit here very recently and I wish I would have known about this place a long time ago. The doctors took all of the time they needed to diagnose my vision and they also took their time to make sure I understood everything they were doing. The doctors were very thorough and explained everything in great detail. The staff at the front desk both greeted me with smiles and asked if I needed anything. I was really nervous about visiting the eye doctor because it had been at least three years since my last visit, and every time I have had my eyes checked, it was a bad experience. This was the best visit yet. I will definitely refer this place to people needing to see the optometrist.

While I appreciated the thorough exam and great staff (as usual), I would have scheduled the appointment for another time had I known.

I'm still shocked at the wonderful service I received at this eye doctor. I had called my normal eye doctor and three others before walking into this one when I saw it by my doctors office. I was in a panic because of a floater (my first) on my eye and swelling. They took me in and fit me inbetween the patients with actual appointments. It was a back and forth but...unbelievably amazing for me. I was willing to wait! Even though they had to shuffle me around.. my fears were taken seriously. I've never felt SO cared for in an office before... offered drinks, things were explained, I felt...immense relief because of this office. THANK YOU!

We moved back to the PNW last year after being gone for almost 10 years. Instead of seeking my Eye care from a provider in Kitsap County, I decided to return under Dr. Connie's care. Not sure of the distance between Bremerton & Lacey, nor do I care about the Narrows bridge toll. Dr. Connie has provided the best "care" of any medical provider that I have seen to date (along time!). The only thing I left with that was not as awesome was the rest was when looking at glasses to purchase the level of service seemed to drop a lot and I didn't feel as warm and fuzzy. This may also have been caused by me not being able to see so great after the drops.

I love the new location! All staff were nice and professional. I was pleasantly surprised that my breastfeeding was taken into consideration when given free retina image screening. I was also very pleased with the woman who helped me choose glasses. She was very knowledgeable about benefits and selected pairs of frames for me to try that she thought would fit my style and face. I came in because a different eye doctor had given me prescription glasses that I thought were the wrong prescription for me. The doctor at the office gave me a thorough exam and examined my existing glasses and in fact they were the wrong prescription for me. They actually listened to me and found out what was wrong. I left confident knowing the prescription glasses they ordered for me were correct.

I did not know what to expect. But filling out the patient forms online days before the actual appointment date was very helpful. The Kuerig coffee and mints are a very appealing thing to pass the time when I first came in. I was helped Immediately as soon as I entered the door. Waiting was not more than 6 min. The professionals were very eager to answer questions that I had. To help me learn and feel comfortable. I did not feel pressure to buy glasses when the exam was over and diagnosis was complete. The optician was awesome, too...smiling, polite, patient, and she explained what she was doing and why. My exam by Dr.Piranio was great. She is thorough and took time to explain results and answer my questions. The technician who assisted me in finding the perfect pair of frames and lenses is Super! She took all the time required to explain my different insurance/discount financial options. I am happy with my choice and can't wait to receive my new glasses.

Great visit and your clinic is excellent. I left the building at about 11 a.m. I DID get a strange call from your bookkeeper/accounting person about an hour later. She informed me that I had an overdue account from 2013, which was for $85. However, I had never been in your office until yesterday, August 25th at 10 a.m. I informed her that I was not the person she was looking for. She didn't seem to want to take that answer, and went on for a very extended period of time, asking me more and more questions. At one point she asked me about my Bellevue address, and if that was incorrect (I've lived in Lacey for 40 years, and told her that). She still would not listen and kept asking me more and more questions, while I told her that I was NOT the person she was looking for. It was VERY odd and exasperating. I finally told her that I was going to say good-bye, because I had not more time to talk to her. What the heck?

I understand that my insurance does not cover contact lens exams, however, I was unaware that exams are good for two years. The doctor performed the exam even though I didn't need it (since I just had one last year). As a result I paid for something that didn't need to be done. I felt like this was poor business and medical practice.

I am sincerely sorry for your experience and that you felt it was not explained to you thoroughly during your exam, normally our technicians and doctors are fantastic at explaining the procedures being done and charges to be billed. You were charged an existing exam contact lens update because your prescription changed. We normally will try and perform yearly contact lens exams for our regular contact wearers to make sure that your eye continues healthy. The Contact Lens Exam is not part of a routine eye exam. If nothing would have changed with your prescription or you would have opted to not change your contacts you would have not been charged the exam. This is a very normal practice in most eye clinics. I do always encourage to call our office and speak with billing if you ever have any questions about what was charged. I hope that your last visit does not discourage you from returning to our office, and hope to see you next year for your exam.

I seem, somehow, to end up with very expensive glasses, whereas my wife seems to have really no cost; under the $200. I am thinking it must be the type of prescription I get that adds to my costs, but then I notice I chose a $330 frame while my wife chose a $170 frame. So I am not so sure why I choose such expensive glasses. That confuses me a little. Maybe I am not such a good glasses shopper. I did order a regular glasses and subscription sunglasses so I would expect my cost to be up. But I still don't quite understand how my regular glasses end up so expensive. But that is my problem and not a result of anything your office is doing. I really felt all your staff were very kind and friendly and helpful. I can see why my wife liked your clinic so much.

I was told that there would be a %20 reduction, but then was told after my transaction that it didn't apply because I used my own frames for my regular glasses. Feel like that should have been explained more thoroughly in the beginning, because I might have opted to do it differently.

I did not want to take the chance and drive myself back home so I opted to have a photo of my eyes taken with the extra charge if $29.00. My only suggestion would be to have the person scheduling the appointment explain the policies and make them aware of their options.

Would like an itemized receipt of charges. $780 for two sets of lenses (reused old frames) seems quite high, but with no receipt I don't know what I was charged for.

You do need to get this website figured out so DR. JESSICA GADDY doesn't keep coming up! When I first received that for a reminder, I contacted you to change my appointment, because MY appointment was with Dr. Piranio. This is very misleading...

Hello Karen, We had a glitch in our system that was putting Jessica Gaddy as the Dr. and I am actually the office manager. We now have this information corrected and it should not happen again. Thank you for your feedback!

Besides the staff not introducing themselves to me (the mother) one staff was very opinionated about what frames looked best on my daughter. At one point my daughter pointed to frames and the staff said, "No, those won't look good on you". While I appreciated how much time she took to assist my daughter in picking out frames, I was put off by how she imposed her opinion.
