Now I don't spider veins its been replaced with a ugly dark vein. On last visit I was told there's nothing we can do about it. I didn't have the dark vein until the procedure was done to remove the spider veins. The reason for my visits to the clinic was to remove the spider veins, not replace the spider veins with something that looks just as bad or worse. I don't have a lot of money, to do something cosmetic is big for me. I'm disappointed and feel that the procedure wasn't done correct. The spider veins are gone, thanks, I was left with another problem and then told there is nothing we can do about?

There was a little mix-up in communication between the office staff and the doctor about what I wanted done during my appointment. It was okay, though. My account was credited for the overage I was charged and I will use it another time.

Re #7 - Information packet regarding phlebectomy and ablation could contain more information, i.e. it's okay to eat prior to appointment, ablation site painful for 1-2 weeks. When I called the staff was very courteous and helpful but I wouldn't have had to bother them if I had known "what was normal." Overall my experience was very pleasant and I am pleased I had the procedures.

All in all, my experience was just fine. The paperwork you sent me asked that I arrive 15 minutes early, which I did. But since my appointment was at 8:00, I had to wait for 15 minutes before you opened. Not really a problem but I thought I would bring it to your attention in caase you want to change the information you mail to patients.

The only thing is that I would have come in at 2 weeks after my vein procedure if I would have known that the hard lumps could have been removed easier at that time, rather than waiting for the 4 week appointment. I didn't know to look for those, or I would have called. :) But other than that, I am super-pleased with the whole experience!

Prior to my actual appointment I had a telephone conversation with Carla regarding insurance questions I had. We discussed my insurance in detail and she was extremely helpful and very patient in answering my questions. This made me feel very reassured before my visit. The day of my consultation, Dr. Jimenez explained the procedure and my condition in detail. I never felt rushed. Appreciate the entire experience, thank you.

Since it was my second visit, and the first one caused me to bruise badly, I brought my own ice pack. The first visit, I was given a single ice cube wrapped in gauze. I also stopped taking my baby aspirin twice a day (as ordered by my primary care doctor). This time, I didn't bruise nearly as bad. So, I would say the Medical Spa should suggest to patients they stop taking aspirin for at least a week before their appointments. And also, the Medical Spa could give the patients free ice packs that have more coverage, even if it's only 5 or 6 ice cubes in Ziploc bag.

The temperature of proceedure room either needs to be warmer or tell the patient that they may want to wear a sweater or sweatshirt during the proceedure. You might want to let the patient know before time how many numbing shots are involved. On second thought, maybe that should be a suprise. The doctor and staff were geat. Keeping me informed of what the cost would be, and giving good information for what to expect during recovery. During the procedure I was also gently told of when the ouchy part would occur. On your commercial the spokes model says the proceedure is fast and pain free. I would not exactly say that it is pain free, but it is moderately tolerable. :) Even though time has not elasped enough to see complete results. I have seen enough positive results that I would recommend the procedure. For new services, I would be interested if there were some kind of service or treatment for people diagnosed with Raynaulds.

So VERY pleased, I am coming in on 8/31 to have work done on my face.(tip of nose, the VERY first thing people see!) If I didn't feel confident in Dr. Jimenez's competency and caring attitude, I would NEVER have booked this appointment. I consulted with another plastic surgeon about this same issue in 8/08, and did NOT persue. I am SO very relaxed and excited to have this procedure done by Dr. Jimenez. CANNOT WAIT!! (Need fillers for future work, so will DEFINITELY attend his Fall soiree to see if I can possibly be lucky enough to win any discounts on the procedures.)

I was told medicare did not cover my situation. I am in a new state from previous attention, and all Dr.'s do not accept medicare. letting that pass without asking for specifics the next explanation was " unless the causes were sdevere i.e. pain or swelling no attention would be given". I consider this sort of a mixed message without enunciated clear definitions. I needed the finishing of what my original problem was when interupted by flood. I have been the "heavy hose route" and was looking for prevention methods to keep my few spider viens from increasing in size before i aged more . Or, given the age problem not where i couldn't have it delt with. I eat well, have general good health, and walk 3 times a week for good circulation. Not a poor representive for help, but an outstanding one. The Dr. may have more pressing candidates which I respect as his choice to eliminate others. Cost is always a problem. It was never discussed. I was ushered out faster than I was in.

I, personally, don't do TV but know others who have seen your advertisement. -great comments regarding. Procedure was explained in explicit terms, so I could understand. All the staff were great- very nice, courteous (not condecending) and helpful. All seemed very young, though, which may be Doctor's handiwork, but youth can intimidate us 50+ and fading when confronted with reality. Is anyone on staff over 50? If not, why not? Just a question...

I did hear a couple of people talking about the chairs in the waiting room. They stated that they were not very comfortable and especially not for short people.

My visit was a follow-up on the Cool Sculpting procedure — JODI M.
My visit was a follow-up on the Cool Sculpting procedure. Unfortunately, I was unable to see any visible results, but Dr. Jimenez said I might see improvement over the next 2 months as I still had a lot of inflammation in the treated areas. There was no return appointment suggested, so I assumed that I would not be seen again for this. I felt a bit disappointed in the fact that there would be no re-checking for results and no comment on the fact that I had spent a great deal of money and had no results (although I understood there was no guarantee when I opted for the treatment).

My surgery went great. The recovery has gone great also. Only suggestion would be to put some sort of neosporin or something on the gauze before it is taped over the little incision sites. It ends up sticking to the incision areas and hurts to remove. I just think that would help. Everything was great!!!

During my surgeries the doctors and assistants were talking to me and themselves telling stories, I never even noticed the surgery was really even going on. Thank you very much for keeping things light. There were times when I was nervous about what to expect, but you and your staff did a great job of keeping things light and friendly.

I came in for treatment of my spider veins. I would like to compliment Jennfier. She was very professional. She made me feel at ease and kept me as comfortable as possible with her conversation. She is an asset to your office and I would like to thank her for her treatment of me! I would like to come in for further spider vein treatments, but the $500 I paid for the first treatment was alot for me out of pocket. I know that spider vein treatment is considered cosmetic and that insurance is not billed. I thought that payment in full was expected at each treatment. Your staff was great. There were a couple of things that I would have liked to see handled differently, however, in regards to charges. No one told me beforehand how much the ultrasound charges were. When I was checking out, I asked how much the charges were for that day. That was the first that I had been told that the ultrasound was $600! First of all, I feel that charge is very high. I think those charges should be revealed before the procedure is done, out of fairness to the patient. It bothers me that one charge is turned in to the insurance, but I am told that is not what I will be billed for. As far as the projected charges given to me for the actual procedures, I feel that those charges are also very high. I understand that you might not be able to tell me exactly what the charge is before it is actually done, however, with 4 different figures being presented to me, it is confusing. Even with insurance, I need to know more exact figures to see if I can afford this.

I had large varicose veins that ran along my left knee and it would start to ache after standing for a long period of time. Once, I had fallen onto my left knee and popped a varicose vein and it bruised immediately and caused pain. Dr. Jimenez and his staff were wonderful. I approached Indiana Vein & Laser Center with a bit of apprehension and anxiety, not knowing what to expect or what my diagnosis would be. After my initial consultation with Dr. Jimenez, I felt comfortable enough to schedule the two procedures. On the first treatment day, during the prep time, I was introduced to the two nurses assisting the doctor. I was extremely impressed with both Rikki's and Michelle's career histories. Their experiences in the field made me very comfortable and at ease. And once Dr. Jimenez began the treatment, although I jabbered throughout, I was not nervous in the traditional way one might be nervous. I knew without a doubt that I was in very competent hands. Pain? Not really. I felt nano seconds of discomfort, but certainly nothing I would call true pain. The second treatment day was a much quicker one, and I was not nervous at all. And even though I was attended to by a new assistant, Jennifer, I was again quickly put at ease. I have already recommended the facility to several friends if they ever find the need for Dr. Jimenez's expertise. I will not hesitate to continue recommending him, nor seeing him again if I need to. Dr. Jimenez and his entire staff made me feel welcome, comfortable and explained the process every step of the way! I injured my left leg over 38 yrs ago when sliding down a ladder that slipped on my patio.The bruises on my leg soon turned into varicose veins when jogging one day. For all the following years, I wore long tight support hose to help relieve my aching and tired leg. I was embarrassed to wear shorts (socks & pants) to the gym or even when riding a bike.
