I have had the good fortune of having Dr. John J. Guarracino as my dentist for the last ten years!! My daughter recommended Dr. Guarracino when I was trying to find a local dentist. He has taken care of my entire family, down to my grandchildren. Any procedure I have had, Dr. Guarracino takes the time to explain the treatment and also explains the pros and cons. His staff is extremely helpful and he has a great rapport with Marsha, his Dental Hygienist, who makes me feel very comfortable, and explains everything she is doing. I recommend Dr. Guarracino highly!!

When the dentist I really liked for 25 years retired I tried two other dentists that did not work out for me. Then I found Dr. John. He is exactly what I was looking for. The entire staff at Guarracino DDS is fantastic. They are friendly, helpful and courteous. And of course John is a great dentist and realistic in that he doesn't push unnecessary procedures on you like a lot of the dentists do in today's world. If you're looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Guarracino. Great dentist, and a fantastic staff as well! Very organized, efficient, on the ball, on schedule, have been able to get in for a last-minute issue. The doctor even called me himself when the state shut everything down at the start of the pandemic! Needless to say, even that was impressive, that it wasn't "beneath" him to do that! I've not had great experiences with dentists, especially when I was younger, which led me not to go for a significant part of my younger adult life. That's obviously a horrible idea, so eventually I started going again. When we moved to the area, we tried another place or two and they were all about maxing out insurance payments. Then we found Dr. John and everyone in the family goes to see him and his staff. Whether it's regular treatments or emergencies/things that need fixing, it's a great place to go.

If you're looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Guarracino! Even if you haven't thought of changing, I say change! It's a very professionally run office, considerate of others' time by being efficient and prompt - two extremely important topics to me! In addition, he and his staff are very personable! What really, really impressed me was when Dr. Guarracino called me personally the evening before the state shut down due to COVID-19! There is not a doubt in my mind that most doctors/dentists did not do that and, instead, delegated that task to office staff. In addition, we received regular updates via email about the status of the state. You're also able to watch TV while you have your teeth cleaned! Definitely helps to pass the time instead of staring at the ceiling!

I’m a new patient and am very impressed with all aspects of the practice. I have had multiple problems lately and they always fit me in on same day. Just moved here not long ago and had a bad experience with first dentist. Dr. John fixed previous work done by previous dentist and I’m pretty pain free after months of pain. He’s very gentle and patient and cares that you are comfortable and feeling better when you leave than when you arrived. He even called me on a weekend. Not something too many Drs.do. The staff are all friendly and helpful. My daughter decided to go to Dr. John too and really liked the Dr. and everyone too.

A fantastic practice. They got me an appointment the same day I called, took me into the patient room immediately and worked diligently with me. The most gentle cleaning I've ever had by a lovely hygienist, and the doctor, John Guarracino, is honest and professional. Hygienist and doctor both had a great bedside manner, made me feel like family. The secretary also wrote down my insurance information to make sure I had access to it, since my employer never sent me any of the information. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately I have had 2 bad experiences with dentists. This simply wasn’t the case with Dr. John. He kept me well informered of costs and any procedures needed in advance. The care and bedside manor are top notch and I never felt as if I was being misguided. He’s a fair guy who cares about you and always has your best interested in mind, not the other way around.

I started seeing Dr. John in 2006 around the time he first opened his practice. I needed a lot of fillings but he was great and spaced out my appointments. I never felt any discomfort (and I usually do!) His chairs are equipped with cable TV and he endures watching anything you want to, even if it's Spongebob or Gilmore Girls. I've enjoyed his office so much that when I moved back to the area (after being gone for six years) I went back to seeing Dr. John. I can't recommend him enough. He will be the only dentist I ever see - I hope he never leaves!

Love Dr. G! He's fresh, forward-thinking, and the guy who other dentists go to for their own treatments. After moving I had to find a new dentist. I tried one in my area, but did not like the aggressive treatment plan she advised. When I asked a dental specialist who I might consider, Dr. G. was referred to me. I've now had three visits with Dr. G. over about 18 months and like his work and professionalism very much. I have been going to Dr. John for many years and am quite happy with his practice. He always greets me with a smile and handshake. He speaks to me about my dental situation as if I'd seen him the day before and he remembered all about it. His staff is pleasant and friendly. The receptionist always greets me by name when I arrive. I seldom have to wait for my appointment to start, they maintain their schedule well and the visits are quick but thorough. Most people dread going to the dentist. Dr. G's office is a pleasure to visit.

Dr. John is excellent. Unlike other dentists I've been to, he's very personable, approachable and professional. When he asks 'How are you', he sincerely means it. I broke a couple teeth and when I was very nervous that it could've been something else going on, he was very reassuring and explained how, why and what was going on. His explanations are simple and understandable. The dental hygienists' and staff are fantastic! Friendly and accommodating. I've never had to wait long in the waiting room - 20 min max and that was because an emergency came in. Speaking of emergencies, he's always willing to see you and fit you in last minute. love this office and will continue to go to Dr. John for all my future dental needs.

I have to say I am very impressed with Dr. Guarracino! I've been to several dentists and have had horrible experiences, which have caused more damage to my teeth and me to have extreme anxiety about my teeth. As is with most people, going to the dentist isn't something I look forward to. That said I have never had a bad experience at Dr. Guarracino even when I have had to have a filling replaced. The staff is always helpful and pleasant, the appointments run on time, and the office is clean and neat. I would recommend this dental office to anyone. I appreciate that they all make going to the dentist a good experience.

The entire staff was so wonderful and friendly. We were actually in and out faster than our appointment scheduled time. I bring my 4 children twice a year and never have to wait. I'm always so pleased. It's been 10 years now. Actually, I moved to Florida a year and a half ago but still make sure to keep coming when I am in town. Another friendly greeting, review of the x-rays taken, followed by an examination. All was well and I was on my way in less than an hour.

This is the best dentist office I have ever dealt with. They go out of their way to make things easier for you. When I first started going to this Clifton Park office my kids had appointments on different days. They called my insurance and I was able to get them scheduled on the same day and time. Over the past eight to ten years that has saved me a lot of time and money. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I refer people every chance I get to this office. The best anywhere.
