I could not have been happier about my total experience at Dr. Lenz's office. He and the whole staff were professional and courteous. I got my two upper wisdom teeth extracted and it was quick and painless. I would recommend Lenz Family Dental to all friends and family that need dental care. Kristen did an excellent job of cleaning my teeth. She was very thorough but gentle. She talked to me about my soda drinking habits and showed me some areas of my mouth it was affecting. I really appreciate that.

I love Becca and Dr Lenz. They are patient and understanding. I did not prefer the lab guy putting his hands in my mouth with what looked like dirty gloves. I believe he talked on his cell phone with the same gloves he put in my mouth. That made me very uncomfortable.

I have to say that I was very disappointed that my chart wasn't read ahead of time regarding my life-threatening latex allergy. It is now a full-day later and I am still having breathing issues because of the latex glove used inside my mouth while conducting my exam.

My experience was great from the time I entered the office. I was greeted imediatly by Jennifer as soon as I walked in the door. She was very polite and friendly. Stephanie did my cleaning and was great. She was very professional and polite. I had chipped my front tooth 4 days before my appointment and they made arrangements for me to have it fixed the same day as my cleaning. Dr. Lenz was awesome and before fixing my front tooth explained exactly what he was going to do before he started. I was VERY pleased with the work he did. This was my first visit to Lenz Family Dental and because of the great service, friendly and knowledgable staff I will be a patient for life. If you are looking for great dental care Lenz Family Dental is the place to go. Thanks Dr. Lenz and staff

Great practice. Very nice staff. Very welcoming. The dental assistan I had was very "talky". Ao much so that she stopped working on me so many times to tell stories that it took twice as long to get my check up done. Slightly unprofessional, but still very nice people.

Everyone was great!! I especially love that Dr. Lenz spends time with each patient and doesn't leave all the work to his assistants. He is also patient with our kids. We will not go any place else. Thanks for making a dentist appointment a little more pleasant!!

I knew Jennifer from a previous doctor and it was nice to see a familiar face, she was very welcoming and helpful and Becca and Dr Lenz were very cautious and and explained everything every step of the way. It made me feel very comfortable seeing as I am 6 months pregnant and was very concerned for me and my baby... I was very impressed with the facility and the staff.

I really liked the young woman who cleaned my teeth, but I had to ask her for her name (I think it was Deanna, but I often forget names as soon as I hear them). It would have been nice if she had introduced herself when she called me in. Otherwise she was terrific.

I was looking for a new dentist and came across Lenz Family Dental. When I called to make the appointment, the staff was friendly and the required paperwork was a breeze and super easy to complete online. At my appointment, I truly appreciated the time the dental hygienist took to make sure I understood why she was doing the different type of x-rays, using the different tools and addressing any concerns I had during the appointment. Dr. Lenz was very thorough and patient. He took the time to answer my questions and even took extra time to look further into a concern I had with my teeth. It was truly a great experience.

Stephanie is a great hygenist! Very personable, thorough and gentle. Dr. Lenz is very personable as well. He has a friendly personality and puts you at ease. The office is very modern, and the waiting room decor a soothing green. Since my teeth were in good shape I had no other services beyond x-rays, cleaning, and inspection. But I will definitely go back.

I would only recommended that when treating children, they are offered anesthetics ... hearing that you don't offer them any for fillings or tooth extractions was disheartening to this mom who doesn't like to see children in pain ...

I usually don't write reviews, but I had to share the experience of the wonderful first visit I had yesterday at Lenz Family Dental. Upon entering the clinic I felt like I was entering a stress-free environment. The decor and feel of the office is not so "clinical" which was very relaxing. As for the staff, they were very friendly and welcomed any questions I had. I saw Kristin (a dental hygienist) for a cleaning and she was amazing! She was very personable and caring. I really enjoyed visiting with her during my visit. Dr. Lenz was also very kind and very knowledgeable in regards to my TMJ condition. He didn't make me feel rushed during the exam and I felt the confidence in him that I like to see in my doctors. The whole experience went very smoothly; from appointment scheduling to check-out. In all my years of attending dentist appointments I have to say this was by far the best experience! I am now moving my entire family to the Lenz Family Dental Clinic.

Each time I have been to Lenz Dental I have received excellent care. The staff goes above and beyond! If there is ever an issue with my teeth everything is clearly explained and I feel that I am always well taken care of. Plus, you can watch tv while you get your teeth cleaned!

A friend had recommended Dr. Lenz as an affordable and honest dentist who only does what you actually need, not any "extra" stuff that some dentists try to do to make extra money. She was very impressed and and so I tried them out too. I had to have a tooth pulled and was very apprehensive as I have not had a good experience with my past couple dentists. Dr. Lenz and his team took their time and made sure that I was comfortable and pain free. My comfort and having a positive experience was their highest priority, and for that I am extremely greatful and would recommend them to everyone I meet! Thanks again!

I have the worse Dentist Office Anxiety ever. Growing up and in my adult years I have struggled to find a dentist that understood my fear and would slow down and help me out. After moving to Overland Park and having a tooth break off my parents directed me towards Dr. Lenz. I was so nervous going in. I was thinking what if they don't explain things, what if they ignore my concerns, what if (insert any fear here) I sat down and almost immediately someone was there talking to me, Handing me the remote and guide to your own personal television. After the initial exam Dr. Lenz came in to talk to me about my options, completely explaining everything in a way that I could understand. During the precedure my anxiety/frustrations got the best of me and I started crying in the chair. Dr. Lenz stopped what he was doing and took the time to make sure I was ok, and to see what he could do to make things better. It was a huge sigh of relief to have a Dentist actually care as opposed to handing you a tissue saying I can't work on your teeth if you're crying. I would recommend the Dr. Lenz team so highly there aren't enough stars to do it. Children, Teens, Young Adults, Everyone would have a great experience here. Everyone is so nice starting from the first time you walk in till when you leave. Try them out, you won't be disappointed.

I am a HUGE chicken when it comes to dental work. I had to have a root canal done they explained the procedure and kept stopping to make sure I was OK. I have never explained a dental visit as excellent, but that was my experience upon my first visit to Dr. Lenz. The entire staff was awesome! If your looking for a new dentist, look no further then Dr. Lenz

I have been looking for a new dentist and I have found one with Dr. Lenz. The atmosphere was very pleasant and professional. You are treated like you are part of the dental team with full explainations and complete understanding to everything that is performed on you. Not like some dentist who treat you like you are an outsider and perform a task and then let you find out what was done when your insurance sends a bill of explanation.

I am new to the area, and choosing a dentist can be a little overwhelming. I chose Lenz Family Dental because their website indicated that new technology is one of the best ways to manage good oral health. This was important to me. This office is still fairly new. The office is clean and modern. Dr. Lenz himself did my cleaning, which was a pleasant surprise. You leave feeling refreshed and well taken care of. I would high recommend this practice. I am very satisfied.

This was the first time my 4 year old had to have actual dental work besides just an exam or routine cleaning. Dr. Lenz was great explaining the procedure to me and my daughter. She felt totally comfortable and at ease. He was done very quickly! The bonus was he allowed her twin brother to sit in the chair with her for moral support! I have been searching for a new dentist for quite some time and I was very pleased with my experience. Truthfully I am not fond of going to the dentist, however my perspective has changed. I am so glad I found this dental office! The facility is new, clean and modern. There are tv's everywhere, including in each room so you can watch tv while they are working on your teeth. Bonus points: they move the tv so that it is directly over you while they work on your teeth. If you have sensitive teeth, like I do, you need to go to Dr. Lenz. He is very considerate of this and is very careful to make it as comfortable as possible, even during a root canal. For those going in for just a basic cleaning, you still need to go to Dr. Lenz. He performs the cleaning himself, so you know the work is thorough. He talks to you-- not at you, addressing any concerns you may have. Furthermore, although he has been doing this for years, he just started his own practice so getting an appointment that fits your schedule is easy. The staff is also very friendly; you are greeted with sincerity in person and on the phone. To sum it up, this was the best dental experience I have ever had.

I recently had my first visit with Dr. Lenz and his team at Lenz Family Dental. I'm approaching 50 years old, and I have never had a better experience at a dental practice. Dr. Lenz is the most "hands on" dentist I've ever visited, and his team is courteous and very helpful. If you're not a patient here, why not?
