From check-in to check-out I have always had a very positive experience. All staff are thoughtful and caring. My personal dentist there, Jim Ransdell, is like a second son. I actually have fun at my dentist's office and I don't believe many can claim that. Most of all I receive totally professional care and the staff and Jim take really good care of this 80-year-old woman's teeth.

I was thoroughly impressed with this Dental practice. I have had excellent dental care in the past and was skeptical about the dentist in Prescott. None of them want to take insurance. This office is very current with their technology, the staff is very pleasant and efficient, and they take insurance. My first visit was impressive. #1, the dentist recognized how great my previous dental care was which gave me an idea of what they expected. #2, This is my new dentist.

I had an emergency broken tooth causing me pain, enough to keep me up at night and affect my ability to eat. The first dentist I called wouldn't get me in for another month and a half. On recommendation from a coworker, I called here, and was able to be seen within a few hours. I was very impressed with the friendliness and professionalism thus far, and excited to have a doctor who not only listened to my concerns, but is already in troubleshooting mode for my longterm issues. They have quickly earned my loyalty!

Just before a long holiday, I needed to have a crown replaced. My long-time dentist was unavailable and had not arranged for emergency coverage by any other dentist. I would have to wait two weeks to see him. Instead, I contacted Mangum Dental. The crown was replaced the following day. The office was efficient, people were pleasant, and the procedure went well. Unlike my former dentist, Mangum accepted my insurance.

I was in pain, and needed a tooth extracted. After contacting several dentists that advertise "walk in", or emergency dental, I was relieved to find Magnum Dentistry would accommodate me. Doctor Snow and his assistant were very professional and friendly. The molar did not give up easily, but Doctor Snow took his time and finally the tooth came out with no pain at all. I am new to Prescott, and Mangum Dentistry will be my go to dentist

Appearance is a vital component of service, I am bent toward believing in “what you see is what you get” this office is clean, organized and comfortable. Coming from a dental background, I may have been extra adjudicating, but they passed with flying colors! The staff and doctor are knowledgeable, equipment and software are current, overall impression of humility, if they are not sure if the answer, they will go the extra mile to find out. That’s the definition of patient care.

Awkward experience checking in. Had to get temperature checked twice. The same happened to the person that arrived right after me. One staff member in front office was strange; lack of communication. I saw her roll her eyes at a patient while he was talking to her and leaving the waiting room??? Don't know what that was about but very unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. Staff and dentist very pleasant in back office. I had an excellent experience with them.

When my original appointment with cleaning and filling a tooth was cancelled due to the virus, the new appointment was supposed to include the filling but for some reason was not scheduled. The fill in tech did teeth cleaning which was rather painful.

I love to get my teeth cleaned, the two ladies who have worked on my are competent, pleasant and always so careful. The dentist listens to me. I had a crown replaced and did not want to be numb ( who likes shots??!) and he was so gentle and yet got the job done swiftly. No pain what so ever. The service was great but to pricey. He worked on me for 15 minutes and charged me $295. Way to much for me as a senior to pay. I checked with my local DR. and they charge$25 for one exray and $150 for filling one surface.

The VA sent me to Mangum Dental for a porcelain crown replacement on one of my front teeth. I have to say that I am very impressed with the courtesy and service there. Dr. Ransdell and his dental assistant Analisa are top notch. The crown came out beautiful and I am very pleased with the entire experience.

Where to begin... I had asked for a piece of an onlay to be glued back on a front top tooth. That was done, but the flossing between the tooth's sides was really painful and hard down into the gums. When Dr. Snow began assessing the other teeth in my mouth he kept flashing his fore-head light in my eyes and that was really disturbing to me (cataract surgery in both eyes the last 2 months after shingles in left for a year)... when I mentioned it in 'I me my statements' he stood up and said "I can't deal with you, I'm done here" and proceeded to walk out. ie, During this session of assessing my teeth, he was talking with his assistant behind me, and evidently didn't trust what she was writing down or some such, cuz he kept looking up at her, flashing his light in my eyes, going and coming, and my whole body would flinch each time, which he obviously didn't see. So I said something...opps... I've never had any dentist do that to me - walk out. I've had a lot of work done in my mouth over my 74 years, orthodontist/braces, removing a cord between my front top teeth, removing 4 back teeth, removing 4 teeth between the front and back teeth, and several apts to add the onlays to top front, with yearly apts for cleaning and multiple apts for crowns on back teeth, etc.(the last apt down in Wickenburg for 8 new crowns turned out awful - the bottom edges of crowns don't match my orig teeth roots and have holes everywhere, necessitating frequent picking/flossing - that is another issue I had to talk with Dr. Snow about... but that was it, he's done with me. I don't know if we'll be billed for all the xrays that were taken at this apt or not. I'd like to take those xrays to another dentist that is kinder to his patients and continue my work. Where are the good old guys who had perfected their tasks to the benefit of those concerned? Why are the assistants sat where they are? why not off to the side of patient?

I would say add a t.v for the waiting area but I arrived 30 minutes early. I filled out some paper work and very soon was seen, way before my appointment, which I was very grateful for. I didn't even have to get up to sign paperwork, the front desk guy brought the paper work. Which I never experience before...way cool

i am 29 weeks pregnant, my root canal had gone infected and without exaggeration i did not sleep even a minute that whole night, we just moved here from Texas and i don't know any dentist in town, so i browse online and tried to fill up application and submitted appointments for next day, in so much deep pain i feltlike im already in labor...then i found Dr. Brett Mangum clinic online and their office hour that day which is friday starts at 7am....exactly 6:57 on my clock i just tried to dial, Ms. Valerie answered the call and i discuss my situation, she did accommodate me and put me in to 9am same day, since i have to travel 47mins to go down prescott....thank God for such a nice people like them, Ms. Johanna and Dr. Brett Mangum took care of me very well.Dr. Mangum discussed to me my options and thank God same day my pain is gone. He even follow up on me on weekend to check how am i doing. Highly reccommended dental clinic!

I had an emergency! I had broken a moler in half. I am new to Prescott and didn't have a dentist yet. I was referred by my sister to the Mangum office. They got me in right away and were able to save and fix the tooth. I am very grateful to have gotten such great service from a warm and caring staff. Thank you

I had a preconception that my dental work was going to be less complicated. My Dentist explained my problem to me in a way I could understand. I am aware of what needs to be done and more importantly why. I have no anxiety in returning for the work to be started and then completed. I feel confident that I am in good hands.

Everyone at Mangum Dental is amazing! They are very thorough, very nice, and make sure you understand everything going on. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great dentist. If 5 is the maximum rating that I can give Mangum Dental can I use someone elses ratings as well? I found his demeanor as well as the staffs highly professional and very relaxing for the sensitivity of the work that they perform. I overheard Dr. Bretts' conversation in the adjoining room with a paitent and found him to be very personable and somewhat humorous.

I felt comfortable and well-informed as my wisdom teeth were removed. The removal was much faster than I expected, and recovery was good too. My cheeks didn't even swell up! Both Dr. Richard Mangum and the assistant were very accommodating; she even took a few pictures for me like I requested. I recommend this dentist!
