The hygienist who did the cleaning was terrible. She kept telling me over and over that I had a serious problem that needed to be addressed. When the dentist came, he made her redo the x-rays because they were not clear and then they showed me to the waiting room. She then came out and said that everything was fine without any further explanation. I still don't know what to think. My gums hurt for three days after the visit, which is definitely not normal for me. While I always expect a little discomfort during and after the cleaning, it usually lasts less than 24 hours. I have my teeth cleaned every six months without fail, and while I understand things do change, during my last cleaning I didn't feel a thing. My husband had an appointment the same day and had the same experience. He said it was terrible and he was literally wincing the entire time.

Once again the dentist tried to "sell me" additional treatment. I explained to the hygienist that we have used all of my $3000 insurance benefits in 7 months. I agreed to only have a cleaning and did NOT want any X-Rays or other procedures at this time. I signed my chart with this statement . The dentist said he wanted to take an X-Ray. I explained (again) that Delta has paid $3000 and I have paid $3500 to Omni Dental in 7 months. I was charge $15 in May for an X-Ray that was NOT taken. All they did was seat the temporary crown that came off. I paid $15 and Delta paid $15. Both fees must be refunded to the payee since there wasn't an X-Ray on that date. Along with my account CREDIT, the refunds will help to cover the cost of the cleaning on 6-10-13. This matter must be resolved before sending me a statement of a balance due. Thank you.

I scheduled a new patient appointment - assuming that would include a teeth cleaning. I was beyond distressed to find out that there was never any intention or plan to clean my teeth on Monday. Nobody had explained to me when I made the appointment that I'd have to come in multiple times - had I known that, I would have found another office with different policies surrounding new patients. Additionally, when a technician graciously took me in to clean my teeth, she finally reviewed the findings from the main dentist. Her explanation was significantly easier to understand than what I saw on paper - and more realistic too. It came across to me that Omni Dental's sole purpose is to heavily sell/require dental work which, quite frankly, is non-essential. I do not anticipate returning - I'd prefer a much more personable dental care experience, whereas Omni felt like a factory.

I had to get my file corrected when I first arrived because they were charging me way more than I normally pay for a regular cleaning. After they investigated they found I had been incorrectly scheduled for a special type of cleaning which was going to cost about $125. My regular cleanings are normally between $30 and $40. They finally got it corrected before I went back for my cleaning.

Overall visit was good. Friendly, polite staff. Knowledgeable doctor. Clean facility. A couple of things to improve: At check in, someone highlighted my name on the sign in list without speaking to me. I had to go to the desk after two people went in ahead of me to let them know I hadn't been checked in. I would like to be able to bring my whole family to Omni, but parents need to be allowed to accompany children during the exam. I have never been told I can't accompany my kids anywhere.

office staff is often rude and today was no exception. Appointment was early in the morning but appointments were already backed up 45 minutes. That is ridiculous. Office staff has a high turnover and it's no wonder. On more than one occasion I have seen the female dentist (Dr. Amsili I believe) be rude to her staff and throw a fit in general. I'm glad she is NOT my family's dentists and if this behavior is seen again I will not only find a new family dental office I will complain to the Employee Retirement System of Texas to take this dentist off the state contract. A grown woman (who should be professional) should not behave that way towards her staff or in front of patients. ever.

I had a bad experience in my first appointment. I had to wait for 70 minutes to visit the doctor even though I made an appointment a week before. My second bad experience was when I try to make an appointment by phone. The receptionist asked me for Credit card information in order to make an apt. I was at work and did not have my credit card with me. The receptionist said that is the policy to have the cc information in order to make an appointment? They had all of my personal information such as address, work address, home # and extra. (where is the trust) ? I could hang up and use different doctor but I was in the middle of my dental work. Hope you make a revise on your policy. Thank you

I waited 20 minutes after my appointment time to be called in. However, everything was done efficiently and quickly. The examination was thorough and the treatment took place immediately. I was informed of my treatment plan and costs before any actions were taken to correct the probem. I feel a long-term problem was corrected in the space of 2 hours and have high hopes of being pain free for a long time to come.

Once again the office staff tried to get me to get 3 crowns when I only needed one at this time. I also needed a root canal. I did NOT receive or sign an estimate of cost for the root canal. I knew my insurance covers 100% for root canals. I called Delta while I was in the chair to confirm that coverage. When I came back for the procedures the front desk staff made me pay $350 more than what I agreed to pay. I tried to explain that UT SELECT PLUS covers 100% for root canals. She said "no insurance covers 100%". She said if they paid more then I would have a "credit" on my account. Meanwhile, I have and extra $350 balance on my credit card. When I called the next day she said they have to wait for the E. O. B. from Delta before they could do anything and the "accounting" committee only meets once a MONTH!

Ended up canceling the exam. Had explained that I had seen my dentist and needed a root canal and you were on my insurance. The difference in your charges and what my insurance presents were explained, but just to be seated and see what we were working with (I had been checked that same morning) would require $129 up front. All the conversations were pretty much about money. Certainly left feeling that the $$$ were the priority and the patient was second - no matter how excellent the dentistry could be.

Not informed about todays charges. Not clear on where the credit from Janaury visit went, was told it was an insurance up charge?!?!?!? Don't know what that is, it was my cash that overpaid. New dental hygenist today, I expected a visit with Ellen was not informed that had changed. Rec'd call last week to reschedule my appt from 2pm to 3pm. I agreed and they said actually 2:45. I wasn't seen until 3:30pm. I never got the January overpaid cash back,. and due to a typo in your system on my yearly max, I was overcharged for today's visit. I was told there would be a follow up within 2 weeksn. In meantime, I still want to know why I was overcharged in January (according to the claim from the insurance) and where my cash credit went. May look into a different dental office in the future due to lack of understanding what I am paying for and why I am overcharged on several visits this year and I never get the cash credit back.

I was worked on in your office on 4/25/13 and it went excellent. I had a deep cleaning, and two wisdom teeth removed. I don't respond normal to numbing agents, and explained that to my dentist. I was properly numbed up for the work, and felt like I was in professional care. I was in the chair for four hours and never felt bad. My experience today was completely opposite. I explained my problem with numbing again. The Dr. obviously didn't believe, or didn't care, or wasn't competant enough to do it properly. I was in pain very soon after the start of the session. Litacain had to be administered a number of times and still never fully numbed me. I felt like I was also being worked on by a student dentist, but nobody told me. The main dentist didn't numb me properly, and the other caused pain with his actions (because i was never properly numbed). My experience was so bad that I told the office staff that I was likely not coming back to that office, would definately not work with that dentist again,and maybe not Omni Dental anymore.

The office staff is the worst ever!!! Due to the office staff, I will not be going back once this procedure is done and I will make sure my friends and family are aware of the horrible office staff there. Dr. Bodapati said that I did not need the bone grafting and tissue procedure I was told to prepay. When I spoke to the office staff, they said they needed to charge in case it was needed in the future, even though the Dr said it was not needed. When I called to make the appointment, the person said if the procedure was not done it would be refunded in a few days.I had to remind the office staff 4 times of the email coupon for $200 for the implant I recieved in an email, I dont see on the receipt where that was applied either. In the office after the procedure, the office said it would take 4-6 weeks to refund it because they needed to speak to accounting. This is fraud and I will be reporting it. The office staff is rude, condescending and uninformed. I want my money for unnecessary services that was charged refunded immediately. Even Dr. Bodapati said she did not understand why I was charged, and said I should only be charged the implant. Dr. Bodapati and her assistants are excellent. 0 stars is how I really rate this place, unfortunately I was forced to choose one. I have told people at work about this awful office you have, and several have told me they have had the same bad experience.

Appreciated having the TV in the examination area, the dental assistant doing the Xrays was very quick and efficient. The gentleman assisting Dr. Amsili was extremely gentle, kind and put me at ease quickly. Dr. Amsili was just wonderful---he was understanding of my concerns and explained, step by step, the plan of treatment he recommended. All in all, I felt well taken care of!

Get a panoramic x-ray machine so it is faster, easier, and less painful than the Full Mouth X-ray process which made my mouth hurt and my eyes water. Select either the radio or the TV to be on. They were both on at the same time. It was annoying to hear both and made me feel more anxious. Train staff on professionalism...what to say and what NOT to say to patients. Dont say "pretty girls make me nervous".

I had to wait a very long time to be seen by the dentist. I sat in the chair a long time. The lady taking my xrays was in a rush and not so friendly, im very fearful of dentists as is. It was difficult to understand what was going to happen next. I know i need my teeth cleaned and need 2 teeth removed and am in alot of pain but i dont feel any of that was addressed. Also am unclear on what is to happen next with my daughter either. All i do know is the very kind lady who checked us out gave me a form telling me how much it was to come back for another consult but no acutal care or treatments to begin. I left confused and not knowing what care i recieved other than just waiting for ever to have xrays and be looked at and told to come back to be looked at again. Disappointed.

Also we were not told beforehand that Dr. Neal, our dentist of several years, was no longer at Omni. Candy, dental hygenist, was very adaptable to my husband's hearing problems, even moving him to Tory's station, since it's quieter.

I have been going to Omni Dental for several years now. It seems that just recently my experiences there have been better -- better customer service overall, dentist introduces himself to me, explains things clearly, makes sure I do not have any questions. The hygenists introduce themselves, do a thorough job cleaning my teeth and are gentle about it. This office must be working on this or changed staff somehow, because this was not always the case. I'm glad to experience these great changes!

I am not a person who has anxiety about going to the dentist, but after a few minutes into my cleaning I was not comfortable at all. The hygienist was going way to fast and the cleaning was becoming painful. It had been a few years since my last cleaning (my fault) so I expected that it would take longer to clean my teeth. I was in and out in 15 minutes. It would have been nice for the hygienist to SLOW down and take her time.

While the nerve in the tooth (after undergoiing a root canal the day before) may be removed and thus may not require as much anesthetic when prepping the tooth for the temporary crown the tissue in the cheek is still very much alive and the tools of the assistant can be just as irritating as the tools used in operating on the tooth directly. My suggestion is to please take this into consideration when administering anesthesia and to include the total area of the mouth where ANY instruments will be used such as where the cheek connects to the gums. IN DEFENSE OF THE DR., Dr. Flurry asked me on multiple occasions if I was feeling any discomfort and each time I replied that I was doing fine. I assume all responsibility for my discomfort and should not reflect on Dr. Flurry's performance whatsoever. Thank You

I've been a patient for approximately 2 years; seems like every time I visit (twice a year), I'm treated by a new hygienist and a different dentist. During my visit on Tuesday, the hygienist was friendly; however, she seemed upset when I asked her to change her gloves after I saw her handling many other things in the office right before she put her fingers in my mouth. During the procedure, she cut my face with the cleaning tool while she was cleaning/scraping my teeth. She acknowledged what she did and said she would provide me neosporin (only to find out from the dentist that there was none available)--I had to go to the Walgreens a few blocks away to go buy some. I felt rushed out of the office. In fact, I believe the hygienist was still wearing her gloves when she opened the door to let me out. Nobody talked to me about what I need to do (unless you consider what I overhead the dentist telling the hygienist to write down in my chart), and no one showed me air flossing kit.

I think you all are nice and professional. I am currently in pain and have to wait four days to get into see the specialist to get a root canal appt. My whole visit was great until I had asked for pain medication, I was given ibuprofen and told the dentist I saw was right out of grad school and can't write a prescription for something stronger. I don't understand when my pain is bad enough for something that will take the pain away or not. I came there once and saw a woman who I would have loved to make my regular dentist because I came in pain and she wrote me a prescription for a pain med that would work and let me know it was because I was grinding. I didn't fill the pain med because after that day I stopped grinding and the pain started subsiding. But to have been heard and believed, is what I am looking for in adentist. I stay with omni because of dr Hansen. After this time if I feel the same I will explore other dentists. Tooth pain is the worst and I have 2 more days to go.

This was necessary dental work and I should have been given the option to make payments especially since I have a good history I paying Omni. I believe this is an unjust collection policy or practice especially since two other clients before me were discussing payments and balances with Omni personnel on the same day. I am disappointed.

After explaining to everyone how overwhelmed I was along with my horrible experience at Castle Dental I still got lectured and questioned by the dentist. I was completely uncomfortable and wanted to just leave however that couldn't happen as my 1 year old and husband were also there for cleanings. Once we started on my daughters exam, the SAME dentist proceeded to explain to me that my daughter needs to not eat sugars and sweets. Let me make this clear, my daughters teeth were fine as explained to the dentist, my daughter doesn't even drink apple juice and eats healthy foods. I don't ask my mother for parenting advise, therefore receiving it from a stranger is unnecessary. After the unsolicited advise, she then explained that they were going to remove some charges giving that had out charges of a clean on my insurance. I said ok that's fine. She then said ill have then removed so we don't charge Medicaid. I gave her this look of 'excuse me' ?!?!? Just for future reference, make sure your dentist don't stereo-type and automatically assume someone is on Medicaid bc that could be further from the truth as I have a great insurance that I pay for not the government. At that point I was done with her and that office. Ill take my family and business elsewhere. Thanks.

I ended up at your large firm by default since my dentist transferred there...and then left within months. Geographically, you're not well located for me but I hate change and will continue there. My preference is for small firm of 2-3 dentists with perio specialist in perhaps a day a week, which I could adequately schedule. Nothing wrong with anyone at Omni and care has been fine. I just prefer smaller firm with less in/out of dentists! I've had 3-4 in a few years which is unacceptable to me. When I move out of state within the next couple of years, I will seek out a smaller firm.

Lady was rude and told me I needed to wait until it comes up. Come to find out my chart was filed back and no treatment plan was being worked on. When we finally got a treatment plan, I am told before I can make an appt I have to pay $845. They advise me of care credit and I advised that I am at my .limit with them due to a bad root canal and bone replacement. Really need more financing options. Such as pay half and then take the other half at a later day from a credit card on file. I am in the medical field and we could never not treat a patient without multiple payment options. It seems OMNI is abour $$$ and not patient care.

The next I heard about the dental evaluation was at the front desk, where the quote for a crown was presented to me. The dentist said NOTHING to me about my needing a crown, why, and which tooth. The periodontist was okay. On the whole, a most unsatisfactory experience. I will be letting my friends know that they should not choose Omni Dental for their dental care.

Not only was the staff superb and friendly, the process was a great deal less painful than expected. All the horror stories were put to rest after my visit to Omni Dental. I highly, highly recommend Omni Dental. Not only do they take care of you, have a friendly staff, but they do give you straight forward details of whats needed. They do not try to upsell or say you need more work than whats needed, which is a big plus for me!

However, my appointment time was supposed to be at 2:00, I did not get seen by the Dr. until 3:30. If the Dr. was going to be behind; I don't understand why I would be called to come in. This should be managed better. Also, nobody seemed to know why I was coming in. I had to explan it was a routine 6 month check up to two different people. This has made me want to find another primary dentist. I love the services and up North; but, the South location could use improvement.

You need to do better at your scheduling. I scheduled a cleaning, clearly a cleaning last July, six full months in advance. Less than one week before my appointment your office called to tell me the "hygienist had a conflict" and asked to reschedule me. This was an inconvenience, however I rescheduled. But, when I showed up they told me I was scheduled for an exam only, no cleaning. I had my exam six months ago, I didn't need another one, I needed a cleaning. It was very annoying as my husband had to take off time to care for our child since you all forced me to reschedule last minute. This is not the first time this has happened which is why I always make sure when I schedule exactly what I am scheduling is correct. I will say the hygienist and dentist were fabulous and super friendly, and they saved the day from me switching dentists. For now. You all need to get your act together in the office. It's ridiculous.

After waiting 5-10 minutes I was advised I had a balance of approximately $75. I asked to see an itemization of these charges because they were new to me. I waited another 15-20 minutes. There was no explanation for the mix-up. I was told my amount due was $10. After the dentist viewed xrays I was told I had a very large cavity and that it looked like it had been there for a long time. I asked for clarification and the dentist never clarified other than to say "I can't speak for what happened 6 months ago at your previous visit". Then the dentist asked if I floss... I answered yes, but not daily. Then I was asked if I floss on the side where the cavity is at. Really... do you have patients who floss on one side only? There was a leak in the water hose while I was getting my cleaning and I was told I had no major issues to worry about. I honestly felt like there was poor communication and my 6 month check-up/cleaning turned out to be a 1 hour and 50 minute visit.

my crown didn't fit right, so they put my temporary back on, but this was sitting very low so I couldn't touch my other teeth together. I had to tell the nurse 3 times that it didn't sit right. she polished it down to make it work correctly, but left the surface very rough, so now my tongue is scraping against it all the time. Once my crown is done I think I'll be taking my business elsewhere because she acted as though I was in the wrong and was quite impatient with me as soon as the doctor decided to put the temporary back on. This was certainly not the way I'd like to be treated when going to the dentist, as I get nervous by dental work to begin with. No matter what time the appointment is scheduled for (mine was at the end of the day), the staff should try to be nice to their patients, regardless if their day is held up by a few minutes.

The exam room was very small. I felt crammed in with the dentist and hygienist present. The television was on as well as the radio. It was too much sound, especially when the professionals were talking to me. I highly recommend reevaluating your treatment space. Consider consulting with a music therapist about music choice. Ideally the patient would choose the music he/she has to listen to during an appointment. My blood pressure was high at the end of the appointment. I am young and in good health, but the small, loud atmosphere was just too much. The X-rays were terrible. I felt like I was going to gag throughout the procedure. It was never explained why 18 X-rays were necessary to receive treatment from the dentist. I recommend trying to see your environment and treatment procedures through the patient's eyes. Professionals were pleasant.

The Hygenist was great; I just wish the doctor would have examined me more thourougly without rushing. I'm pretty sure I might have some cavities but they seem to have been overlooked. I hope they don't get worse since I have some minor tooth pain from them and can see that they have holes deeper than the tooth crevice.

Visit turned out ok---hygenist was terrific. But, without anyone speaking to me telling me I was rescheduled with another dentist, even when I mentioned the dentist's name when the office called me to reschedule. I had delayed the procedure about a month specifically to keep the same dentist. After the date was rescheduled, appointment reminders were sent only by text when I have repeatedly asked not to be called on my cell (I don't have a text plan). Worst, the appointment time was changed and my only notice of that was a text I hadn't read until I called the office on my own. In the shuffle, the dual purpose of the appointment was lost and I was told at the end of the procedure that I had to make yet another appointment to have my implant checked---it was resolved by buttonholing a free assistant for an x-ray and having the dentist there read it.

I have been terrified to go see a dentist after a very bad experience, but once I got to Omni dental group and was greeted I was soon comforted by the staff. Amazing, kind and caring. I will happily continue to go back! Thank you for showing me that dentist appointments don't have to be worrisome!

My main issues are with the front office staff. Apparently if I haven't been in in over a year I have to have an exam separate from the cleaning (which is a huge waste of time, and seems like an insurance scam). They scheduled me for a cleaning, but when I got there told me I needed an exam, and I might have to come back the next day. They also got my name wrong 3 times within 10 minutes, even after I had corrected them. I was finally seen by a dentist, who was fine. When I was done with the appointment and tried to ask about my payment options and what my insurance would cover, the person I was talking to either had no idea how insurance works, or wasn't listening to my questions. She acted like I was an idiot, but didn't actually answer the question I asked. When I asked for clarification, she just brushed me off with "I don't know, call your insurance company". Um, I think that's her job, and she should know what she's talking about if she's going to be in charge of explaining it

The waiting area is too small and too close to the check-in area. I also had to wait over 30 minutes past my appointment time and then got called only after I mentioned it to someone at the desk. My time is valuable and I don't appreciate the wait.

We have been customers for over 15 years and have been very dissatisfied with several things including faulty workmanship, bad/wrong advice (we got a second opinion at our expense). We have spent thousands of dollars with your practice and have at times been treated rudely by your staff and gruffly by your dentists. We have been captives to your office b/c of the plans offered by employers. Very dissatisfied.

Tory did a fantastic job---awesome!! Service was stellar---however, I purchased a Sheer White whitening package for my son. $69. I texted him what I got (he is a Marine in FL)---he said that he really didn't need it. So when I sent an email and called the next morning to ask for a refund---the package was not opened and I had a receipt---I was denied. I wish someone would have explained that to me before I spent the $$$. Other than that--I have been a patient for more than 18 years--maybe more. I am disappointed to say the least...

I like the new electronic confirmation process. The previous voice mails were somewhat rude. The focus was more on money and missed appointments than ensuring good and appropriate dental care. I don't like that you have to see several different staff to schedule follow up appointments. My last experience involved waiting after my cleaning was complete to visit with another person about my treatment plan. Just time consuming. My hygienist was very pleasant, conversed well and made me feel at ease, which is hard to do, I don't like the dentist office!

Anita and Dr. Doyle were very nice. I ended up needing to have a tooth crowned and throughout the procedure they were reassuring and made sure I was comfortable. I really liked that I was able to start the treatment right then instead of having to make an appointment and come back. This was my first time with Omni Dental and I was very impressed with the service and quality of care I received.

person at window just ignored my standing in front of her- obvious i had a question. Also, i really don't feel my pain was managed appropriately. i missed a full week of work because my pain was not managed appropriately. i had to call twice to report my experiencing pain, including once over the weekend(without response). i had to take two maximum dosage OTC pain meds plus my RX for over a week just to manage sleeping and relief. Pain management is an important of any treatment plan and i feel it was neglected in this instance.

In about 3 years, I have had 3 different dentists. When one leaves the practice, I am not informed about the change until I appear for my appointment. This is unacceptable. I prefer to be actively involved in my dental care and have the right to select the appropriate dentist, after researching their credentials online. Office is always timely, care seems acceptable, but I just don't get the warm "fuzzy" feeling I had with previous dental practice in Alabama. Have considered changing but I do like Dr Bodapati very much and have stayed because of her.

I waited for about one hour to finally get to see my dentist for no longer than 5 minutes.. I felt a bit frustrated about the waiting. I understand there was another procedure going on that my dentist had to be there. But if I can be informed of the possible delay earlier when or even before I checked in, I would manage my time more efficiently. Please remember as patients, we all have tight schedules as well.

I feel that I am not given all my options when I come in for a consultation. It always seems like the doctor recommends the most expensive route. The dentist and office staff are not understanding of people's financial situations or they just do not consider it. I am not a widget but I am person that doesn't have extraneous money to spend on unnecessary dental work.
