I have visited the office of Dr. Stender twice - once for dental work and the second for a dental cleaning. I am a person who normally becomes anxious at a dental appointment. Here, the professionalism, skill, and courtesy of Dr. Stender and his staff are top notch. My change of dentists to Dr. Stender is permanent.

My dental cleaning was the most painless cleaning I have ever had, and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I'm a customer for life, and I'm making an appointment for my husband next! Dr. Stender maintains a continuous education in his field as well as an ongoing effort to keep his office current with respect to the latest in dental technology, the internet, and the use of social media. My son and I visited Dr. Stender for the first time yesterday. My son has special needs, and we are both fearful of dental visit. Dr. Stender and his staff did a great job making us feel at ease, and took their time to explain our dental care. I was impressed with all the x-rays and the time the doctor took to sit down and explain the results. I have two other children that recently had a routine check up at another dentist that my husband is going to. The front office staff was responsible for reviewing the results of their exam, and explaining what work needed to be done, and I did not feel confident with this at all. I will be transferring my other children's care to Dr. Stender.

My hygienist appeared to be new or slightly unfamiliar with the computer program and equipment, however this didn't necessarily affect my teeth cleaning/exam, it was more that it took a little extra time, overall only added about 5-10 minutes onto the time of the appointment. His execution of cleaning my teeth was good. The office is clean and appealing and the staff at front desk is very friendly. Dr. Stender was cheerful and warm and he explained his findings after my exam and I feel comfortable going forward with him to follow up.

By the time I left, the pain had dramatically subsided and was soon gone. I cannot recommend Dr. Stender and his staff highly enough. They are consummate professionals who clearly care about their patients and are dedicated to providing them with effective help.

It was certainly a thorough cleaning, but possibly a slower and gentler approach would be appreciated. Other than that, most pleasant experience on behalf of Dr. Stender and staff.

The cleaning I got was amazing. The staff is so good with follow through and follow up. The equipment is really advanced. Most important, they explained everything to me so I could completely understand what judgement they were using. They took a close-up image of my teeth where I couldn't see and it instantly showed up on the flat screen monitor in front of me so I could understand what work had to be done. It was amazing! I have already referred my friends.

I have been Dr. Stender's patient for 10+ years. Dr. Stender combines the best technology and great skill to keep my teeth healthy; he offers the most advanced treatment options and all my visits went very smoothly and always on-time. I had a lot of mediocre dental work done since childhood, and Dr. Stender took care of them all, explaining my options and corrected them when the right time comes. You cannot find a great atmosphere in a dental office. The friendly staff always greets me by name and knows my family very well. They treat you like a friend, not just a patient.

Their office is so clean and I felt they took care of me down to every detail.. felt very good in their hands. I had to have a cavity filled and the procedure was absolutely pain free. Until now, for me that is unheard of!!! So thrilled to have found this dentist and will be recommending to friends and family!!!!
