Just had my yearly visit with Joan, thoroughly enjoyable as always. She is very thorough and answers any questions I have. Gave me some news About my medication I think I should have been told by my pharmacy. I highly recommend Joan . I look forward to next years visit.

I have had Botox by about 5 different Doc’s in Grand Junction for the last 15 years. Dr. Merkel is by far the best I have ever had do Botox on me. He knows how to make Botox the best experience ever. Only reason I went to other Doc’s is I would win a Botox treatment from going to an open house put on by other Docs in town. I now only allow Dr. Merkel to give me my Botox treatments.

Chris did a fabulous job eradicating my solar spots, and Dr. Merkel took care of a spot that could have been melanoma, but turned out to be benign. He was very calming and reassuring.

I have been going to Dr. Merkel for over 25 years. I would not think of going anywhere else. Everyone that works in this practice is nice and they all have great customer service. I highly recommend Dr. Merkel and his staff.

the staff is wonderful! I love the out come so far. Still stiff and the stiches are bumpy but i think that is normal. Dr Merkel is great. I would recommend him and his office to anyone looking to get surgery done.

Dr. Merkel provided me with outstanding medical care several years ago while putting me back together following a radical mastectomy at the age of 29. At all times, I knew that I was in good hands and I trusted him thoroughly. I recently consulted with Dr. Merkel, once again, to obtain a second opinion from him (I moved to the Denver area several years ago) regarding an upcoming procedure. Just as I anticipated, and expected, Dr. Merkel was professional, caring, and provided sound advice which will prove to be beneficial in helping me make future upcoming medical decisions. Additionally . . . Dr. Merkel went above and beyond several years ago on a Friday night, at the start of Christmas break, following a horrible car accident involving my daughter. Dr. Merkel graciously and meticulously performed emergency surgery on my daughter's face and head. There was a lot of work to be done, but Dr. Merkel performed his magic, once again. Today, my daughter is a beautiful woman, with very limited visible scars. To look at her, you would never begin to believe the story about that cold Friday night in December. This goes without saying, but my entire family thinks the world of Dr. Merkel.

Dr. Merkel explained everything to me about the procedure that I wanted but the price was so far out of what I thought it was going to be that I stopped listening after he told me. He was very nice and I sure a great surgeon. I decided to go somewhere else though.
