I had neglegted going to the dentist for years because of very bad past experiences from other dentists and hygienists, until I found Royal York Dental. The staff at RYD are the best of the best. Instead of fearing the trip to the dentist, I go in more relaxed for my dental procedures knowing I am in good hands by competent professionals who are passionate at what they do, and caring to my dental needs.

Love RYD. However, the whole claims processing piece is poor at best. Takes too long to get a response from the claims co-coordinator. She says she will do something, and never does it. Explicit instructions are left and she does not follow them. This is your single biggest area of improvement.

I was surprised when I got the bill for my appointment. It indicated that my benefits cover 100% of the treatments I received yet I still had to pay some out of my pocket....when I asked about this, I was told that you guys charge a little bit more for most treatments than other places and therefore benefits won't cover the whole amount. I was quite upset about this because this was never explained to me. During my initial visit, I asked many times about the services that would be covered and I was assured that most benefit plans cover all the treatments I was getting. Wouldn't this have been a good opportunity to tell me that you overcharge and MOST of it would be covered but not all of it? Also, before I got the care done on the day of my appointment I clarified again that everything I was getting was routine and generally covered by insurace plans....again there was no mention of the overhead fees. I was just getting a cleaning and wish I had gone somewhere where it would have ACTUALLY been fully covered by my insurance plan.

Great place, knowledgeable and friendly staff. My 1st visit was a tour of the office. My 2nd visit was with Dr. Bedi where we discussed in great detail what my expectations, preferences and other concerns in regards to my dental care. The explanations were very thorough and done quite well. X-rays were taken and as a result, fillings were required. My 3rd visit was booked the very next day 2 fillings and a cleaning. I was impressed with the state of the art technology used. During the procedure, a small camera was used to take a photo of the decayed tooth. Then after a painfree experience, my teeth were back to normal. Even something as minor as using a block to keep my mouth comfortably open for almost an hour made a huge difference, and was not used by my previous dentist. Great work by all.

Perhaps a childhood card, young adults, and mature / older adults, which highlights critical times and anticipated actions / events from an oral health perspective. I value my teeth and while there is a benefit to being on "autopilot" following your recommended visitation schedule, it might ease the potential for surprise if you have a visual chart on oral health aging effects.

I was in the process of finding a new dentist and one day lead into the next and before I knew a few years went by. However on February 16 that was about to change. After eating a small snack I felt what I thought was a crumb on the side of my tooth, but instead it was a piece of tooth that had fallen off. Now I did panic and thought I have no dentist what am I to do? I recalled that close to home was a walk in dental clinic so the next day I called and they said that because of the long weekend their dentist would not be in until Tuesday. They did suggest that I try the emergency dental clinic. I called my husband and he told me that he would look on the internet to find something close to home (I was driving). That is when he booked my appointment with Royal York Dental Clinic. What a refreshing experience! From the moment I arrived I felt I was in good hands. Every one was professional and put me at ease. The work on my tooth was done very well and with little pain. I have now decided to make this clinic my new dentist and hope to bring in the rest of my family. Thank You

My visit with Kelly was amazing as usual. She was personable and explained everything that was happening in my mouth in great depth. AND took the time to show me how to floss using a "C" motion...:) Dr. Stamenkovic also came in during my appointment to do a check up, and she took a caring approach while telling me about the nuances behind the fillings that I needed. Thankfully she had the time to do my filling on the spot and I must say that it was painless! I focused on enjoying some television while she was at work in my mouth, along with her friendly assistant Tara. My overall experience was a good one, and I will be returning for sure! Mind you, I think next time I'll use headphones during the appointment... :)

Flawless! Every time I come in to Royal York Dental, I'm always promptly greeted with a friendly smile from the front desk. I had my hygiene appointment with Amanda, she made sure I was comfortable at all times by offering me a neck pillow and a blanket to keep me warm and comfy during my appointment. She also asked me a couple of times if I was doing okay due to being a notorious non-flosser. She highlighted the importance of flossing without making me feel bad for my short-comings, unlike my old dentist office. It's the extra little things that separate Royal York Dental from "the other guys". Whenever asked by family and friends if I know of a good dental office, the answer is no. I know of an EXCEPTIONAL dental office, the team really cares about their patients. Ive never been to an office that actually remembers what I told them during my last appointment and followed up with what I was up to last in my life. From someone who has had very poor dental experiences over the years, I put off much needed dental work. I came across the website and it seemed to fit my needs perfectly, still, I had to muster up the courage to go! I had developed an abscess and now really had to go see someone. I cannot express how professional and caring the team at Royal York Dental was. Dr. Bulger and his team put me at ease, I had no pain throughout the procedure and have been back numerous times to have all the dental work done that I had been putting off. For anyone who has a fear of dentists like I had and needs to get back on track, I cannot recommend them highly enough. Give yourself the gift of a beautiful smile and put all your fears to rest. It is like going to the spa!

I can't say I enjoy going to the dentist but Royal York Dental makes the visit as pleasant as it can be. The waiting areaa is comfortable and welcoming and the staff are all great. I have a great hygenist that I've been going to for over 10 years and I can't imagine seeing anyone else.

I was so pleased with my recent hygiene visit. Shaili took the time to give me tips about taking care of my teeth at home, also she noticed the effort that I placed into flossing. I felt like a super star. It's motivation to keep me flossing, and my teeth feel much better, (as much as I hate to admit it). Dr. Bedi did my check up, and was very personable, and thorough. I truly enjoyed my last visit, and even if I move to another country, I will be sure to still come to RYD for my cleanings! You don't get that level of true care anywhere.

I avoided the dentist for years because of bad past experiences, but after going to Royal York Dental in an emergency (recommended by someone who felt the same as me about the dentist) I can now go without having a panic attack. The sensitivity, kindness and understanding all go such a long way. Having been several times now I am no longer afraid. I won't ever enjoy it, but at least I have found a place I can go that works for me. I have recommended you to others who feel the same and that says something.

I am very upset, and don't know what I will do now that my tooth has been damaged by your dentist. I honestly do not like the results and I don't know why he took more of my tooth off and then added extra, when I did not ask him to do that. I asked him to fix a small chip and instead he shaved off half my tooth and add a little extra, my tooth is now more bigger than the opposite, buck tooth and looking like a rabbit! and it is bumpy, 3 grooves in the front and huge lump in the back and there is a ride on the inside and bottom...this is not what I asked for and i am very upset. i will have to see another dentist, but he has destroyed half my tooth and now there is a gap on the other side, right side, that was not there before...it looks terrible, and i thought he was a professional...i went there asking for this and 2 mths later and lots of money later for checkup cleaning etc he never did what i asked for but made it worse.

I have been a patient since the beginning, and now my children and husband are also regular patients of Royal York Dental. From the moment we arrive we always receive a warm welcome from staff; and, we are never in a rush to leave, as the office is more than inviting. From the vast selection of reading materials, children's play room and treat basket, the television monitors, as well as the nicely decorated surroundings with the coffee/tea/hot chocolate and snack offerings - I don't think anything has been missed in terms of making visitors feel comfortable and happy.
