Dr. Shope, Kelly and the team at Shope dental were incredible. I have a dental phobia and was in a super high state of anxiety when I went in, but I left feeling much calmer and very supported. It's clear they not only have training in dentistry but also in working with patients with high levels of anxiety. For the first time in a long time I feel like I can do this. Thank you so much! I am actually starting to look forward to continuing my dental care and getting everything figured out.

Visiting a dentist can be unnerving for a lot of people. My first, but not last visit to SCHOPE DENTAL was the best dental experience of my life. Every aspect of the entire long visit was exceptionally relaxed, friendly, supportive, thoughtful and professional. I cannot overly express how caring and thoughtful Dr. Schope and her entire staff were. It almost made going to a dentist a fun thing, something I never thought I would experience in my lifetime. After fixing what had been neglected, I have received excellent maintenance care. Her staff is equally professional, excellent care and kind. The staff in the office are always very professional and courteous. However, accuracy of recent inquiries regarding guidance on what is covered with insurance, what is cost-shared, deductibles, etc., has been questionable. We have been with Dr. Schope for many years and trust her with our dental health, but being advised that something is covered only to be billed later for a different amount can't always be attributed to waiting to see what Delta Dental actually pays and then balance billing the member. We rely on the experience and knowledge of the billing staff so we can make informed decisions ourselves. We realize there has been much turnover in your office and hope our confidence will be restored as new staff members settle into their positions.

Dr. Schope he has done a wonderful job of replacing the staff who moved on in their careers. Although I have been very happy with the hygienists I have had over the past 15 years my new hygienist is incredibly knowledgeable and does a wonderful job of communicating each step in the process of my cleanings. My concerns were 100% eliminated after my time with Lauren. She is a very qualified addition to the office!!

The Schope Team is the best in the west. The scheduling goes smoothly, the visits are on time and the treatments and staff are extremely professional, competent and personable. I have been going to this office since moving to Colorado Springs in 2008 and have never had a single regret or disappointment. My daughter and family not only recommended the Schope team but told me there is no better staff and service to be found. I might add that while some staff members have left the Schope team, it has always been because of personal and or family concerns. and not because of negligence or incompetence. Dr, Schope is extremely particular finding professional replacement staffers who provide and comply with the Schope expectations, professional services and an up front philosophy which is based on need and not potential income. They deserve a ten star rating and no, I am not a relative or have a vested interest in this highly professional service whatsoever. I am just one happy customer who would like to share the evaluation even though it might take a bit longer down the road to get an appointment because of increase volume. But emergency situations are always worked into to schedule so try them and see for yourself. You won't switch or go elsewhere - guaranteed.

I've been going to Dr. Schope for two years and she has remarkably resolved all my long-term issues and she has earned my complete trust. When Dr. Schope fixes something, it is indeed fixed. I know that before she fills a cavity, the true issue has been identified, it is sealed and not contaminated in any way. She simply takes no shortcuts in fixing your teeth and her staff are amazingly trained, and they understand the ends and out of maximizing your insurance benefits, which for me, is a huge relief. I am quite positive, you will never regret going to Dr. Schope.

Thanks for your feedback Tim. Preparing our office during the COVID pandemic to satisfy mandated protocols so we could keep our patients, staff & families safe came at a significant investment for Dr. Schope. The small fee we charge is about a tenth of our total cost. We liken it to the 'add on' fees when you have your oil changed. Our efforts were focused on being transparent to our patients. Our hope was that during an appointment they would appreciated the extra precautions Schope Dental is taking to keep everyone comfortable & safe as they continue to seek excellence for their dental health. We value all of our patients and once again appreciate your feedback.

Friendly staff, clean office. I always feel welcome in Dr. Shope's office, and I never leave with unanswered questions or doubts about my dental care. Though it seems odd to get my teeth cleaned by someone in a hazmat suit (sort of), their attention to patient safety and office hygiene made me feel safe.

Fluoride varnish has so many advantages and is an amazing product. Some plans cover it but it is next to impossible to know for sure especially for adults. Know that Team Schope will always do the BEST treatment for you regardless of what insurance thinks is a covered benefit. Wouldn't it be great to get a call or text from us saying you had a credit balance because the insurance company paid MORE than expected!!

This was the best experience I have ever had at a dentist in my life. Very friendly staff. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Everything was explained to me. The team was amazing. The facility was top of the line. Even the chair was the most comfortable. I would HIGHLY recommend this dentist office to anyone. This was an amazing experience. I came in literally shaking and feeling close to tears from having too many bad experiences at the dentist. All I wanted was to hurry up and get out of the dentist office. I ended up feeling calm before I even sat in a dental chair. Thank you all so much for being an amazing team. I don’t remember everyone’s names but from the receptionist, to the dental assistant and dentist, you guys are wonderful. From the bottom of my heart.....thank you.

I had a very positive experience during my visit. Everyone was extremely sensitive about my sensory disorder and made the least noise they could . They were also sensitive about the lights and gave me sunglasses to wear. It is a very caring and nurturing place to go for dental work.

In a word - Fantastic. Been going to this facility for ten years and have never encountered anything I would question or be unhappy about. Explanations are thorough, informative and complete in all aspects. Staff is the "best" in terms of competence, cordiality and understanding. Appointment scheduling is also on target which reduces wasted time in waiting room.

Dr. Schope and her staff offer very good dental care. There is not a long wait time, your teeth are cleaned effectively, and for more complex procedures (which she handles very well) you are given effective pain relief. At one point quite a while ago I had to have my bite corrected. It was an involved procedure that involved quite a few visits but it worked out very well and I had no more TMJ pain.

As always, your services are very efficient and complete. Over the years, Dr. Schope has taken great strides to make sure to prevent any dental problems that could have occurred. I 've had a partial orthodonic work done that prevent some major issues. A few years back she encouraged me to go to a specialist that could do even more extensive x-rays, etc. His analysis confirmed that due to the ongoing preventive dentistry done over the many years I have been with Dr. Schope, I have been able to avoid most likely during my life having to have major surgery on my mouth. This is the result of good dental care.

So sorry there was a medical emergency, but from the perspective of the patient, your office was probably one of the safer places to experience a medical emergency. Did my annual checkup and was so anxious to get there, I mistakenly arrived a day early!!!! But, as always, I had good news especially on one tooth that has been under observation. The staff is absolutely the best in every possible way and should get a ten star rating. I would also like to add that unlike some other providers, the Schope team is very proactive in preventative care. They are not anxious to perform a procedure unless it is absolutely necessary. Every issue is thoroughly explained without pressure to get something done immediately. Been going for years and will continue doing so because of their knowledge, professionalism and human approach.

Dr. Schope and Staff are truly one unique, friendly, efficient and totally competent group of professionals. Have been going there for eight plus years and have no intentions of trying someone "new". I have been extremely happy with the services rendered and not worried about "additional services" to increase payments. They are extremely conscientious and thoroughly explain any developments. In addition they provide a wide range of service and treatments and what is recommended for corrective services. Great bunch of folks - you should give them a try and you will be very happy! Best in the west sounds kinda corny but it is accurate!!!!

TLC and professionalism are foundational in this office. I was faced with major dental work and reluctant to take the plunge. Sue worked out scheduling issues and helped me figure out the finances. Sue takes on the insurance companies with unbridled determination. Heather carefully and thoroughly explained every aspect of the procedures. Her work ethic and attention to detail are matched by her kindness and sweet disposition. I can't say enough about Dr. Schope. She's a superb dentist, not only because of her skill but because she listens to your concerns and fears and devotes as much attention to aesthetics as she does function. She's competent, thorough, extremely professional but also a really nice person. I have gone to Diane for cleanings every six months for 10 years and believe she's the best hygienist on the planet. Every single person in this office is exceptional. They really work as a team and their pride and professionalism have really made a diffference for me. I highly recommend the Schope team.

I appreciate your finding the decay beneath the old crown that was causing my mild discomfort. Better now than later when I could have required a root canal. The only thing I don't recall hearing was instruction on pain. I talked to Sue later and she mentioned Ibuprofen as the recommended pain med because I was continuing to have discomfort. I'm writing this on Saturday, and I still feel an ache in this area and if I breath with my mouth open, it's sensitive. I'll probably call Monday if this continues to ask your opinion.

The staff and Dr. Schope are always so pleasant to deal with. I have never had an unpleasant experience in the office. The receptionist, Susie, is always so gracious and kind.

I have gone to this dentist for years, and have never had a bad experience. They are very careful and professional, and very considerate. Every time I walk in they remember me, it always feels like family rather than a dental practice. We found Dr. Schope after having gone to many dentists, I have special teeth that have needed lots of fillings. Most dentists before were very painful with the needle to numb my mouth. Dr. Schope was by far the best and least painful with the needle. All the dental Hygienists are very friendly quick working and knowledgable. Sue has also always done a great job with scheduling, I've never had to wait very long at all and is very friendly up front.

Thank you for once again providing me with excellent service and quality. I went in for a routine checkup and walked out with two cavities filled. The staff knows me well and that I would just prefer to get it taken care. They had a cancellation and fit me in. My dental technician is very gentle with my teeth and Dr. Schope is so professional and knowledgeable yet very accessible and kind. The office manager Sue is absolutely amazing. She always puts me at ease and I love her sense of humor. And she is super sharp regarding her skills and working with insurance for the best possible financial scenarios. I love this office and have recommended it to friends and family.

Considering how advanced you guys are in terms of technology, I read this on POPSCI a while ago, here's the link to an article on it - https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/to-your-health/wp/2014/06/16/this-new-technology-may-put-an-end-to-drilling-at-the-dentists-office/ it is something you may want to consider adding to your regular cleaning schedule or more often, it will strengthen teeth but also add a source of revenue. Teeth like mine that are weakened in a lot of areas but not openly decaying but in a few areas would benefit greatly from treatmest such as this.

The staff and procedures, yes, it IS dentist's office, are almost like a spa. Their concern for your comfort takes precedence over "getting the job done". We wouldn't go anywhere else. Oh, and yes, Dr. Schope only does what is necessary to save a tooth. You can trust her judgment that she's not doing a procedure because she can charge more. We are very pleased. Been seeing her since 2003.

It is great that I can walk in after not being seen for six months and everyone remembers you, Diane is great to work with, very engaging and professional, but also if very accomadating and allowing you time to take a break from time to time so your jaw isn't sore from being held open for 30 minutes straight. Since coming to see Dr. Schope the first time I have looked forward to having a dental appointments rather than dreading them!

I'm also thankful to have Sue at the Administrative helm. Sue followed thru and made the apt the same day with Dr Boss. Sue also followed up to check on me the next morning as did Dr. Boss' admin staff. Dr Boss did an impressive job!

The only thing that I'd change is how much detail I was given along the way about what was being done. I find comfort in knowing the process along the way. I also think that it would have been a nice add to have been offered something to drink that could add some sustenance. I felt pretty weak after 3 hours and Novocain.

Dr. Schope also is very kind and gentle. Thank you for the Schope bucks which was a big help in paying my bill! And thanks much for the gift card to Starbucks when I referred my granddaughter to your office. You're a great team. All you need is a small memory pillow to support my neck (& others) when in the "chair." You can put a plastic bag over the pillow for each patient. They are wonderful and increase the comfort of people who have arthritis, and probably other people as well.

The picture is displayed right in front of your eyes as a virtual big screen. The effect is that you feel as though you are watching a 50" flat screen television, from 2 meters away, in a dark room. This is a high quality dental office but also so personal! I was just there for a hygiene appt. but was chilly and they provided me with a heated neck wrap and a blanket. I used to be very anxious about going to the dentist but not since I've been going to Dr. Schope! They go out of their way to make you comfortable.

Are there risks of the filling leaking or emitting toxins in my body which could also negatively effect the baby? Given how many fillings I have, what's the future/longevity/prognosis of my teeth look like? Lastly, despite regular brushing and frequent flossing, I have had many cavities over my child and young adulthood what steps can I be taking to make sure my children have better tooth quality? Are there nutritional considerations i can make right now or are you just born with the type of teeth you are going to get? Of course, they will have a healthier diet than I had when I was younger. General Feedback: I love how knowledgeable, professional, and friendly your staff is! I have full faith that all which can be done for effective dental care is being done for me.

I love it there and i like that i have the same people that work on my teeth each time. Debbie is amazing i love her too. I like that there is always something to to in the office a raffel or a contenst, i love it. oh but i got way too many text reminders this last apt 3 in one day hehe thank you for making sure i was there.... have a good day.

I was floored to find out that I would owe over $200 for the visit. Floyd was not exactly happy either. I am lucky to have been allowed to make 3 payments but I am unemployed and money is so very tight. Ouch...that hurts our budget.

Your office staff always make me feel welcome, and I appreciate the care taken when I get my teeth cleaned. The hygenist is always careful when working on my teeth, and answers all my questions. Everyone there is very professional, and even though coming to the dentist usually makes me nervous, you all do such a great job that it really helps me to stay calm.

I love everyone in the office, especially the team and their costumes this year! I was surprised and disappointed that I was charged $53 for an 'oral exam'. I don't recall ever having this charge before, here or any other dentist I've used. It was also a surprise since I thought, like with Salcetti, Dr. Schope was doing the exam as a follow-up to the extensive work she did with me.

But you took the extra time to make my week more comfortable and it seemed only fitting that I tell you how wonderful you and your entire crews their made me feel. Diane is so friendly and sweet. She doesn't even get mad when I bite her during my cleanings. Sue is witty and laughs at my jokes. Dr. Schope obviously is an amazing employer since she keeps such a wonderful staff around. I always feel so comfortable in your office! One comment: have you ever thought of using laughing gas on everyone that walks in for a teeth cleaning? That would make things funnier around the office for both staff and patients. Love you guys! I've been going to Dr Schope since I retired from the military seven years ago. She and her team are the best! I've never had such thorough and comprehensive exams. She can even do crowns and overlays on site which negates the need for a second follow-up appointment. I love Dr Schope!

Are you kidding me? This made me laugh as only pros like you would send this out. I would know being in a similar line of work. Somebody over there took Customer Service for Dental Offices or a marketing class or else is just really smart. Probably all the above. I forgot to mention that I was telling Kim that I will always drive to Briargate and catch every light on Union from Platte to go to you because of my loyalty.I will pay out-of-network too; that's how committed I am. I can't believe people switch dentists based on this then wonder why they are in pain. I love your customer loyalty program. Schope Bucks Rock!! Your community involvement inspires. As you know I have referred others to you who have had very bad experiences. I don't mean not-nice staff, I mean incompetence in dentistry. this never enters my mind with you and the crew. When I had more extensive work a few years ago, I loved that I could have a blanket and the headphones with my choice of music. Until I came to your practice, dental appts. were dreaded, anxiety and fear-filled. Dr. Schope, Sue, Diane, Heather, Mary, and Adam and Sheila(before they left) changed how I think about and feel about dental care. I felt I was not given a clear expectation of how long each visit would be and what the actual costs would be. I felt the receptionist was too involved in looking at my medical history and this should have been discussed only with the dentist and myself. I felt the receptionist was somewhat demanding that I get x-rays as I feel this is a personal choice(I am the patient), not just because my insurance will pay for it. My dental cleaning by Mary was the best I have had in along time. Due to my previous experiences I prefer to touch base with the dentist after my cleaning to make sure my questions have been answered and to discuss any problems the hygienist may have found.
