Fouzia was great. Will definitely come back in 6 months as I liked this experience much more than my last doctor.

I actually feel bad for writing this review, but I would prefer to see the dental hygienist I saw on my first two appts over the one I saw on this last one. Not only did I think she talked way too much (the entire time spent on my teeth was less than 15 mins but my appt was nearly an hour), but I thought she was rough, not paying attention to fully polish all of the teeth (she didn't do the front uppers)and never put her mask over her nose and mouth. I felt she was more concerned with trying to connect with me and wanted to chit chat.

My appointment was at 9am, but the surgery was not prepared to accommodate me at that time. This was compounded by the hygienist being 30 minutes late. I was disappointed to find that although I had requested a cleaning and checkup at the same time but no dentist was present and would not be so for at least an hour. Things that could change ? adhering to the schedule, accurately booking appointments to make best use of clients time.

Regarding my visit on Wed. April 22nd, I arrived at SITC expecting only a dental cleaning, which I'd scheduled in advance, and mold impressions for a replacement Lumineer. My teeth were examined by the dental hygienist who strongly recommended I undergo a deep-cleaning procedure rather than the usual preventative cleaning. I was very reluctant due to the fact that my dental insurance only covers basic services, so I asked about cost and what I could realistically expect my insurance company, United Concordia, to cover. I did not want to consent to such an expensive procedure if I ended up having to pay the bulk of it--my current salary is in the low five figures. After the front desk staff checked with United Concordia, I was informed that 80% of the deep-cleaning procedure would be covered. Unfortunately, once I received an explanation of charges from United Concordia, this proved to not be the case at all. So now, I truly hope that this issue can be resolved amicably.

Literally everyone I met and worked with at Smile in the City was attentive, informative and patient! Lyndsey at the front desk helped me navigate my insurance coverage for several treatments, and was very prompt in replying to my emails. Fouzia, my Hygenist, took the utmost care of me during my cleaning, and was pleasantly entertaining through it all! And I cannot say enough about Dr. Mary Costigan - she helped me get my high school smile back! She thoroughly explained all of my options, did not try to upsell me, and actually helped me save money I was prepared to spend. She worked together with a truly talented Technician, Claude, to expertly craft and set a completely natural-looking veneer for one of my front teeth - in one visit! Dr. Costigan was very gentle and extremely patient with me; ensuring the veneer perfectly complimented my smile, and that I was completely satisfied! I highly recommend Smile in the City, and I will definitely be back!

I recently visited the office for a routine filling and was greatly suprised and humbled by the staff and their dedication to provide great service. I believe that each patient is trully cared for and that once your a patient at Smile in The City, you are a priority to them. I thank you all for making me feel special and for you genuine caring. I found the service to be excellent. Although the cost is at a premium compared to other dental providers, I believe the dental care is on par with the high level of service and convenience.
