The facilities and staff are outstanding. I always walk out after my appointments feeling much better then I walked in, the reception staff is gracious in scheduling and accommodating my busy schedule. United Wellness Center has a top notch medical staff, is extremely clean, used cutting edge technology, provides a relaxing environment to receive treatments and I highly recommend it regularly. Since seeking treatment through Dr. H and his staff my athletic capabilities have improved and I have experienced a pain and injury free training and competition schedule for over a year, a goal previously never achieved in my 30+ years of competitive sports and amateur athleticism. Dr H – I would like to commend you for running such an outstanding practice. As you know, I have had a series of unusual yet painful symptoms that no one was able to diagnose for over 16 months. My time at United Wellness Center had been far superior to the experiences I have had previously with over a dozen so-called “specialists,” including Johns Hopkins. Your professionals at UWC actually do work as a team (unlike the marketing ploy from Hopkins). I was fortunate enough to get the “dynamic duo” – you (Dr. H) and Emily Hatt – who put together a coordinated and integrated treatment program for me that has me on the path to a pain-free life and actual health. Dr. Wong has extraordinary knowledge, experience, and understanding of the body in motion. As someone who suffered migraine headaches for over 10 years I was searching for relief from the excruciating pain after trying several medications which no longer worked. I had heard about acupuncture, but wasn't sure about trying it, because it was not mentioned by my doctor as a treatment option. After a particularly bad 3 day headache I decided I had to do something, so I met with Emily at United Wellness about how acupuncture could help me. My first visit gave immediate relief and I'm thrilled to say that in the year that I have been receiving treatments I have had 1 migraine headache, instead of the 1-2 a month that I was living with! I had continuous hip pain for over three years when I started coming to the United Wellness Center. Not only was my hip pain diminished but overall I felt better and more centered after treatment with both Dr. H and Dr. W. They helped explain to me what was going on with my body and always lended a listening ear. The personal attention and guidance I received quickened my recovery and I highly recommend their services.
