The Call was a proud newspaper for over one-hundred years, until it spawned brilliant crime reporter, Luthor Carlsen, who is writing about crimes he's committing himself. 

Mr. Slingland has spent a lifetime in the newspaper publishing business. He's been a publisher of numerous newspapers and is a past president and chief operating officer of The Suburban Newspapers of Northern New Jersey, a large newspaper group outside of metropolitan New York. He's also served as president of The Tribune Schwab Fox Newspapers in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Slingland’s newspaper experience encompasses every discipline in the business, from office boy to chief executive officer, and aptly qualifies him to write "The Norfield Killer."  He lives in Kinnelon, New Jersey, with his wife, Cindy.
