We won’t even go anywhere else for glasses :) my 2 year old, who is normally very uncomfortable around new people , had a stress free eye exam and they fit her for new glasses with ease. Wonderful staff!

Such a pleasant atmosphere. I was greeted by my name as soon as I entered the door. No one does this anymore in fact you're lucky if you are greeted. Everyone who assisted made conversation with me . I was Wow. Dr Mizell you score 100. Thanks for making my visit so pleasant.

We met Dr Mizelle when I realized our son needed special attention with his sight. As a parent, you want to find the best care for your child. We have done that with Dr. Mizelle. Even with our sons vision and he being active in sports, Dr. Mizelle has him in contacts seeing 20/20. I went to Dr. Mizelle because, there is a very short wait, if he can take care of our son's eyes certainly he can help me, and second to his ability, his genuine care. The whole staff is friendly. A+

Staff was friendly but I was never informed of anything. I don't know what my eyesight is. I didn't know when they were dilating or what they were checking. When I went pick glasses I wasn't given a good selection. And nobody asked if I wanted contacts(which I did)

Dr. Mizelle is always professional and friendly to me. I've been seeing him for years now. He is the only Doctor I know that was able to solve my contact issues. I also love all his jokes. Makes for a pleasant appointment and eases the anxiety of having your eyes examined. I LOVE all his staff! Everyone is so professional and friendly. I will not go anywhere else. I had to see another eye Doctor for emergency purposes while Dr. Mizelle was out of the country but, I would have preferred him but, I understand and I so enjoyed all the beautiful pictures of his family and vacation. I have in the past and will continue to refer all my friends, family, and relatives to this professional facility for all their eye needs. Thank you to all for everything including listening to all my stories. I really appreciate everything. Having been told I could not wear contacts after RK surgery, I was happily surprised that Dr. Mizelle considers tough cases a challenge that he is going to meet! My appointment was quick and thorough and Dr. Mizelle very personable. Office staff were very friendly and I felt like "home" there! Looking forward to many years of superior eye care!

Dr. Mizelle is always helpful and friendly and helps you in any way possible! I had a bad infection in my eye and he gave me a 10-day trial package of contacts because I did not have wearable glasses, so I was able to wear contacts and throw them away everyday as to not re-infect my eyes. He is such a pleasure to see and would recommend him to everyone!

PRO’s: THE MOST TIMELY APPOINTMENT EVER!!!!! I arrived at 2:20, completed short, non-repetitive forms and was in an exam room at 2:42! My exam was very through, everyone is friendly & professional. The lobby is pleasant and comfortable.

Dr. Miele took the time to explain to me what was going on with my eye. After seeing to other Dr.'s first, I believe I'm getting some relief from my right eye after battling this since Nov 13th. This is the most relief I've had since then.

I was very pleased with the experience at Acadiana Vision Associates! I was able to make an appointment for the next morning and see the doctor very shortly. Everyone was so friendly and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg even without insurance.

I loved Acadian Vision Associates! The staff was very friendly and caring. I loved how everyone was so nice and made conversation with you throughout your visit. They make you feel more at ease and they fully explain everything to you. You will leave happy and wanting to return! Overall great office! Dr. Mizelle was amazing!

Dr. Mizelle didn't explain to me what my son's script was or why he needed glasses, idk if his vision has changed and Idk if they're needed 24/7 or just to read? And the frames offered for the kids with the medical card are the same variety since my 24 year old daughter was his age. He's 9.....only two complains I have, everything else was very professional

It is a visit that I always enjoy! Dr. Mizelle (and Cindy) deserve to receive KUDOS for hiring friendly and professional staff!! I always feel comfortable to have any questions answered and assistance in making the right decision for my vision. Suggestion: You may request that your clients decide on the manner to be contacted--email, text, snail mail or phone call. It is important that everyone keeps their scheduled appointment but you could save money and time by having them select ONE method of contact. Looking forward to seeing you again next year!!

Every time I go in for an appointment everyone is helpful, friendly and polite. During my last visit, a man visiting from out of town, came into the office without an appointment. He needed help with a lense that had come out of his glasses. Everyone, including the doctor, went above and beyond to help the man and make him feel comfortable.
