I have been seeing Dr. Scarbrough for over 10 years and have only positive things to say. He spends time meeting with you and explaining the results of the exam. I don't think I have ever had to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. He treats his patients and his staff with respect. One of the ways you can tell an employer is good is how he treats his employees. Most of his staff have been there longer than I have been a patient. I wear contacts and glasses. There is only a few-day waiting period when I order contacts and they have given me samples to tied me over if I ever get myself into a bind! I appreciate the expansion of the retail part of the building and have now ordered two pairs of glasses through them. Never had a problem.

Dr. Scarbrough fit us in when we were on vacation and our daughter had a piece of sand stuck in her eye - she was in a lot of pain and was not enjoying her vacation! We were so thankful he squeezed us in, and was able to remove the debris so we could go back to enjoying our trip.

All the staff were friendly and efficient. I instantly felt welcomed! Mikayla (sorry I this is spelled wrong), the optometry intern was very gracious and explained everything with a confident, knowledgeable manner, Dr. Reed was professional, informative, relaxed and approachable. I have been in the medical profession for 37 years and would recommend this office and Optometrist without hesitation! Thanks to all of you.

Nice staff and thorough eye exam. I like to be able to go to an eye doctor that is local. I feel like my questions during the exam were answered in detail. I was asked more than once during the exam if I had any more questions which made me feel comfortable.

Thank you for your feedback. We do strive to be customer-focused, however our software system is unable to automatically provide prescriptions to our patients. We are always happy to print or e-mail a copy of the prescription. Thank you!

I was recommended by a friend when I first moved to town almost 10 years ago now. I was pleasantly surprised then and it still holds true today. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming that I feel right at home the minute I walk through the doors. They are up-to-date on the latest technology and take the time to explain things thoroughly. This last visit I was with their new optometrist; Dr. Reed. Dr. Reed was very professional and informative, but also very relaxed and fun too. He made the visit extra enjoyable. Thank you!

whatever I got to dilate eyes lasted five or six hours. Driving home was extremely difficult and dangerous. My eyes were irritated or about three day so far.

First impression of your business is wonderful - as soon as you hit the sidewalk my children love seeing the unique bike rack. When you open the doors you are promptly met by smiling courteous staff. My daughter always gets a little nervous when sitting in "the chair" but Dr. Scarbrough made her feel very comfortable. When we went to pick out glasses we were helped instantly and I apologize for not remembering names but the lady with black curly hair that works behind the desk was absolutely amazing with Maecy making her feel very happy about her glasses and the way she looked in them. Every time I've ever been to Scarbrough the staff has been fantastic. The front office does everything they can to help with insurance questions, scheduling and other administrivia while the back office walks you through the process quickly and professionally while being friendly and, most importantly...not having bad breath. You know when someone gets really close to tell you a secret and before they're even close your nose is already tipping you off that something is wrong? Then they get close and it's like every bad smell from your childhood wrapped in garbage and put in a microwave? And then you're stuck there because you respect this person enough to listen but not enough to politely inform them of their olfactory offenses? That never happens at Scarbrough. Even the little things are consistently taken care of. This review has gone off the rails, but truly Scarbrough is a great practice and I cannot recommend them enough.

The appointment its self was fine. It was the process of getting my lenses replaced that was not pleasant. It was promised that the lenses would be arrive within 3 days of my appointment After a week I stopped in and they were not there. The tech's comment made me wonder if they had ever been ordered in the first place. When I did get them I found out that I had been overcharged by almost a 1/3 rd. The amout was refunded on my CareCredit credit card. The receptionist said that she would email me a copy of the receipt since it was "quite a process" to refund to this card. The next day I received an email saying that she mailed it instead of emailing it. Could she not have ust emailed to me also ?

Dr. Scarborough is very knowledgeable to my vision needs. It is a pleasant experience for me to have an eye exam. I also appreciate the assistance in selecting new glasses. The new display room is spacious, with good lighting, and has a large selection of frames.

I loveyour new addition. All staff are very accomodating, gratiouse and helpful. It seems like a very happy, caring work environment and the staff projects that to me always. I take alot of time piking out glasses and knowing how ruff I am on my glasses, they are so kind and helpful when I bring my glasses in for repairs. Excellant service is provided.
