It was my first time to this clinic. The lady at the desk was super warm and welcoming. Then I had Jennifer waiting to take me back to begin my visit. She was amazing. She was thorough and delicate (my gums and teeth can be very sensitive). She was very personable and made me feel welcome. Then my dentist came in. Mindy was also very personable and friendly. I felt so at ease and welcome my next visit. Thank you everyone .

I've been going to Grand Island Dental Center for quite a few years now and have never had a bad experience. The front office staff is always helpful and kind. Most of the time they know who I am when I walk in and are prompt to check me in and help with any questions. I never wait for longer than what seems, five minutes in the waiting area. My teeth are cleaned promptly and I am always asked if there are any problems im having. Dr McGowan always asks how my personal life is and is quick and thorough. This is easily one of the best dentists office I've gone too. Thank you!

Mindy Reif is absolutely amazing. All 3 kids are so comfortable with her office staff and her. My son was put on an antibiotic due to an abscess due to some adult teeth coming down. A few of the baby teeth are scheduled to be removed. However, the pharmacy stated they didn't have the order but after calling Mindy after hours she promptly made sure the pharmacist correct his error.

Dr. Mindy Rief is, by far, the best dentist I have ever had. I HATE having to go to the dentist. And yet I am always amazed at her ability to provide high quality work with an absolute minimum of any discomfort. The entire staff is the best! Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and professional.

I chose Dr. McGowen to take over my case after my dentist of 35 years retired. Because of my history with head/neck cancer, I was concerned that I have a doctor who would consistently monitor my health. I choose to use alternative health care for 80% of my health care needs. I had hoped to find a doctor who would support my choice and not ridicule me. Dr. McGowen meets all my needs. Besides that, he's a nice guy and his staff are friendly and efficient. I chose well.

Very impressed with GIDC! This was my very first appointment with them, and it was the first cleaning in a LONG time that I didn’t leave in pain. I have sensitive gums and would leave appointments at my previous dental office in pain for a day or two. But not this time. Abby and Dr. Rief were so kind and compassionate. You can tell they truly care about their patients.

My hygeniest, Abby, was so nice and knowledgeable. It had been awhile since I had been to the dentist, and I was self conscience on how bad my teeth had gotten with just regular brushing and no cleanings. Abby made me feel comfortable and did an amazing job! Dr. Rief was also amazing! She explained all the procedures and answered all my questions! Very personable! Front desk staff was also very courteous. 10/10 all around!

Excellent service, probably one of the best dental offices I have ever been too, Dr. Mindy Rief & Dr Shay McGowan are two of the best in the business. I’ve had a few problem teeth that Dr. Rief has had to fix from past Dental mistakes with excellent results. My family has been very happy with the service provided by the office and the dentist.

I used to always need gas...even for a cleaning. My last hygienist convinced me to give it a try without the gas and I'm almost embarrassed that I used to ask for it, and I always had to pay for the gas out of pocket because it wasn't covered. Super happy about that.

These doctors have the best staff ~ courteous, professional , knowledgeable ~ as are the doctor's, themselves. They cultivate a relationship w/their patients that goes beyond the necessity of obtaining oral care, and I cannot recommend this dental center highly enough. Dr Mc Gowan has been my dentist for decades, literally, and on the rare occasion that he is not available when I'm seeking his services, Dr Rief steps in seamlessly. Any questions I may have about my care are answered fully and to my satisfaction at all times. I have never been kept waiting an inordinate amount of time, and it's very clear that these professional recognize that my time is as valuable as is theirs. On several occasions, I have called w/a dental emergency, and I have always been worked into the schedule the very day of the call, and even then, have not had to wait an unexpected length of time. I would sing their praises from the rooftops, and highly recommend both doctors to anyone needing dental care or advice.

Absolutely everyone at this clinic is taking care of the “patient”. If there was a higher rating than excellent I would have chosen that! You get a smile from everyone, my first name is Carolyn, but I go by Jean. I have been going to Dr. Mindy for around 3 years and I always am addressed to as Jean. I have been going to the same medical dr. For over 30 years and they still all call me Carolyn! I have been happy with all my dental work, the billing is always correct, they answer all questions politely and professionally............. I am so thankful that we are now going to Dr. MINDY!!!!

The waiting room was nice and the wait wasn't too long. Once in, I had one of the most thorough cleaning I've ever had. They were very nice and had great conversation. The dentist was very nice and informative. This is a great place! I am so glad I made the switch to Grand Island Dental Center!

Here is a very professional dental team that will take care of all your dental needs. The front desk staff are friendly and nice and so are the hygienist and dentist. Their office and equipment are clean and state of the art. The hygienist and dentist are very knowledgeable and concerned for your dental health. I have received exams, cleanings and a crown from them and my first visit was in 2000.
