Doc is great, thorough and personal. I was surprised to be greeted in the eyeglass room by: "So your not getting glasses today?" This was very impersonal to me, no "hi, how are you", etc. I felt like she was more interested in selling me something (on commission?) vs. myself personally.

This was my first visit to see Dr. Fillmore and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. He was friendly and conversational, putting me at ease right away. He also explained the tests what they meant in a way that didn't make me feel dumb which some doctors tend do. Overall it was a great visit.

I probably should have expected it, but was surprised that a total of two hours were needed for the whole appointment. It was especially hard to wait the extra 20 minutes or so after the glasses were picked out to see the doctor one last time.

I had to wait less than 15 min., but there 2 other times I sat in the chair in the glasses room for no apparent reason other than being led into the next phase of my exam--also before I could leave again for no apparent reason. It was not a problem for me on that day, but if I was wanting to get somewhere else, I would have been late. I had to walk home due to a car issue, no one remembered to give me sun glasses because I had drops in my eyes. By the time I got going I wasn't going to go back to ask. Please remind staff about the importance of sun glasses. In the winter we are not usually prepared with them.

As I told Dr. Fillmore, if it wouldn't seem awkward, I would tip the Dr. dr. Fillmore is BY FAR the best professional person I have ever met, and has always been the best experience I have received. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Fillmore. If I had to mention one area of improvement that I see it his staff in the eyeglass area. They are not nearly as professional as the Dr. They do not have the same mannerisms as the Dr. has, and it takes away from the "Spa" feeling and comfort the Dr. Has given you. I truly believe Dr. Fillmore could be recognized nationally for his service, he is that good to my family! Thank you! Rick Stewart 419-543-2283
