The staff, from Jennifer to Dr. Strickland and all in between, are always so gracious and kind! Jennifer knows my schedule and is always trying to hook me up with dates that work! This office has helped heal the bad experiences I’ve had, even as a kid. I love my dentist, his nurses and everything about Active Dental. I truly appreciate their knowledge and gentle touch!!! ❤️

All members of family now treated at this location, and all satisfied. I am 73 and have been served by dentists in Grand Prairie since 1981. This one is best so far. My daughter is difficult to serve and she feels at ease with the doctor and staff.

Jennifer did an OUTSTANDING cleaning on both my husband, Jeff, and I. We were very pleased with the cleaning and the professionalism of both Jennifer and Dr Strickland. We searched for over 6 months last year to find a dental service before choosing Active Dental. This is our 2nd visit for cleaning and we could not be more ecstatic about how well we were treated. Dr. Strickland and his staff were very responsive and receptive to my dental situation and needs. My problem was quickly assessed and resolved. First time to use this dentist. I was nervous at first but the minute I walked into this office I felt totally at ease, the front office help were very kind and genuine. When I met Dr Strickland I felt even better about our decision to try a new dentist in the Grand Prairie area. We can’t say enough good things about this dentist we are very happy we made the choice between three possibilities to go with Dr Strickland. We would recommend him to anybody and everyone in the area. Jennifer was extremely kind, patient and friendly....we love her!

Prior to my first office visit to Active Dental, the friendly staff called me 24 hours to remind me of my appointment. Upon my arrival, the office was clean and neatly arranged. The friendly office staff greeted me and were highly professional while providing clear instructions of their information requirements prior to my examination.They used the latest dental technology to quickly and accurately prepare all necessary x-rays and scans. Dr. Strickland & staff explained every aspect of my dental care in a very comprehensive and plain manner. We are happy that our dental plan referred us to Active Dental (GPTX Location). Overall experience was awesome!

It wasn't explained to me what was going to happen when I came in I thought I would just have been taking an x ray and have the dentist tell me if he could remove my wisdom teeth or not. But he pulled my lips back for two seconds and said he couldn't help me with my problem and charged me 20$ more than what I was expecting to pay calling that an oral exam. Not only am I not going to return, any friends, co workers, and family who asks me for my opinion about a good dentist I will tell them any dentist but this one. I was greeted warmly but I am just so upset I paid almost thirty dollars just to find out that this dentist couldn't be able to help me with my problem. Waste of time and waste of almost 30 dollars.

This was the worst visit process ever. My actual dental treatment was great. But the scheduling process was not. I had an appt scheduled 6 months ago and confirmed earlier this month via Internet. I had visit also in my planner so I was aware of my visit. On the day before my visit, I noticed that I had missed a call 15 minutes earlier. I immediately returned call only to hear that Jessica cancelled my appt due to her not getting a hold of me. (With the 15 minutes of her calling me and me returning the call). I was furious and asked why it was cancelled based only on the fact that she called me during MY working hrs and because she missed my verbal confirm. She informed me if a stupid policy that if we call u and can't get a hold of u, she must cancel. I became more furious because there wasnt a mess nor was there anot attemt to get a hold of me or even to get a hold of them in a timely manner. Once I got to the visit I reiterated. She locked also locked the door on us also.

Best of luck to you, but the next time a consultant comes in and tells you all the fancy ways to increase your revenue, someone over there needs to stand up and use some common sense. Insurance pays for people to get their teeth cleaned. It's one thing to pay extra for fillings, bonds, caps, braces, guards (which i've done with you all in the past >$1K)... it's another to invent ways to overcharge for a teeth cleaning. NO biggie, someone else will do it I guess.

I brought all 5 of my kids for their cleanings and check-ups. A couple of them were very nervous, especially about the x-rays. Jennifer made all of them feel very comfortable. So much so that when we let, my 8 year old asked, "Dad, when do I get to come back"! Staff is so friendly and genuine. We have finally found a home for all of our dental needs.
