Dr. Bath and his team are great! I have had on two separate occasions, a molar with a prior root canal performed, which became abscessed years later. Dr. Bath extracted both teeth, did bone grafting, and subsequently installed new implants. The process has been easy and given the time between procedures, it allowed me adequate time to plan for the expense. I chose this implant option over a bridge because the integrity of my jawbone was very important to me, and for the fact that I didn't want to have a bridge damage my surrounding teeth.

I had needed dental surgery in FL while vacationing. Due to complications, I needed follow up care from a dental surgeon. Several surgeon offices would not take me. Dr. Bath's office accepted me as a patient. He continued to care for me the next 6 months with a few minor surgeries until finally being released last week.

Everyone was very nice and thorough. No one made me feel as if I should rush with anything they asked me to do. Being from “Old School”, I have always been terrified of dentists & will put off going till I absolutely have to, expecting to be fussed at for letting my teeth get in such bad condition. My son and I were there for 2 hours for a consult. Waited 30 minutes to see the doctor himself after being instructed to watch a 10-minute video (after which we waited another 15 minutes to see the doctor). Kept waiting again to review dental insurance coverage. Waited again to have ct scan. In summary: arrived at the office at 3:00 and left the office at 5:00. I suspect the surgery itself will take less time. Not sure if this is normal, but I work at a law office and have never kept a client waiting more than 10 minutes. Very sad

I felt I had to wait one hour before I was seen, and then they couldn't find the exrays my doctor had sent to your office and they told me you had received them at the time they were sent. My time is important too.

After breaking my jaw in October and living in horrible pain since, Dr. Bath gave me hope that my life may be able to return to normal after all. I liked Dr. Bath but I feel the cost of extracting one tooth and placing and implant was high. 6,000.00 of which I would have to pay 4,000.00 after insurance. Going to try another dentist and hopefully it will be more affordable. Who knows, it may not be.

This was my first interaction with Dr Bath and his staff in a consultation for removing a tooth and preparing for two implants. Everything was explained, X-rays reviewed and pros and cons for the procedures thoroughly discussed. I left impressed by their professionalism. Dr. Bath's staff are the most delightful and fun ladies; I enjoyed my visit to the dentist for the very 1st time EVER! Dr. Bath was clear, concise and poised in patience in response to my many questions and concerns prior to my procedure. He is extremely optimistic whereas I have some worries in regard to pain levels (and I abhor shots!). After my consult with Dr. Bath, my anxiety levels have dropped considerably. He did not make me feel rushed in discussing my concerns and "what ifs"; this is a trait that not many doctors have, taking time to listen. Thanks a bunch, ladies and Dr. Bath!

Fantastic office! As someone who works in the medical field I felt I did as best of research ahead of time and found the reviews to be correct. My child requires wisdom teeth extraction and our insurance (United Concordia) covered this provider. The office was inviting and the staff were friendly and attentive upon our arrival. Dr. Bath has great bedside manner. He was engaged and encouraged questions. He explained the details of the procedure in layperson language. His approach made me feel like a partner in my child’s care and not a patient. He is easy to talk with and we swapped children naming stories which was hilarious.

I was so beyond pleased with my experience here. If I could do all of my dental work here, I would. I have never walked out of an office with a complete understanding of what the entire procedure consists of plus exactly what I will pay out of pocket. Quite a confusing set of events did eventually lead to my tooth extraction but not as I had planned. Initial call into the office was for extraction with something more than numbing and nitrous. After initial visit (1pm) not being in the appointment book, I spent 2 hours filling out paperwork and talked to staff about returning the next day for the procedure. Since it was with some type of anesthesia, I was bringing a driver. Initially it was at Bexley office. Then moved back to Ptown at 9:30. On my drive home, I received a call and the appt was moved to 10:40. I didn't think I needed to remind the office of my need for anesthesia of some type. On appointment day, my daughter drove me. I then discovered that it was a short office day and noone was prepared (hadn't pulled drugs or something) for anything other the nitrous. Dr. Beth did a great job of explaining and trying to calm my fears and concerns. But, it was a HUGE mistake!! The tooth is out - final outcome, but not a pleasant ordeal AT ALL! Never again. If a procedure is needed, and I cannot be accommodated as scheduled, I definitely WILL NOT proceed. I'm sorry for any discomfort imposed on any other patient in the office while I was having the molar pulled. I knew it was cracked and would have to come out in pieces. It Was Just Awful. Dr. Bath did the best he could with me in that situation, but it could have been avoided. In hindsight, I should have left and returned the next day. My mistake. Thanks to everyone for your attention to me that day.

I was very impressed with the courtesy and friendliness of every person we interacted with here. The doctor took his time to walk me and my daughter through all the details of her procedure and all of the next steps in her treatment plan. He talked directly to her which was awesome. He made sure that we BOTH knew we could come to him with any questions. Dr. Bath performed extracted my daughter's wisdom teeth years ago I did an excellent job. I currently am in need of an extraction & implant & went back to his office for this reason. They were running behind due to COVID restrictions & I'm very patient & understanding to it...waited an hr before being seen & person in office was very nice & overall staff is very professional & explains everything well. I paid $100 for this appointment & then had another appointment scheduled for the "financial" appointment to go over costs/insurance coverage. I called the main scheduling number & was treated so rude by the individual answering the phone that I will no longer be going to Dr. Bath, regardless of the $100 I already paid. She clearly did not want to answer anything I asked her & was in a rush to just get off the phone - Good luck to anyone who calls & gets this individual- and I'm NOT one to complain usually. but I refuse to get treated like this from anyone.

Patients time should be deemed equally important as the dental office's. Do not take advantage of the appointment, especially when you require a deposit for a specific time, time afforded the patient. If you are going to be running behind by a specific amount of time offer contact patients prior to their appointment so they may make the decision to reschedule as the additional wait time (past the appt time) may cause them a time issue and therefore the need to reschedule.

I need to have 2-wisdom teeth removed and of course was not excited. I was pleased with the customer service from the staff and Dr. Bath during the consultation, surgery and follow-up. The surgery could not have gone better. While waiting for the procedure the nurses spoke with me and kept be at ease, I was relaxed. The surgery went great and the recovery was short. I would recommend this office, staff and doctor to anyone.

I drove over 3 1/2 hours to have my dental implants placed by Dr. Bath. I have known him for a very long time and I knew that he was the most experienced and knowledgeable surgeon. My consult for an extraction and implant was a pleasant experience. There was thorough conversation and information. I asked my questions and we talked about a plan. Next step is to review financials and schedule the surgery. Pleased that the reviews I’d read before my appointment were on target. Not enough yet to recommend.

I'm always made to feel like I'm the only patient there! Everyone gives me their full attention, no matter how many other patients may be there. They don't rush off to the next person until they are sure they've answered any questions I may have at that time. I'm sure this happens with every patient, and yet, I never have to wait to be seen. They are always on time with the appointments!!

Wasted almost an hour of time to not be seen. First off the appointment was scheduled correctly you didn't even have me in the system. 2nd I wasn't able to be seen based of my secondary insurance which you guys accept at bexley I guess but that shouldn't matter it should have just been billed on my insurance alone. Total waste of time your bexley office does not offer convenient scheduling. I won't ever be coming back.

This was my first time for this oral surgeon on referral from my regular dentist. The woman at the front desk reception was very rude. Her tone with me was curt, and I would have expected a gentler attitude seeing as this was MY 1st time having surgery. I was also disappointed with the process of calling me day of to tell me I had to go to another office after I explained I was driving in from Athens- Ohio University to make the appointment. The receptionist was also very short when explaining next steps and payment process. However the woman who took my xrays was much nicer.

Summer made me feel at home. Dr. Bath was very up front and honest, and listened to me about my concerns and came up with the best plan to manage them. I was never seen by the doctor, but I was allowed to sit in the lobby area for over 45 minutes with no explanation. An employee emerged and I asked if it was common practice to wait for 45 minutes with no communication. She told me someone would come get me shortly; 15 minutes later and a total of 1 hour of my wasted time I politely asked to cancel my co-pay and left. I showed up on time and regret that my time was not respected. Terrible customer service. I know this survey is automatically generated, but to send me this is unprofessional and shows that your office is out of touch with your customers.

The Doctor seemed on the up and up and was nice and all, but the office staff was sub par to say the least. Be careful when discussing insurance, billings and money transactions I would say you may want to even record (audio) the communications. When the E.O.B.'s (explanation of benefits) come in this office doesn't seem to remember what they agreed to charge and so on. Then when you ask for proof of the agreed payments (in writing) they either are unwilling, can't locate it or there is an issue. I have been literally waiting for 6 mos to resolve a bill of less than $150.00 which is utterly ridiculous.

Fantastic! I had a toothache in a back tooth that was killing me. Dr Bath removed in about 5 minutes and it was totally painless. He gave me pain pills but I didn't need them. No kidding, the next morning I felt no discomfort. Still haven't. Dr Bath is my oral surgeon for life.

Dr. Bath was wonderful. I was nervous about my upcoming wisdom teeth extraction but was soon calmed as Dr. Bath is professional yet very personable. This is my first ever surgery so I was not sure what to expect, but was very impressed by how thoroughly Dr. Bath explained this procedure, from the beginning to my after care all within the consultation. One of the things that made an impression on me is your suggestion to have a plan to replace the teeth that has been extracted. Dr. Bath certainly does good work. My procedure was laid out to me, completed quickly and skillfully and then the follow-up was then explained. Everything worked out well. I was quite happy with all of this. My only concern is in the office. There seems to be some stress and confusion. I wonder if it has to do with Dr Batch demanding perfection and juggling multiple offices. Dr. Bath has more than two offices, and his regular staff work at least the Whitehall and Pickerington offices (plus I believe there are the cosmetic surgery offices also). I was at both (nice job on the Pickerington Manor office, by the way).

For three years me and my wife tried to work with an pediatric dentist and oral surgeon and a unname hospitial to have multiple teeth removed. Something was all ways coming up between the three scheduling , vacation or pure incompetent. Well, I was nervous and anxious about getting her procedure done. Doctor Bath is the best, In one place ever thing was completed. I'm very happy with Dr. Bath and his team. Other dentist groups need to pay attention to how professional and good Dr. Bath practice is leading the way.

The only reason I checked no for #3 about the financial options is because the office was short a staff person and we could not wait any longer to talk with someone. I was brought in wrongfully for a follow up before my wisdom teeth surgery. I was told I had an appointment when it was truly for another patient they mixed me up with in the system. I waited 45 minutes in the waiting room and another 15 minutes once I was seated for no reason. It was a giant waste of time.

I would have appreciated more info on how/what to do with denture. Like, see my dentist for adjustments, when I could use adhesive. Thankfully I have a great relationship with my primary dentist but there were unknowns. Info phamlets ir website referrals would have been helpful.
