I have had issues with dentists for years with my gag reflex. Dr Alonso and his assistants are marvelous. They take their time and I just had 3 crowns done at one time. Absolutely recommend.

I am 73 years old and have had a tremendous amount of dental work over the years. As a result, I developed a fear and aversion to dental work and Dentists in general. Dr. Alonso has changed that. I always feel comfortable going to his office. he is friendly, professional, and on time. I never feel like he’s rushing and he does a thorough job. No matter how many questions I have, he answers every one of them, fully and patiently. He provides me with all my options. I trust him implicitly. His staff is also wonderful! Every single one of them is professional, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend this dental practice.

I have always hated going to the dentist until I started going to Dr. Alonso. He makes every effort to make you comfortable and pain free as possible. He also has an extremely friendly staff. I highly recommend him. He also follows up after you have dental work to make sure you are okay. Their office is also good about getting you in if you have an emergency regarding your teeth.

Dr Alonso is a superbly qualified dentist. But, he is so much more. His patience, understanding, and gentle manner made me feel cared for, confident and secure during my most recent dental work for an implant bridge. The anxiety that I had experienced in anticipation of dental appointments for most of my childhood and adult life is no longer a significant issue for me. Dr. Alonso is a professional who makes his patients truly feel that they’re “in good hands.”

I was very impressed with the attentiveness and professionalism of Alonso Dentistry. Every person I came in contact with... Naomi, the receptionist... Neri, the nurse... and Dr. Alonso himself were kind, personable and reassuring during my first visit which involved an evaluation in regard to headaches and ear discomfort. Dr. Alonso is extremely knowledgeable and does all that is necessary to search for causes and assist in reducing pain... He is gentle and patient... answering all one's questions with details and alternatives.

Finding a great dentist is always so hard. Let's face it, no one really likes going to the dentist unless sleeping on a bed of nails is your thing. Some dentists make the experience so degrading by making you feel very insecure about your dental hygiene, all in an effort to sell you on more services you may or may not need. Others have hygienists who are better trained in torture than in cleaning teeth. While even others simply utilize scare tactics and hide behind "preventative dentistry" for selling procedures you really don't need. Alonso and the team were everything I wanted in a dentist. The hygienist was very careful but thorough through the examination and cleaning. The TV was a nice touch to keep my mind off of the heavy cleaning that I needed after a 4 year lapse of going to the dentist. Dr. Alonso did the usual follow up but what was amazing is he just wanted to inform me about the options I had going forward. He was not pushy and when I went to check out, I received actual estimates for each course of potential action forward, complete with insurance coverage information. I can honestly see that Alonso's business plan is to be profitable, but only through gaining the confidence and trust of his patients. I'm sure if I had something major wrong Dr. Alonso would have given me a straight answer, but inthe end it was my decision on what path to take. Thanks for the great experience and I'll be back.

Dr. Alonso and his staff are awesome. This is the dentist you want to go to if you have any anxiety at all. They do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and don’t make you feel silly about feeling anxious. They also don’t make you feel bad if you’ve neglected your teeth for awhile. Dr. Alonso matter-of-factly assesses your situation, kindly tells you what’s going on, suggests a plan and takes you through the steps of what you need to do. I have no worries anymore about going to the dentist because of the great care I get at Alonso Dental. They are the practice that takes care of my sister, her husband.and their kids. I kept hearing what a wonderful job they did and how much they loved going there. It's not often that you hear people enjoy a visit to the dentist (usually due to anxiety), but It's dental practice is much different than others. Each staff member was personable, friendly, and shared their knowledge in a clear, easily understandable way. They were so willing to please and help. I had some travel arrangements that required certain services to be expedited, It called on Dr. Alonso and the staff to be a bit creative in trying to work things out for me. They took such initiative to coordinate everything and did so in a sincere, pleasant way. I never feel rushed when I'm there and the time go so quickly. I also appreciated that Dr. Alonso followed up with me personally a few hours after my treatment and that he is available via cell phone if you need hiim. I'm so happy to be their patient!

You will not find a more compassionate and honest Dentist then Dr. Alonso. His staff is composed of the sweetest hygienists and assistants. They talk to you, they make you feel comfortable and they take their time to ensure your care is their priority. We are leaving Texas to go back to the North East soon and I'm already worried if I will ever find another dentist like Dr. Alonso. From the moment you walk in the door Grace will greet you (and remember you). Not many dentist offices can do that. There are a lot of options for dentists out there but I fear that the art of dentistry isn't exactly what they all practice. You will feel at home and confident in your dental decisions when coming here. I originally went to Dr. Alonso as alternative from new dentist who was not treating tooth pain. This was over 2 yrs ago. Since then, I am happy that I went to Dr. Alonxso. He is a great dentist - friendly, experienced, knowledgeable and great communicator. He explains everything that he does and provides all options to give me all of the information. He give his opinion but also give good and bad about all options and possible post procedure rehab. He does an exceptional job of managing expectations so that I know exactly what he will do and what I need to do post-procedure. I would recommend Dr. Alonso to anyone - adults, teens and children. Great dentist and glad that he is my dentist.

Dr Alanso and staff make the dental experience nice. Upon arrival, you rarely wait for more than five minutes and you are always greeted with a smile and a friendly face. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. Past dentist offices that I have experienced would almost feel like I would be pressured to get things done that didn't necessarily need to be done (I guess so the dentist could make an extra buck off of me.) This never takes place with Dr. Alanso and staff, they handle me with such care and respect. Plus I love that their office is right down the street from my house in Sienna Plantation. Very convenient!

I had 6 teeth removed at once, which is excessive but the pain level was non existent and within 24 hours I was back running at 100% I can honestly say that after having a bad dental experience in my youth which made me apprehensive about dental work I have no worries about seeing a dentist anymore. My wife is having work done as we speak and she agrees that Dr. Alonso is a special gift. Neither one of us feel apprehensive about visits to the dentist anymore. Dr Alanso has a special gift, he walks in humility. Because of that, it is very natural to feel comfortable and at ease around him. I believe that is such an important gift for a dentist because people are often fearful as they give up control of their mouths. He is gentle, very caring, and earns the trust of his client. He truly understands the position of the patient and he elevates that to be most important. In the past, I have compared previous dentists to car salesmen. I have been taken advantage of when it comes to dental work that really did not need to be done but was told otherwise to make a quick buck. Something that stood out to me about Dr. Alanso, I had a cracked filling that could have been replaced a year ago but Dr. Alanso waited and kept an “eye” on it. He knew that it was not necessary and could have waited. That impressed me! He was not eager to make a quick buck. Instead he put my needs first and when the time was finally right to fix it, I trusted him. I also adore Stephanie. When she left for a while, I really missed her presence. It was such a treat to get her back. Stephanie truly cares about the clients and she makes us feel at home. They make a good team! The whole office is wonderful! I have found a rare gem!

Everyone is very friendly, except for the lady at the front desk. But I always refer friends to Dr. Alonso. I also really like the hygenist there. The kids feel very comfortable going and the place is very pleasant.

"Going to the dentist" has always been given a negative image and instills a sense of dread. However, going to Dr. Alonso's office is not scary because of the kind people that are there to greet you and talk you through the process.

I always enjoy visiting this clinic. Dr. Alonso is always courteous, professional and friendly. I receive good service and like the cleanliness of the place. I don't give them five star because for some reason the hygienist is always somebody new and don't know why.

While our current hygienist has been with us for some time now, it is possible that she may have been out on one of the days you visited our office. We have a strong network of hygienists that are able to help us out when our current hygienist is out of the office.
