Every time I make an appointment for my child they do a 1. cleaning 2. put some vitamins in their teeth after a cleaning 3. check up for cavities every 6 months 4. they use x rays every year to check for cavities 5. they extract teeth when the cavity is bad so I believe they do a good job with the kids teeth

We like that they accept Medicaid and love Doctor Baker. The latest visit was a big miss for us, though, since we arrived at 845 for our 9 am visit, yet we're not seen until after 930. Patients coming in for later appointments were seen before us.

I have had the best experience with my son at Apple dental. My son has had some dental problems and we had the worst experience at another dental facility when he was 5 that left us both traumatized. I was referred here and let me tell you I will continue to make the hour and a half drive because of how well they have treated him and I. They treat him like what he is a child who needs explanations for everything they do. They make him feel at ease and I feel like they truly care for him when he was on the chair. My son cried this time too and even the dental assistant took time to wipe his tears. I feel like you need to have so much compassion when working with kids and this place definitely has it. I’m speaking about my last experience this week but the two other times I’ve brought him have been the same. If I can give this place more than 5 stars I would. I will continue to recommend this place for their friendliness, attention to detail, and their overall behavior with parents and children.

Although my experience with the main provider was very positive, I did feel like the dental hygienist jumped right into cleaning my daughter's teeth without any explanation or greeting. My daughter is 2.5 years old and had never been to the dentist before (as indicated on her paperwork). There was no warming her up to anything, or preparing her. She was scared, and I was confused, as her mom. Definitely room for improvement with new and first-time patients.

Lack of care. It used to be a really good practice but with the years became really bad. Only caring about how much patients can get leaving on the side the importance of good treatment. Both of my kids had the same dentist and she did really bad work. Tried to contact management and never returned the call. So sad I used to recommend them but now I’m telling them to move to another place.

Wire from the retainers keep snapping off brackets causing my daughter to get cuts in her mouth. I've call 2 days in a row and no one picks up the phone to schedule her to come in to get that taken care of.

The dentist was rude when entering the room. Didn't even acknowledge me or my son. Dentist baker didn't even tell me what or how the procedure would go. normally at the Fullerton location they take the time to explain from the moment you enter the door, however at the Milwaukee location it was the total opposite. She injected my son without waiting for the numbing cream to take effect, when I addressed that and told her that now he wasn't going to want to go to the dentist she just said OK in a way that almost meant that she didn't care. There was more to this visit over all it was very upsetting, and I believe unprofessional.

I've been bringing my kids to Apple Dental for probably 5 or 6 years now. Not ONCE have I ever had a long wait. Staff was always friendly and professional. The care given is just as you would expect- quick & well done. The doctors seem very patient with children. The communication with appointment reminders are also life savers. I would have missed multiple appointments if not for their call/text reminders. Great place to take your kids! Highly recommend. I've personally referred a few people here.

I was struggling to find a dental office to check my toddlers teeth. No other dental wanted to do a full checkup because my daughter wouldn’t cooperate that is until I came to Apple Dental Care. They were very nice and didn’t give up they tried to find different ways for my daughter to cooperate and little by little she felt comfortable to let them check her. Very professional and patient.

I had to bring my daughter who has extreme anxiety for the dentist to Apple Dental Care. She needed a lot of work done and was put under general anesthesia. I could not be more pleased with the entire team at this office. The front desk girls were so kind and patient. The team with Smile MD - especially Chris, was truly amazing, kind and gentle with my daughter. And everyone else helped my daughter have the best experience she could in her situation. Will be going back in February for a braces consult. Only downside is the scheduling is very far out. I would suggest to schedule while you are there for your next appointment.

Poor service. I switched all my three children to another dentist office. I didn't like the fact we were refuse to be since once because of a payment that was going to be paid in two days. Called to complaint and never got a call back. The doctor never spoke with my regarding my child. The last visit my son was just checked and the doctor said Nothing. I am reviewing based on my last visit . I always have a good experience but this time I went , I was not explained anything about what they were going to do. Questions came from me ,example ; Are you guys not going to take pictures for cavities? Which I was told no only once a year . So I am suppose to wait a whole year to find out if my child has cavities ? That's insane . The dentist was with another patient before she came with us and didn't eve wash her hands . I was disappointed at the last visit And all helpers around looked like they just woke up from bed and came to work . Unbelievable . No-one was presentable .

My 4 year old had to have extensive work done. The 1st appointment did not go as I expected and I felt this was not the right fit for us but, due to insurance this office was the only one we could go to. After finally getting a time frame for his work, everything got better. When I got the call from the anesthesia company, I was so pleased with the level of knowledge the woman on the phone had. She was genuine and kind. When we arrived at the office, we are 45 miles away, it was not long before they were ready for us. Our nurse was amazing! She was straight forward and explained things throughly. She was great with my son and made sure to include him in the conversation. We then met with the anesthesiologist. He was also great. He made sure to assure me that he would not be leaving the room at all during the procedure and he was very kind to my son. The whole team was a great fit. The dentist made sure to explain exactly what the plan was and made sure I understood. The nurse came out multiple times to update on how everything was going. When the procedure was finished, the team came out and let me know how it all went and explained what his condition was currently while coming out of anesthesia. When I got back to my son thr nurse was completely on top of things. She let me know that the way he was acting was completely normal and she even talked to him an reassed him that everything was ok. I was happy with how everything went and how amazing the team was.

I’ve never had any issues at this facility since I’ve been bringing my kids here. But this time been that my son had his first dental appointment and has had medical issues my only expectation was to understand that both parents were allowed in for his dental appointment even with explaining the manager the circumstances there was no level of understanding. Also it’s not like there was many people waiting to be seen or get a cleaning. The only reason why certain scores are off was because only father was allowed in the back and as the other parent not been able to ask further questions is very devastating.

Provider was very friendly. My daughter who is 7 had an infection in your tooth. Before leaving the back she made me feel at ease with the decision of come back ASAP to get the tooth extracted. Once I was scheduling the appointment they couldn’t get me on until the 10th or 24th even tho the provider expressed how it was time sensitive. Now I have to search for another dentist to do the extraction. Front office staff did not seem to care when I expressed I was going elsewhere. It was blank stare “OK”. My daughter has been in so much pain and they did not care. I asked to speak to the provider instead they brought out someone else who sternly said there isn’t any other options. So I was confused was this urgent or not?

I called to have my son seen as an emergency for dental pain he was having . Upon calling the receptionist would not schedule him because he was due for his cleaning and this was supposed to be done first . He went to that appointment to wait until the middles of April to get a tooth extracted. My last three appointment had been rescheduled by the office because of Doctor issues now my child is stuck waiting to get that tooth pulled for a whole month .

I had to call the Milwaukee office once we had arrived to ask where to park because there is literally no street parking around there with all the zoning. I was told I could park safely in the abandoned lot across the street. If that is a practice that you plan on maintaining, please make that clear when people make appointments. I also think it’s important before an orthodontic consult to tell the patient what to expect. When you’re asking a child to put a large metal object into their mouth, it would help to tear that up a bit before you actually tell them what they should be doing. Explain why. Explain what’s happening. I also want to be clear that this is specific to the Milwaukee office. The other office for our dental care has been stellar.

Dr.Hill is amazing and really the reason we keep coming back however the process of getting to see her is horrible. The girls at the front desk are rude. Not all but many have attitudes and make me feel like I’m inconveniencing them. Even getting a balloon for my child was horrible. We were the only ones waiting (and asking) for a balloon and instead of blowing one up bringing it out to go blow up more she waited until she blew up a lot of them. She took her phone with her and I’m sure she was on it doing what she would like to be doing while we had to wait. Another thing is the wait times. I arrived 30 mins early to my appointment which I know I need to wait 30 mins. I don’t understand why 45 mins after my appointment start time that I am still waiting to be called. Again not everyone is unpleasant but the ones that are have me looking for dentist elsewhere. Very disappointing.

My appointment was at 1:30pm.Did not get seen till 2:18pm for them to clean his teeth less than five minutes then I had to wait for the doctor to come and check him. Waited another 20 minutes in there for her only to see him for two minutes. I ended up leaving there at 2:55pm not happy at all worst service ever.

Very fast to get my daughter to the back room but it was not what I expected. I was told over the phone several times the work that needed to be done on my daughter would be done that day. I drove 2 hours to have this appointment last 2 minutes. Once the appointment was completed I spent 40 minutes in the waiting room for someone to come and “schedule” her next appointment. I was not told previously I would need to bring with me $400 to make another appointment. I asked several times on the phone prior to making the appointment if the work would be done at this appointment and i was told it would be. I’m not happy to have wasted an entire day for no reason.

HIPPA violation. when I got to the room, I noticed laptop was not locked and another pts information (name and DOB) and x-rays was viewable. I also did not understand how they would want a 10 day newborn insurance to be active right away as it can take up to 30 days to process and show active. I self paid due to the services that were urgently needed. I asked if once the insurance shows active will they submit claim and I was not given a straight answer. At check out i asked for a detail statement with the services and payment and the receptionist did not know how to print out the information. I was told it was going to be emailed and I did not receive anything.

Orthodontist financial counselor should have better communication skills with patients. It is understood that services are not covered and payments will be arranged. But, patients should feel comfortable asking questions to be answered in a courteous matter. That is why she is a financial counselor and her approach to my questions were out of context. Due to being a health professional I knew how to de escalate and answered my own concerns but I can only see how unpleasant that experience for patients without a medical background could be. Otherwise, if it wasn't for ur pediatric dentists being awesome and the fact the Oral care is great at the facility I wouldn't have returned . Best regards.

The doctor we saw was not welcoming at all and she seemed like she was in a hurry to leave! Her answers were short and she suggested to pull out 2 baby teeth (fours). We expected a lot from Apple dental staffs but we were not satisfied as we expected. Because 2 Spanish female nurses were talking each other for long time about something in their language next to us even when we are inside the exam room and we feel like those nurses did not care/respect us at all. Also female Indian dentist came to the exam room and she checked my child very fast in 2 min while she was standing, and she was hurrying. She even did not sit down while she was checking my son and did not comfortably see our child and did not put the SDF /which protect from cavity/ well including all cavity teeth just touched up. We felt like this doctor is seeing our son very careless and rushing. I think she has too many patients and maybe too tired of seeing new patients. The dentist told us come to us every 6 months to put the sdf otherwise if any tooth problem come out your regular dentist will send you here again. But we prefer our regular dentists more than Apple dentist because they really care us and communicate with us respectfully and take time to see us and talk with us and smile when examining, and they put the sdf very carefully including all necessary areas of the teeth. Why we have to come back to Apple dental to have incomplete sdf or unrespectful service only for having the sdf as wasting time and money. We live far from the Apple dental even though we expected a lot from our first visit but did not really satisfied the service. Also we felt like if we have any service there I am sure they are going to serve us worse than our regular dental clinic. We thought that we never recommended this dental clinic to somebody and decided never come back here again.
