Dr Flynt and all of the staff were very knowledgable and kind. My young daughter also joined me for my appointment and they were so great to include her. I appreciate that Dr Flynt is proactive and open to homeopathic approaches rather than jumping straight to western medicine. NO STARS! I am terribly disappointed with my visit to your office.. I now have to go to a reputable OD in Oak Harbor to re-examine my eyes to check my prescription - my left eye is not up to par. I really did not appreciate the insinuation that I had not taken steps to make the insurance viable. Not only that, in additional to my $20.00 copay, I paid another $45.00 for a charge that could not be explained to me. The $45.00 should have been billed to my insurance company. Consequently, I have filed for a reimbursement of that money, at my insurance provider's request. The whole experience left me feeling I had somehow been taken advantage of, not adequately taken care of, and I had very little value as a patient customer. What a mess.

The staff and doctor were extremely kind and professional. I had not been for an eye exam in years and they made me feel very welcomed. I have trouble with the dilation so they suggested a picture instead and that was so easy!!! The staff who helped me pick out frames was super nice and helpful with no pressure. Great experience and friendly staff. I was able to get in on a cancellation which was welcome, since it had been years since my last eye exam. Dr. Davies explained a few minor age-related issues which had concerned me putting my mind at ease. With my updated prescription, I selected new frames with the help of their helpful optician and am now looking forward to new glasses. Highly recommend!

The eye doctor was knowledgeable and friendly. The front staff had a newer person that was quite rude about the mandatory mask policy. Please consider keeping some by the door and toning it down. The general public is over it on masks so even though they are required in health care settings. Please be more polite.

I am very appreciative of Bayview Vision and have been 100% pleased with my experiences at this clinic. I was initially drawn to the location because it is minutes from my home; it could not be any more convenient. Over the past several years, I have come to highly respect, and enjoy, being a patient of Dr. Colella's. He is personable, very experienced, transparent, candid, a good communicator and thorough. Every year, at my annual exam, I am repeatedly surprised at the thoroughness of the process. The staff members are responsive, friendly and also very professional. During this Covid era, everything feels extremely safe. It's a great team! And, for what it's worth, they do not try to "sell" you anything. If your glasses are still okay, they will not push you to buy new ones.

For the past at least 6 months, I had been suffering with what I thought were allergies. My eyes were red, itchy, sensitive to light. On some days, they seemed to be better than others, which is what made me believe it was allergies. Until one day they got so bad that it became scary. I was referred to BVC by a friend. Despite having a very busy week, when I described what was going on, they squeezed me in right away and I found out I had a Staph infection in my eyes! Dr. Colella was very good at explaining everything and answering all of my questions. He gave me a prescription for antibiotic eye drops as well as a 2-month supply of an oral antibiotic to address things from the inside so hopefully this will be 100 percent eradicated, never to return! I am so grateful to have my clear, green and WHITE(!) eyes back and would not hesitate to recommend BVC. (Extra bonus: they even accepted my Kaiser insurance!!)

Bayview Vision Clinic was fast, thorough and efficient, working me in for a complete eye exam following my (completely unexpected!) failure of the vision test when I went for a licence renewal. Bayview Vision has provided my vision care for the five years I have been an island resident, but I had been lax about the annual exam. That will no longer be the case...they will be seeing me on a regular basis. Thank you to entire staff at BVC.

The office is always welcoming! Both the initial exam and the exam by Dr. Cohella are done with expert care. He answers my questions in a very user friendly fashion. He's up to date on specialists when you need cataract surgery etc. He's also up do date on the latest contacts, etc. to answer individual needs.

I'm very pleased to have Bayview Vision so conveniently located. My own situation has been somewhat of a "non event", but in a bit more complicated scenario, my husband needed cataract surgery in 2018. Dr. Collela's referral to the surgery center in Mt. Vernon was outstanding (an extremely professional team up there) and the fact that Dr. Collela could perform the interim exams was perfect. I am very pleased with all aspects of the service at Bayview Vision, in addition to the incredible convenience. The entire team is professional, the exams are thorough, Dr. C. takes the time to make it a personal, one on one experience, and they have a decent selection of stylish frames for new glasses. Whenever one of my pairs of glasses needs an adjustment, or repair, they are super accessible and willing to solve the issue.

It's been many years since I've visited an eye doctor. I was met with a very comfortable and relaxed environment. I feel good about having Bayview Vision Clinic as my 'go to' for my vision needs.

Recently, had my eyes checked at Bayview Vision Clinic, and I am very pleased with the help received. I have learned much about the condition of my eyes and very glad I didn't wait longer for a check up. This team was outstanding, I broke my glasses in the morning getting ready for work, I stopped by and they got me fixed up! I was so pleased. I had a very sore eyelid and swollen area around my eye. Bayview Vision got me in to see Dr. Colella the same morning I called for an appointment. He diagnosed it as a stye on my upper eyelid and prescribed an antibiotic to address the infection. It is improving daily and I expect a full recovery.

Dr. Colella made time for me during the Christmas holidays to treat a very painful condition. He then came to the office on a Sunday to check on me before I had to leave the Island. I will always appreciate that. I happily drove 2 1/2 hours to have him do my check-up and prescription. I have no intention of seeing another O.D. as long as he is still in practice.
