Dr. Mohler and his staff are an excellent representation of what every dental office should be like. I'll admit going to the dentist in the past was something I'd rather avoid, well not anymore. Dr. Mohler is patient, kind and seems far more comfortable in his knowledge of state of the art dental procedures than anyone I've ever seen. Dr. M was nice but his office manager is quite snippy and was quite mean when I developed a mouth infection following a cleaning. Said it was probably from a preexisting sinus infection to see a doctor. That wasn’t their “area”. It was an infection from a cut in mouth that occurred during my cleaning, it was bad, two weeks on soft foods and antibiotics. dr M still hasn’t returned my call.

I just recently had my regular teeth cleaning and everyone was amazing. I had to bring two of three kids and when my infant decided he wasn’t happy in his car seat anymore they pulled him out and tried to comfort him while I was still in the chair finishing up. They entertained my 7 year old and talked to him and even gave him a new toothbrush and a pick from the prize chest. Seriously that alone means so much to me and I really appreciate it!!!!

Another visit to the dentist, and again an all out great experience. First of all, the receptionist Stephanie is the perfect example of friendliness, and customer service. Due to work I had to cancel my appointment twice, I called in advance to inform them and Stephanie worked with me to accomidat my schedule, other customer service personnel should emulate Stephanie's professionalism. As for Dr. Mohler, I had another root canal done and as always, I felt nothing. Dr. Mohler kept me informed throughout the whole process. Myself being quite the chicken when it comes to the dentist, am very grateful for Dr. Mohler and his team. Highly recommended!

I suggest you consider reminding those patients who require premeds when you confirm appts. I have been turned away due to being unaware of your policy in the past, and while waiting for this appt. saw a patient turned away for same. A prior dental practice I used kept medication on hand and also reminded them when requesting appt confirmation. I would be surprised if the patient I witnessed returns.

Really impressed with Dr. Mohler's level of understanding of my breathing issues and sleep battles. Suffering from sleep apnea related to my bite and mouth being open during my sleep. Being tongue tied I understand didn't help either. Dr. Mohler clipped my tongue tie and had a new night appliance made for me. This has been helping me tremendously find relief. Besides taking care of a split crown and other basic dental needs. What a truly great team to work with!

I first saw Dr. Mohler while needing emergency dental work while on vacation at Hilton Head. I was so impressed with him, his staff, and his technology that I now drive a few hours to Dr. Mohler's office for all my dental needs. Stephanie in the front office is awesome, and I truly appreciate her high level of professionalism. However, the newer lady (or at least one I haven't worked with in the past) seems to be unaware of procedures and didn't listen to my situation as I attempted to determine what level of care I needed. While explaining my situation, it was obvious she wasn't listening to what I was explaining to her, never addressed or answered the questions I asked, but only wanted to schedule a new appointment vice working to understand if something else was needed. While I didn't believe I needed it, I made the appointment but am still frustrated at the lack of listening. I may be wrong in the need for a follow-on appointment, but had she simply addressed the question directly, I would have a better understanding if the appointment is actually needed.

Broke a tooth and Beaufort is our second home. Our regular dentist is in DE. Called Dr. Mohler's office ( our daughter's dentist) and they had me in immediately. Accessed the situation and set me up for a follow up appt within days. The office personnel, dental assistant and Dr. Mohler could not have been more professional, kind and gave me excellent care. My tooth is fixed and I am one happy camper!

I highly recommend Dr. Mohler - having dental issues requing both extractions and implants, he went above and beyond to make sure I wasn’t at any risk from taking medications for my osteoporosis. I was especially impressed that it was he that called me with answers and follow ups to my surgeries. Having worked with dentists up north I never had one call me personally or give me his cell phone if problems arose. I give him 10 stars!

The personnel are very professional, considerate, knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. They always meet my dental needs and care when I visit them. They work with your schedule, not theirs' to make sure that you get the treatment needed. They tell me if I have a problem that needs attention, but never forces me into making any decision at the moment, but allow me to let them know when I can do work needed along with the cost of the procedure to be done. I'm taken in on time or no more than 5 minutes past my appointment. I live considerable distance from their office, but always go back to get my dental needs met. They're the best dental professionals I have ever had and will continue to use them for my dental needs. After serious consideration of what Dr Mohler delivered was needed to be done and having been satisfied with his work for over 7 years I scheduled the extraction and implant. It went well, in a very professional way and I experienced minimal discomfort with hardly any after pain medication with the exception of two ibuprofen 800 mg over a 24 hr period. I moved here from the North back in July and really hadn't had my teeth cleaned since I'd moved, so I called Dr. Mohler's office and set up an appointment for a cleaning. Scheduling was easy and I got a ton of reminders (which I need). When my appointment day came I didn't know what to expect the building to look like. I got there and was super impressed, Dr. Mohler has a water fall sign with his practice's name on it and the equipment and furniture itself proves that he has put a lot of money into the place. Jane cleaned my teeth and she was awesome! Lastly, Dr. Mohler is a very honest man. I have had a chipped tooth for about ten years and I have considered getting it refilled since the original filling came out. He took a look at my tooth and said that he could do it, but he would just be taking my money for the filling would more than likely give again. I appreciate this kind of honesty. So thank you Jane and Dr. Mohler and thank you to the secretary for making my experience feel effortless.

I hope I never need to see a different dentist again. Dr Mohler's practice is a rare find for dental care--someone who isn't trying to sell you things you don't need, looks at problems holistically, listens to the patient, and doesn't book appointments back to back and then make you wait. I had massive jaw surgery 15 years ago and have had lots of complications with my bite, including chipped enamel along the gum line of my molars from uneven pressure. With every other dentist I've seen for a cleaning, they make comments about staining on my teeth coming from drinking coffee, tea, or wine when actually it comes from gum recession caused by my jaw surgery and the previously mentioned chipping of enamel. The hygienist and Dr Mohler's, Jane, was so gentle and did a great job carefully cleaning my teeth without making me feel like it was my fault they had stains. Dr Mohler spent several hours talking with me to understand my dental/medical history and made the connection between my chronic neck and shoulder problems and my jaw and bite issues. Using his state of the art, 3D CAT scan/x-ray machine, he identified an anomaly with my top vertebrae and a separate issue with my sinus cavities. Before this, I had never been able to get a medical professional to think outside their own specialty to look at my medical and dental issues holistically. Each person I see thinks all the other ways of approaching an issue are less valid, which really limits quality of care. Before treating me, Dr Mohler sent me to see a chiropractor and sent the x-ray scan to an ENT colleague to make sure everything was ok with my sinus. Now he is making me a mouth guard I can wear during the day without disrupting my speech or being very noticeable any other way, so that when my neck muscles get tight and my jaw is pulled out of alignment my teeth are protected from the temporarily uneven bite.

I came in for a routine teeth cleaning and to fill a cavity that had been noticed several months ago. Dr. Mohler and his assistant Holly were very professional and explained to me that my "cavity" was bigger than what they thought and became a root canal. Thanks to their efficiency and high technology I was able to get the procedure done within an hour and after the numbness subsided there wasn't anymore pain.

Dental care is very difficult for me, I'm not sure why but having oral care causes me a lot of anxiety. I have never had a dental team that provided such excellent care, not only for my oral health but addressing my needs as an individual. I don't think I'll ever "enjoy" going to the dentist, but Dr. Mohler's team makes me as comfortable as possible. I really appreciate the time, effort, and personalization that Dr. Mohler's practice provides for me.

As a former military family, we have experienced dentists in many places around the US--22 dentists in all, both good and bad. I have always dreaded going to the dentist in the past due to some very negative experiences. No anxiety or worries about dental care any longer. Dr. Mohler is a wonderful dentist and we receive outstanding dental care. Jane is the best dental hygienist we have had! Love the smiles, positive attitudes, kindness, and genuine care when we have our visits.

Very clean and friendly environment everyone makes you feel welcomed I came in and waited less than 10 minutes and was seen was only supposed to go for an x-ray after x-ray showed I needed to wisdom teeth taken out they went ahead and did it that day I feel so much better they were amazing and definitely recommend them and definitely will be back to see them

The hygienist was new to me; I was expecting to see Jan, however the hygienist did a good job. The only complaint I have (and I told her this already) she needs to have her fingernails cut shorter because I was able to feel hey nails scraping my gums (when her fingers were used to assist her in the different hand manuevers) or either sticking me, which hurt more than the instruments.

I'm needing a overall dental plan. My first time visiting I had to get a root canal I paid a good amount for this visit. I now need another root canal and crown which will be $1400.00 I wish the Dr mohler would have tried to understand my finanal need. I also have tmj and have constant headaches. With this dental office I was hoping to sit down and talk with the dentist go over a dental plan instead I felt talked around and just another number. I am now trying my best to find someone who understands the constant pain I'm in not only from tmj but dental problems. I understand how coming to work day in and day out it gets routine but try to look from a patients eyes who needs dental help so badly and can't find someone to understand that dental even with insurance can cost up to $10000.00 or more. The staff seems very nice sometimes it takes a listening ear to see the whole picture. Iv tried care credit I don't have enough credit history to qualify. I'm desperate at this point to find some kind of help. I'm in pain everyday. Wishing one day to have that perfect smile.

I've never been a big "fan" of going to the dentist, but I've been to Dr. Mohler for several appointments now and I can honestly say that I actually look forward to it! I know that each time, I'm going to come out better than I was when I went in. Dr. Mohler is fantastic and everyone there is so amazing! They are without a doubt, the nicest, most professional and most caring group of people I've ever come across! I really can't say enough nice things about Dr. Mohler and his staff. They are all absolutely wonderful. I really do feel "at home" there, and the doctor and many of his staff feel more like friends...even family. My dental impressions were done about a month ago and then last week, Dr. Mohler (assisted by Amanda) did all my extractions and immediately put in my dentures. I was a little concerned going in for the extractions, of course the thought of getting teeth pulled is never a pleasant one. But Dr. Mohler and Amanda put me VERY much at ease and also made sure that I didn't feel a thing...which I didn't. Now, for the first time in many years, I'm not ashamed of my smile anymore. Prior to this appointment I had no front teeth, only 1 broken "fang" (the crown from a root canal by my previous dentist was horrible and literally did look like a fang!). I rarely smiled in pictures and when I did, it was always "close-lipped". If I laughed in public, I quickly realized that my mouth was open, and I'd stop. Thanks to Dr. Mohler and his incredible staff, all of that has changed. I'm no longer afraid or ashamed, or embarrassed to smile. I'm happier. I laugh a lot more. I have more self-confidence. And best of all, I know that if I need anything, they're just a phone call away. Dr. Mohler and his staff are a God-send!! And not only would I never even CONSIDER going to anyone else, but I've gladly recommended them to everyone at work who asks me "your teeth look GREAT, who did them?"...or my personal favorite "where'd you get that beautiful smile?" I couldn't be happier!!...and I can't thank them enough!!
