I was a new patient. There was no wait time. Took me back at the appointment time. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The selection of eye glasses was nice and diverse. Also, I loved how thorough Dr Love was and how she took time to explain everything about the process and my eyes. I found my new eye doctor.

Dr. Angela Washington is the only one I trust! Dr. Washington is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, patient, friendly and trustworthy. I drive over 45 minutes just to be seen by her every time I need my eyes checked. She’s the best!

Dr. Love has been my doctor and my girls doctor ever since we moved to FL almost 8 years ago. She is very caring and loving to me and my girls. We don't live in Clermont anymore, but we travel over 50 miles to our appointments because we wouldn't change doctors for all the doctors in the world.

Dr. Love was amazing. She turned what was a terrible appointment (not the staff's fault) into a calming and reassuring visit. My son was so nervous and scared but she calmed him down, was quick to establish trust, made him feel comfortable, and got him through the appointment. The glasses we received for my son were not the ones he picked at his appointment. When we noticed and mentioned it to the office staff they were extremely rude and lied to us. We made an appointment to come exchange and I was not given/offered a receipt or any paperwork documenting the exchange for a new pair. We were told it would take about a week for the new pair to arrive. It has bene almost two weeks and we still have not recieved my sons glasses. We loved our exam experience with Dr. Love, but it's hard to justify coming back when the front office/optician gave us a a terrible time.

I had a complete eye exam from Dr. Love she is great. (I dealt with (Kailip) to look at frames this is when things took a turn for the worst. I asked him to show me eye glass frames that would be no at charge through my (VSP) insurance. He showed me three frames which I wasn't interested in any of them. Kailip left the area Jennifer noticed me looking at the frames asked if she could help, I found a pair of frames I liked asked her what the charge would be through my insurance, she said they were covered under my insurance at no charge. After all I didn't get any frames. I feel as though ( Kailip) isn't knowledgeable at his job.

It's hard to find a doctor's office that isn't stuffy and clinical. Dr. Love and staff are always kind, attentive and make the experience fun. The office is defiantly not stuffy and clinical, it's cozy and inviting. Dr. Love has a special way about her that makes you feel comfortable every visit. This business is advertised as a “family” eye care business, however I found them to not be family friendly. Dr. Love had very little patience for my 5 year old son with a sensory processing disorder. While my son was very polite but struggled to stay perfectly still during the exam, Dr. Love was noticeably irritated. After the exam was finished, Dr. Love failed to explain his diagnosis. I asked if he needed glasses, and the most explanation I received was “Yes, he needs to wear glasses all the time.” I received zero explanation if he was near sighted or far sighted, how severe his astigmatism(s) were, etc. After we received my son’s glasses, I called and asked if we could check the prescription because my son was struggling with seeing his school work with his glasses on. My calls went unanswered multiple times. When someone finally did answer the phone, the receptionist said she would check with the optometrist to see how to proceed. I never received a call back. I called again the following day, and the phone lines weren’t turned on during regular business hours. Due to their lack of a family friendly environment and their inconsistent customer service, I don’t recommend Clermont Family Eyecare.

This has been poor the last 4 times we have tried to do business with you. This last time, my wife got an appointment to get her glasses adjusted. The girl did not have her appointment on the books and then had to hunt to find her glasses we were told were there. I'm really glad they quit taking our insurance. We won't have to deal with them anymore. This is unfortunate because we really like Dr. Love.

This eyeglass place was by far the best I have taken my son to. Everyone is so nice. Caleb was truly amazing. He had so much patience helping my son Gabriel pick his frames. He was so incredibly nice and knowledgeable. I recommend this place totally. The frames are so nice and reasonably priced. The receptionist was also very sweet.

Dr. Love was very thorough with me. However, when it came to picking out frames, I wasn't told that if I choose a Care plus frame, I will get a deduction of $200; I was told that Care plus will give me $200. I didn't understand what the deduction was for I chose a frame that I liked, so I paid over $500. Later, while going home from the office, my sister explained that I would have gotten $200 off had I picked a Care plus frame. I went back to the office to check out the Care plus frames but didn't like them. This employee was still very friendly, cordial and helpful but I just wanted it to be explained a little clearer. For the benefit of all. Thank you.

Dr Love, and team are the best. My Wife and i look forward to the appointments every year and wish my Insurance would allow every 6 month visits for we would if we could because not only are we educated with our eyes we learn so much more when it comes to staying healthy the team there are full of knowledge. I always recommend Dr Love to all my friends and neighbors. I better stop for i am know having a hard time getting an appointment now for Dr love is so busy.

I drive an hour here because Dr. Love is so thorough, yet quick. She's welcoming and is always so polite. Thanks Dr. Love. There was also a new young lady there that I hadn't seen before and she was so pleasant to my and my kids. She was helping do certain tests before I saw Dr. Love. They are following Covid protocol and I didn't have to wait long at all to be seen.

Dr Love was very knowledgeable pertaining to questions concerning my vision. Her proactive method to my eye care, will prevent possible future vision issues. However, I understand the safety involved concerning Covid, but the front receptionist needs to be aware of their tone and mannerisms. The individual made me feel very uncomfortable, but when it was time to pay their mannerism and tone was better. I would like to recommend, that this employee receive the necessary coaching and training it takes to be effective in this role. In conclusion, overall the staff was kind and friendly.

Sonya, the lady we deal with for appointments, check in and helping the kids pick out glasses, is not the most personable. She likes to tell the kids exactly what’s wrong with their choice in glasses (and me, the parent, for that matter). All negative. Don’t like dealing with her.
