Dr. Shirazian was very kind and gentle examining my eyes. I was able to book the first appointment for the next day and was able to make it to my job just in time. There wasn't an overwhelming amount of paperwork I needed to complete so as soon as I finished the receptionist took me to the examination room. Dr. Shirazian was thorough explaining what I needed to take care of myself. He was a random choice on a list of optometrists near me and I'm so happy I selected him! He made me comfortable and I'm getting my new lenses on Thursday.

Went to see Dr. Shirazian because he was located very close to my work. Was able to quickly get an appointment and be seen at my lunch hour which was a double bonus. Office is very clean and I received outstanding service. He was able to help me out and get me a great deal on contacts. Will definitely recommend to anyone!

I really liked my experience with Dr. Shirazian. I had a contact lens exam and found him to be very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to talk to. He also had a very kind and positive energy about him. Recently I started experiencing multiple vision symptoms: blurriness, eyestrain and two other symptoms. Dr. Shirazian was the most highly rated optometrist in my vision insurance network, so I made an appointment. He did a refraction on my eyes and concluded that I need "computer glasses" (bifocal lenses where the bottom half is for book reading at a distance of 15 inches and the top half is for computer screen reading at a distance of 30 inches). He said this would solve the problems of blurriness and eyestrain completely. Then he suggested that I come back another day at the end of the day, when he could give me the time necessary to perform a complete eye examination to rule out all other possible causes of my vision symptoms. So I came back another day and he really took his time with me, which was exactly what I wanted. He answered all of my questions, explained everything in great detail, and showed me all of the results from the eye examination machines, including the one that takes pictures of your eyes. He went through both pictures and showed me that everything was perfect with my eyes. Then he performed the refraction again just to make sure it was dialed in perfectly, once with the eye chart 15 inches from my eyes (which is the distance for reading a book), and a second time with the eye chart 30 inches from my eyes (which is the distance for reading a computer screen). Then he gave me a "mock up" version of actual eyeglasses containing lenses at my new prescription, to test out in front of a computer screen and a book. He really let me take the time I needed to make sure the prescription was perfect at both distances. All in all, he was really great in all respects. The eye examination and refraction were comprehensive and perfect. His professionalism was great. His demeanor was relaxed and congenial. I consider him my optometrist now. I will see him for my yearly eye exam and any future vision issues that I have. I recommend Dr. Shirazian highly.

I had to see the doctor urgently and, despite a busy schedule, he made sure to see me at a first opportunity. He gave me all the answers, medication to ease my discomfort, calmed me down and examined my eyes so throughly I felt really taken care of. I'd recommend him in a heartbeat.

There are not enough words to describe what an excellent, caring, highly intelligent and skilled optometrist and human being Dr. Shirazian is, in my experience. My last visit a couple days ago was to discuss whether I should get glasses to wear while I'm waiting for cataract surgery by an eye surgeon Dr. Shirazian recommended because he did his father's eyes, The other doctor's office had said not to wear contacts 2 weeks (and I’m blind without them), but Dr. S took the time to analyze my file and last prescription and said, "Save your money. I am not doing a glasses exam. Your prescription is as high as it will go. And glasses would not enable you to see. They would make it worse." He said he would call their office and explain the situation. In addition, he calmed me down, and made me laugh. His attitude was honest concern, and understanding that I was simply stressed out -- and he tailored my visit to address that. I had not seen him in 3 yrs. He is amazing!

Dr. Shirazian is very knowledgeable about the eye and is very professional. He is thorough and takes time with you, never rushes. His demeanor is always very friendly. He has a new cutting edge machine that takes a photo of the back of the eye without having to dilate your eyes. It shows your optic nerve and screens for eye disease.I highly recommend him!

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had at an eye doctor. I came as a new patient and found the location to be very clean and nice. I was greeted by the doctor when I came in. I filled out some paperwork and was seen right away. Dr. Shirazian could not have been more friendly. I have no issues with things near my eye as I've worn glasses and contacts forever, but the doctor's demeanor would have put anyone at ease. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs an eye doctor.

Front desk is excellent, Dr Foad way past excellent. Gentleman working post exam imo needs to relax...energy too intense. Feels like a salesman who thinks he knows everything. Knowledge is useless if you can't connect w/t patient. How you speak to a 16yo is different than a 60yo...maturity knows the difference.

When I go for my checkups its always a pleasant 30 minutes. He doesn't just cover your eyes and make you read letters. Most doctors do that then scribble some letters on their sheet and ship you out. I love going to Dr. Shirazian! He has helped me for years.
