I have been a patient/customer of E Optometry for many years and am always impressed by the total professionalism of the staff and doctors. The office and all of the exam rooms are always clean and I have been impressed with the HUGE selection of frames available. Whether being examined by the Doctor or fitted by the staff for new spectacles, I have always been treated very courteously, they are attentive to my needs and address me by name - that doesn't happen everywhere. I highly recommend E Optometry.

E optometry is amazing! Quick, professional, and thorough. My dog ate my glasses and then I lost my second pair on the same day! I went and they ordered a pair immediately. Hopefully will see results in a week. I would highly recommend them to others. Plus, they have a super collection of glasses that most places don’t have.

The appointment at E Optometry went well. Over the last 2 years we neglicted our vision care. We chose our initial visit with this practice since we recently relocated to Morgan Hill. The service was top level with the doctor expressing an interest in getting to know my wife and I both medically and business wise. The three office assistance were professional and attentive towards us. Rather than just having us choose ourselves a glasses frame from the shelves, the assistant listened to our preference and picked out 4-5 frame samples to try on. This was very helpful and felt like we received customized service. Now my wife and I are waiting for our final glasses to arrive for the fitting. If all goes as expected with the proper presciption and fitting, we will be satisfied patients. The price for our glasses were expensive due to our poor eyesite. But the cost ( no insurance) will be well worth the price ( waiting for the final outcome soon).

Arrived for appointment on time, was told that my insurance information on file was no longer active. Due to new Insurance info not being available to me at time of appointment, I tried to obtain information from my husband who was in a meeting at work. The receptionist lacked the skills in trying to come up with an alternative solution of me being able to been seen and then taking care of the Insurance information after the appointment or even offering me the option to pay cash. Instead I was treated as though I was slowing down the appointments for the day. As a result I walked out without being seen & will be looking for a new Eye Doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Chung for many years and admired his professionalism. But since the changeover, his hours are very limited so I tried seeing other doctors there. Every time it seemed my kid or I had to wait for at least 20 mins after the appointment time to be seen. I remember it used to be on time or within few minutes of wait. I appreciated it very much as they showed they value patients' time since some of us are on busy schedule as well. With Dr. Chung limited hours and long wait, I might not return.

This was by far the best experience I've ever had at the optometrist (and I've been wearing corrective lenses since I was 12). Every person I interacted with, from the receptionist to the office manager to the optometrist and her assistant, provided absolutely flawless customer service, and I left feeling like I was part of the family. Dr. T was thorough and explained everything so that I understood what she was checking for and what was going on with my eyes. The friendly staff even helped me pick out the perfect new frames and were honest about the added value of lens treatments that cost extra. It was well worth the drive from Willow Glen, and I will certainly be recommending this office to everyone I know.

I have been going to E-Optometry for many years and have always enjoyed the experience. Therefore I was apprehensive when I learned that Dr. Chung was retiring and subsequently selling his business. But it turns out that my reservations about this transition were completed unfounded. My experience: I recently had a bit of an eye injury and since it was on a weekend, I figured I would have to wait until Monday. When I called the office, I obviously got their after-hours voice mail. However, Dr. Truong was kind enough to give her cell phone and I was speaking with her within 10 minutes. She gave me great advise and scheduled an appointment to see me first thing the following morning. She has been beyond responsive and my eye is already on the mend, after only a couple days. I am very impressed with her and the entire staff!

I had been to your office in the past and the people who worked there were very professional. The lady doctor was very nice and professional, but the young lady that helped don't remember her name the one with the heavy makeup she was not informed on my dual insurance she went on to tell me that I could only use of my insurance plans. I asked if she was informed on how my insurance worked she said she was I told her she should get on the phone and call my insurance because I knew she was not informed on my dual insurance. before she sat down to help me she should of gotten on the phone with my insurance to know how it was administrated. she would tell me a prize for the frames and then when I would say there a quite high she would try to sell them to me saying oh no they are on sale. Then why not tell me they were on sale when I first asked for the cost. I felt that the office sales were not honest and pretty high prized.

I came in because of pain in one eye that felt like sand or something. I had seen a regular doctor who said it was an ulcer on my eyelid but I wanted a second opinion from.an actual eye doctor. I came to E Optometry and was so impressed. The doctor did an exam, flipped my eyelid, and a small piece of something was dislodged and the pain was gone!! It was amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful.

I didn’t always feel “heard”, as though you were in a hurry, and I had to repeat info you missed. Equally it was clear you had not read my newly completed medical history. It would be helpful to take time to read your new patient history well, so that all you need to ask are clarifying questions. Then perhaps slow down and really listen to the patient so they don’t have to repeat themselves. There was a real feeling of rushing in the office atmosphere with the girls out there. Outside of that, I’m hopeful the new diagnosis of dry eye and the treatment begun will make a real difference! I’ll want to give a hug if it does!

I was a bit nervous going to my appointment (I had waited far to long to see an optimist.). I had to go as it was oblivious that I need to update my RX. I could not have been more pleased. The doctor was great, the staff and employees made me feel comfortable. Everyone was very professional and yet they were all easy going. I didn't feel pressured in anyway to hurry and pick out my glasses and the woman who helped was a delightful person to deal with, enjoyed her very much. 5 stars and would highly recommend.

I was given clear descriptions of what was being done and why my eyes were changing as well as assurances that there were no other issues at present and that my normal checkup time was sufficient, no special appointments required.. They have lots of machines to diagnose your eyes well. They also will patiently work with you to get the best possible distance range you need for your work/safety glasses. If you are a contractor who pays for your own glasses, get the best opthamologist prescription and optician support here.

Perhaps better follow up or a phone call; a few days in to see how its going. I ended up giving up for a 2 weeks because I had such trouble getting them in and when I called and left a message no one ever got back to me.

The staff was very friendly. I like my new glasses a lot! The only down side related to how my insurance was handled. When I made my appointment I mentioned to the receptionist that my insurance covered eye exams but not glasses. After my visit, I was told that the exam was not covered, because the exam was not performed by an MD. It would have been nice to know that up front.

At this time, I can not think of anything that needs to be changed, or improved. Have been coming to Dr. Chung since my first pair of reading glasses -- back in 1981. I trust my eye care to Dr. Chung. His staff is always very friendly, and professional. Their customer service, knowledge and assistance are outstanding. My husband, David, comes here too, and I would happily recommend Dr. Chung to anyone who need glasses.
