Staff was friendly and helpful, Dr was focused on giving a good exam to see if I needed help with my eyes, at the end did tell me what was happening seemed to happen early 40's like for me.

I moved out of state almost 4 years ago but refused to use another eye dr. I have had 3 others in the past and no one was able to fit me as well as family vision did. So I waited trying to get in when i was back in town and they were always booked but finally got in again and it is still the same great place i remembered 4 years ago.

I would strongly recommend Family Vision Center to anybody. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The doctors and assistants are very knowledgeable and explain everything very thoroughly. They have a variety of services and options of frames, styles, and brands. I really enjoy my visits here.

Five year client—many reasons. My first visit to Family Vision Center (FVC) was in 2018. FVC came highly recommended. During my five years with FVC has gone above and beyond to take care of my vision needs. Some highlights: ▪️Dog ate my glasses 🥴 Family vision saved the day with replacements (little to no cost). ▪️Frame’s broke. Family Vision was able to repair. ▪️Doctor always takes time to explore my vision needs and explain/explore new options. ▪️Favorite highlight. Recently, I visited FVC for a new prescription. With costs of pretty-much-everything on the rise, I was unsure whether I would purchase a set of lenses and frames during my visit. This fact did not stop the optometric technician from taking her time with me, to personalize my visit, as I tried on frame after frame. BUT WAIT, it gets better! The technician then got on her laptop and performed magic ya’ll. I was able to get two sets of lenses and glasses I absolutely adore. Deal of the day!

We have seen both eye doctors at Family Vision Center and they are both great! Very friendly and professional. They are very reasonably priced as well, which is great when you have a large family. We will continue to see the Rebers as our eye doctors, and would highly recommend them!

We've been going to Family Vision Center for about 8 years now. My husband, young kids, and I have visited for annual checkups, glasses, contacts, and eye infections.We're always happy with our visit. All the staff are helpful and often go out of their way to make sure we're taken care of.

Dr. Clay Reber is awesome!! Made an appointment for my daughter and myself. Showed up 15 minutes before my appointment and was called back a little after my appointment time. The ladies behind the counter at reception were warm and pleasant and made us feel welcome. The Dr and his assistants who did the pre echo screening was amazing specially with my 9 year old girl who is very nervous at these appointments. She breezed right through her appointment and we both purchased frames and lenses which were very reasonable prices. All and all this is a great place for me and my family to take care of our eyes!! Would highly recommend Dr. Clay and his staff to everyone I know.

Oh heck you are always fantastic. I was goofy as could be and I bet David thought I was nuts. I kept calling him Clay. I couldn't help myself for some reason, I was all messed up and dizzy in my head; It must have a reaction to a sleeping med I tried the night before or something. Hey I am trying to proof read this and I just can hardly see anything. It is all blurred. I am really worried about this, as I can hardly see any more. David said I could just add a vision appointment to my next pressure exam in December. I guess that means I get to not see for the rest of the semester. How is that for a review. The reason I was having trouble was me, like I really didn't understand everything. (So I check not really for it.

Eye exam excellent. Thorough. Challenge in finding glasses. Told to check out the back wall. Wasn’t sure exactly which panels that were pertinent. Labeling would have helped. Rebecca was great. She was helping someone else and noticed I wasn’t sure what to do and she told me to start trying on different frames. I didn’t see frames that had magnetic sunglasses. Was told they come in from time to time but go out fast. Was finally helped to pick out frames but all were large. Asked if it were possible to order and was told I would get a call next week from Kat, when she gets back to work. By myself picked out the smallest frame I could find and requested to order glasses for that frame if not possible to order what I really wanted. Jury still out on resolving getting my glasses ordered. Seems to me if magnetic sunglasses for glasses are that popular that you would have more available selection. Also lack of smaller frames means that you only offer minimal choices. Customers?

When I arrived the Family Vision was very busy with just only one doctor(Dr. David Reber) that day. I was greeted by Rebecca and another staff member very graciously and professionally. Rebecca took me back to do some pretesting within a few minutes and then I was direct to a sitting area to wait for Dr. David Reber to do my eye exam. He came out after a little bit and greeted me very pleasantly and took me in his office to do my eye exam. Afterwards he explained everything to me very caringly and professional about my eyes. Then I was taken by another staff member to choose new frames who was very friendly and assisted me in picking my frames out. They have a fantastic selection of women frames to choose from. When I went back to pick up my frames she assisted me with them to make them fit snug and comfortable. The Family Vision staff are very friendly and do their jobs exceptional well.

Staff and service were great. However, selection of frames and price was not the best. After spending $1000 on a pair of glass that I am bot 100% satisfied with, I will not be returning for my glasses. This was a very good visit for me as I was considering having a "tune-up" on Lasik surgery done 10+ years ago and wanted to know if the risks outweighed the benefits at my 60+ years of age. Dr. Reber identified a condition in my eye health that would affect the surgery. He further identified what is probably the beginnings of macular degeneration that I had already suspected and had been taking eye vitamins to address. He provided professional guidance on tweaking my vitamin regimen and a more effective practice to monitor the condition.

My son and I have been customers for over 8 yrs, I quit buying my glasses there many years ago because your opticians did not know how to do their jobs ( I am an former optician) and were rude. My son comes in by himself for the first time and your opticians treated him like he had never been there before. Giving him poor pricing information, they said HE didn't show his insurance card. Two problems here - 1 - HE is the customer, YOU should have looked at his chart and consider that HE is paying YOU! Remember anything about customer service, whomever is running your front offices is more interested in having the customer cater to the seller, a formula that will never work, obviously some retraining might be in order here, but I doubt it! 2 - Blaming the customer is never a good move and I don't think management will ever get it! I bought Oakley glasses and I understand my prescription is strong and your lab couldn't put new lenses in my new frames. So, I took them to The Eye Site and a week later I had new lenses in my Oakley frames. So whatever lab your using I would think about firing them. Also, your office needs a new blood pressure machine. It took mine and it read 132/103. When you tell your patients "it's been doing that all day", and your patients don't have hypertension it might be time for a more accurate bp machine. I went to my doctors appointment after my eye exam and my bp @ his office was 118/64. A big difference from 132/103.

Even though I appreciate that you take medicaid patients it was ridiculous that we waited around 4 hours to see the doctor. My 4 yo grandson has disabilities which made it very difficult to maintain him for that long. It took a very long time for them to come in which delayed evaluations by the schools. When I picked up his glasses no one really assisted us just handed them to us. I asked for the band that we needed for his glasses to stay on and she knew nothing about it and so the girl we ordered for did not order the band that would fit him. You didn't have any in stock so I'm having to search elsewhere.

I've been coming to y'all for many years. The last few appointments I've had have been major disappointments. You make an appointment at 8:30 and the doctor doesn't feel like showing up until 10.Don't make an appt around lunchtime either because the doctor doesn't care about coming back on time! It is very rude.I am not the only person who has dealt with this either. It's very disappointing. I spend a lot of money with y'all, and an appointment that should take less than An hour takes up to 2 hours. I felt like some of my questions/concerns were not properly addressed. I told the doctor that I felt like the lines on the lights were worse with my glasses on and that my prescription should be checked and he did not check my prescription. This is partially my fault as I forgot about it until I had to drive at night last night. I believe that there is a definite issue with my glasses the line through the light seems to be much worse when I am wearing them. Also, I am still concerned about the continuting glare that I have and I am somewhat discouraged that no one there seems to have any ideas how to fix it or even seem to be very concerned about it.

Poor customer service when I first arrived. Never greeted and wasn't provided any information on insurance, except "we don't accept that card". Then had to wait well after the 8:30 scheduled appointment. I sat in the waiting room and other patients were called in before me, even when they arrived after me. My glasses were not fully explained and neither was an opportunity to purchase glasses, which is the reason I went in the office in the first place. I wanted to order and purchase glasses, but no one even offered any assistance and there wasn't that many people in the clinic.

When I last visited on 01/16 for a recheck, not only did I have to wait more than an hour past my appt time, but there was a man in the waiting area waiting for someone to get their exam completed who constantly was viewing and listening to videos on his cell phone with an audio level loud enough to be disturbing to those around him. The office staff said nothing about it and it continued until he was ready to leave. This was in addition to and conflicting with the background music playing over the office audio system.

I was misunderstood when I asked for the Brand of contacts that I asked for, and am stuck getting a trial pair of some that I don't want to use. I wish the Doctor would have Re-Visited me on what BRAND or KIND that I DO ACTUALLY WANT AND DO ACTUALLY INTEND to wear. More communication between the Dr. and I would have been better to clear the situation, and I would have had an overall great experience here.

Was not greeted upon arrival, stood and watched the girl read a packing slip from a box for several minutes after she looked up and said nothing to me. Then She put the slip down and as if I was bothering her by arriving 10 minutes before my appointment asked if she could help me. I checked in both my children and only had to wait a few minutes for their pre test. However, after that we waited a full hour while I watched a doctor wait on two people who walked in after us AND HAD appointments scheduled after ours. (I heard them say their appt time to the receptionist) Finally the doctor called us in and while I had no problems with the care my children received, the customer service continues to decline. I have been a patient of this facility since I was 15 years old with Dr.Harold. I am now 42 and completely floored by the fact that not only was the staff rude and uncaring, but by the fact that Dr. David offered no explaination or apology for wasting my time.

The Doctors & back of office help are fabulous. The two women helping pick out glasses are a very different story. I obviously put her out to dare ask what colors the frames come in. She clearly doesn't need to deal with the public. She stopped helping me in the middle of my question (how dare I ask) and went to help the other woman fitting glasses. She was one of the most incompetent & unprofessional people have ever heard speak. When my staff member came back to help me she was so disgruntled that I went with a frame I didn't even care for just to get it over with. I had to ask about lens options. I doubt I will reschedule or bring my kids back. Such a shame, Doctors are amazing!

My daughter had a 3:00 pm appointment and she did not get seen till after 5:00pm. When my wife asked the receptionist why it was taking so long to be seen she replied that she put some people in front of us because all they had was a follow up. I think they need to do a better job of scheduling. The doctor was great, excellent service by him.

Dr. Visit was great however the lady helping with new glasses was somewhat short and rude. She seemed to hurry us along as though we were wasting time. Upon walking into office no one greeted us and we were just given papers to fill out and asked for our name.

I always feel welcome. I pay attention to staff behavior, gestures, interactions with other patients, body language, etc., in any professional setting. Because of that, I tend to be overly critical, sometimes to the point of being too "picky". Other than one staff member chewing gum, the staff was very professional, courteous, friendly, and respectful. They are attentive to the needs of everyone walking in the door. Dr. David Reber was friendly, professional, courteous, and answered all of my questions. I will definitely recommend Family Visions Center to others. Thank you.
