Excellent experience. I felt zero discomfort! Jose was incredible in how he described every step of the process. No one’s ever been that patient-friendly and informative. And they work fast. The doctor was really great too and the woman at the front desk is always fantastic.

Wonderful experience as always. I have been a patient of Dr. Kalantari for atleast 15 years and her and her staff always provide the best service. One of her newest additions Dr. Babian is fantastic, I came in with tooth discomfort and he diagnosed the issue right away and referred me to a specialist where i was able to get it resolved that day!

AMAZING. Every single person in every capacity is stellar. I don’t know why anyone with teeth wouldn’t drop their current dentist and go to Famous Hollywood Dental Care. In addition to a marvelous dental practice, 6464 Sunset is a well looked after building with a Security Guard who is present and accountable. Dr. Kalantari has created a solid team!

Dr. Kalantari and her amazing team, Dr. Bong, Patty, Jose, and Anush are all amazing! They take extra steps to listen to you and help you get the dental health that you want. I have never had dental service where the dentist listens to me and then helps me achieve my goals for my teeth. They are honest people who have your health in mind. They are not a bargain dental facility, but you definitely will get the value of what you pay for. Highly recommend!

Dr Kalantari & team are the first dental practice that it’s a pleasure to go to. Everyone is very professional, caring & friendly. The dental chair has a massage feature which really relaxes you so it’s not stressful while having work done. Yesterday I was there for a cleaning & 5 employees came into the room to work on my mouth (x-rays, hygienist, photos, exam, consults). Their prices are comparable to other dentists.

All good with one exception. Your patient lounges are terribly uncomfortable. I wish you had those wonderful patient chairs that were like barber chairs. I complained about the seating to Drs Wenzlaff from the beginning. Now, my motor neuron problem has made lying in one of those things nearly unbearable.

Great experience, as always - Dr. Kalantari and the team do a wonderful job. The office space is comfortable, very clean, extra accommodating (sunglasses and massage chairs included!), and the service is exceptional. I would definitely recommend their team and will continue to go there for my dental care.

Dr Kalantari, Unfortunately, I did not have a good visit entirely. It seemed that no one was prepared for my visit. I spent a lot of time waiting in between cleaning, x-rays, and examination. I felt that my time wasn't of anyone's concern The hygienist did a good job cleaning my teeth. Everything after the cleaning was not what I expected. When I moved to Westwood, I attended regular dental visits there because it was convenient and they accepted my insurance. It wasn't that I did not want to attend your office, it made more sense for my needs. I'm considering returning to Westwood, even though its inconvenient because I felt that I was inundated with information as if I did not visit the dentist in years, when I stated that I was at the dentist getting my bridge redone, cleanings, and exams. It seemed that went on deaf ears. I wasn't trying to say they did a better job, but I was treated as if I hadn't been to a dentist office in years. No one asked for my dental records prior to my visit. I expected a better experience because my husband just had a very costly appointment, but when examined I was thrown because it seemed that I was an inconvenience. At one point I was made to feel bad because I hadn't been to a dentist since September when I was sheltering-in-place, working from home during this on-going pandemic. Being in doctor's offices increases the risk of contracting the virus, and that is true since I had to sign a waiver stating that prior to my visit on Monday. You stated that you would have liked to receive dental records. I went to a dentist in Westwood and you said 'wherever' and were dismissive to my visits which I spent a lot of time and money. I explained that, genetically, my teeth always need care. At the end of the appointment, I had to wait for my bib to be removed, had to hand the eye protectors to the assistant, and the chair wasn't even raised and lowered for me to get out easily. Even checking out was rather dismissive.

This is such a wonderful office. Everyone is really professional while still being warm and genuine. I never felt rushed or dismissed. The doctor and hygienists always answer all of my questions thoroughly. I just had two cavities filled and they made me feel very comfortable and taken care of.

Having to go to the doctor is no small matter for me, I am supremely happy with the choice I chose for a dentist. The team here at Hollywood Dental pay amazing attention to the small things and have never made me feel uncomfortable. You can tell they are on top of their game by feeling welcome and that you mater right away. I would say I am luck to have found a team like this, but luck has nothing to do with it because you're in the hands of people that know what they are doing and they do it well and beyond expectation. That anxiety doesn't abate simply because my rational brain tells me it's a "standard cleaning". Dr. Fariba and her staff and facilities are all extremely comforting, professional and warm. I still dread going to the dentist, but my dread dissipates significantly when in their care.

Why do I always get the feeling you need more money! I do not appreciate the fact that I walk in feeling great and then leave feeling depressed . If I have a spot on my tongue that looks like it could possibly be cancer ,thank you! —but don’t give me a reference now —give me two weeks and then I will call for a reference it has grown or changed It is also unpleasant having three people sticking stuff in my mouth and like a scene out of Twilght Zone all three saying “what is that that could be bad this might be bad that might be bad@ - it’s not a pleasant experience. Please don’t misunderstand I appreciate you looking out for me but it seems your paranoia about being sued is being transferred to me when it needs to be kept with you in silence. Everyone in the office is extremely kind and accommodating, and the office space itself offers a gorgeous view of the city. I'm so excited to share this office with everyone I know - they are so kind, professional, tech savvy (implementing all the latest technology which is super convenient for me), and display an all around competency with which I have not seen elsewhere. The team at Hollywood Famous Dental is always trying to find ways to make you more comfortable. You can simply allow yourself to be mesmerized by the amazing view of the Hollywood Hills, but this time I need to point out the extraordinary x-ray skills of Jose. Jose must be the fastest x-ray man in the west. He knows it can be uncomfortable for some having that cumbersome contraption in your mouth for a long time, so he promises to get it done faster than anyplace else, while still making certain you are happy and comfortable. It's actually quite entertaining just watching him in action. I would recommend him for a NASCAR pit crew.

Dr. Kalantari and staff are a real team. I feel like part of a family. I'm always made felt special and completely taken care of, my options explained with patience and clarity. I totally feel they are there for my health, and optimal well being. As far as dentists are concerned, it's the only way to go. I travel 240 miles, 4 hours round trip, for appointments. They have earned my trust. I cannot recommend Dr. Kalantari and staff highly enough.

Two suggestions for patients about to undergo Zoom treatment: 1. IN advance, explain how the light-beam thingie will sit either near the retractor or actually touch the retractor. In my first 15 minutes it made contact, but for the next 3, did not. I was confused and concerned that something may not be fitting quite right. 2. When giving patient a pen and paper to write note (since one can't talk), provide a space pen or something that will write upside down. I could not write a note because pen was not inking while held upside down, and I could not follow tech's instructions to writer lower down...because I couldn't see the paper unless it was held up high enough.

The woman at the front desk...Nina I think, was very welcoming from the get go. Very pleasant. The view from the chair was amazing, and my dental hygenist was great as well. The only thing I realized (but not until after I left) was that I don't believe I was ever checked for cavities, or if so the process wasn't explained, so I'm only assuming everything was ok from that standpoint. Otherwise visit was fantastic. Everyone was polite and very welcoming.

Even with being 10 mins late, your staff is wonderful and thorough. I was happy with the first appointment! My husband is coming with me - he hasn't been in YEARS and he's dental-phobic so I hope they are extra gentle!!! As for me, I was impressed.

I have been in denial of my dental needs and the root canal i needed opened my eyes, I had no pain at all on that tooth, now I know when they say you have decay, get it taken care of. Dr. Kalantari was honest and caring and I will take care of my teeth better with her as my guide and thank you Patty, Claudia and harris for being there to help.

Your overall care and concern from every staff member makes me feel relaxed and well looked after. Unlike my previous dentist, it feels like a personal relationship where your staff honestly care about my wellbeing, which is rare.
