I was very happy to spend about 2 hours in Legacy eyecare, the nurses and Dr.Kruger did their job very professionally, same the girl who helped me to choose 2 pairs of frames. They did lots of tests, answered all my questions in many details and in very pleasant manner. They also had a deal to buy one pair of transfer glasses and get another free that I gladly used. The total cost was not cheap but I wanted the best professional eye checking and prescription glasses I could have because I have weak eye vision and wear glasses all the time and I believe, I got what I needed. Now waiting for my eyeglasses, hope they will feel and look amazing! In future I will certainly choose Dr.Kruger for my eye checking. Thank you all.

I love Legacy Eyecare. I have moved away from Omaha, but still will drive to have them do my exam and make my glasses. I've never had a prescription be so accurate before Legacy eyecare. I love the new technology that they use, i feel it provides more information and is more accurate. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Never had any issues.

It's great to be known and addressed by name. It's even better to have a full explanation of what is being looked for in the results of the pretesting up to and including the exam with the Optometrist. I can't say enough that you are a person and not just a "sir" or a "Mr". I would highly recommend Legacy Eyecare to anyone in search of a provider of eye health care services. If my grandchildren were closer, and I could make a choice, Legacy Eyecare professionals would be my recommendation. They treat you with respect and individually.

I have been to a lot of eye care offices since I was in the 3rd grade, (I’m 27 now) and this was the best experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in the door I was treated with kindness, the friendly staff greeted me and checked me in early. I came in early to pick my glasses out prior to my appointment rather than after. I wanted to save time because I knew I was one of the last appointments. I wish I could remember the lady’s name that helped me, but she was very sweet and took the time of researching a pair of Silhouette glasses I’ve been trying to find. During my actual exam I met Dr. Brewer, you can tell he loves his job. Everyone knows the routine with the goofy machines we put our faces in, but this time I got to see what it all meant. He showed me the images of what the machines took. Not only was it an easy experience but it was a very informative one too. It’s nice to have people that genuinely care and not feel like you’re just a number. After my appointment was over a gentleman with a beard helped me get my glasses ordered. He was very helpful as well. I’m talkative person by nature so it was nice having him engage in conversation when you have to do the least favorite part, paying. All in all, Legacy Eyecare has me sold, I won’t be going anywhere else. You guys have a great team, thanks for the great experience!

I moved to Omaha in 2004 and went to another location. They did not meet my needs. Went to Legacy Eyecare and was so impressed with all the test they run and Dr Brewer is the best. He explains everything in detail and he has a great professional relationship with his patients. And the team that helps with picking glasses is the best. You think after that you are done, but when your glasses arrive, you go and pick them up and another great team assist you. The best place ever.

He frequently mentions research and I know he keeps up to date on the latest. And even though my kids aren’t his patients (yet,) he talks to me about screen time and protecting my kids’ eyes too. Dr. Brewer and staff are excellent! I made the mistake of going to another optometrist for my annual exam and ended up coming back to Legacy Eyecare for a second opinion when I couldn't see well with the prescription I received. The technology available at Legacy Eyecare to make sure the exam is correct and thorough, coupled with the time given to each patient, is truly the difference. I have been wearing glasses since I was 6 years old. Over the past 20 some years I have had my fair share of exams and working with different optometrists. The level of technology far surpassed your run-of-the-mill chain eye office. And the quality was amazing (no dreaded puff of air in your eye or dilation required)! Dr. Brewer was thorough and I left confident with the information he provided me after the exam. Next, was my second least favorite part of the corrective lenses world, finding my new pair of glasses. I actually had my very own dedicated team member who helped me shop for glasses! She truly made it a personalized experience and helped me find the PERFECT pair of glasses in 15 minutes. In the past I've always left the eye doctor with buyer's remorse and not sure I picked the right pair. Not this time! I left with confidence that I picked THE pair for me. Honestly, I not only left feeling great about the entire experience but I also left feeling confident about myself. As a new mom who is lacking in the confidence area, this is way more than I could have asked for. Seriously, your entire team is PHENOMINAL and I have already told 10 of my closest friends and family members about your office. Keep it up and thank you!!! :)

With it being my first time at Legacy Eyecare I thought it was going to be like any other Pearl Vision like optometrist business out there. Was I ever wrong. From having a nice lounge area with coffee, cookies, and plenty of activities to keep my young girls occupied. The exam was like any other exam that I had. It was by far more thorough with what seems to be the latest technologies which made it more informative than all the other Pearl Vision like places out there. My exam technician/stylist and doctor was absolutely the best I've ever seen at their craft. It's worth going here for the experience alone. My stylist was very knowledgeable about my options and visually explained my choices as to what was financially the best option. You can tell the people that work here love what they do and are passionate about their profession. Weirdly enough I can't wait to go back again.

During my exam, everything was explained to me in detail and it wasn't rushed. Staff seems extremely polite, helpful and perhaps the most detailed eye exam I've had/had explained to me. Dr. Brewer was thorough and did not waste time. Zerlina was great and helped pick a great pair of glasses for me - using my input and providing candid/kind feedback. Only comment is I'm a little sticker shocked by prices. I'm fairly new to Omaha and Legacy was better priced than where I went last year in Omaha. However, I'm familiar with cheaper options that don't seem to be offered here. Either way I plan to return. Service, options, and personnel are great.

I met with Dr. Kruger for the first-week time and I found her friendly, and listened carefully to any inquiries I had. Their tests seem thorough, and she sent me home with several pairs of trial contacts so that I could experiment with daily contacts, as I currently use two-week contacts. I have been a long time patient of Dr. Jackson's, so I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of transition with new doctor.

I love the staff at Legacy! They are always so friendly and caring whether it be over the phone or in the office. Very courteous and polite. Dr. Brewer does a great and thorough exam and explains his findings and what he wants/doesn't want to see for eye health. The optical specialists have always been very helpful in asking what I want for frames and then helping me find the perfect pair instead of pressuring me with a certain pair, or making me look through racks of frames on my own. They are very honest about what looks/fits well and what doesn't. I've always been very pleased. I look forward to going to Legacy Eyecare every year for my routine exam!

I came in without an appt. I was concerned about some flashing in my right eye. They quickly got me in with Dr. Kruger for an exam that determined that I did not have a detached retina. I am very happy with the way I was treated.

I really could not say anything to improve Legacy. The doctor was great, receptionists great, assistants great. I did not get a chance to look at glasses, but I will on my next visit and cannot wait. There are so many choices and styles. I am very excited to get a new pair of glasses. I also really liked the photo procedure used to get a better read on my eye. It was more comfortable than the traditional method of using the eye drops. Overall, excellent experience!

Everyone is great. I love the staff, and Dr. Jackson! They go above and beyond and have been very helpful. My one complaint is that they charge $35 for a dilation service, and to have the one done that is covered by my insurance it has to be done on only one day which happens to be the day my eye dr. is not there.

My daughter and I recently went to Legacy Eyecare for the first time - we both received extremely thorough, modern (technology) exams. Dr. Jackson was very honest in explaining our vision correction options (my daughter's correction was completely optional)and Sarah was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgable of the technology and exam process. We both opted to purchase glasses and were pleased to see that Legacy has the most current, stylish options. The retail section is a little "high-end" so if you're bargain hunting, you're better off elsewhere. But if your insurance is good and you are willing to pay a little bit for the best quality frames, you're at the right place.

Something to always be aware of is the price point of frames and lenses. There are not many low price point options but if you want to fit frames for all of your customers that get eye check ups I think it is important to have those available and make those know to the customer. When I wasn't working I needed that option and others probably do as well.

As a long-time patient (24 years) of Dr. Jackson I'm extremely dissatisfied with the 300% increase in the cost of the exam fees in the last 20 months. My previous exam included the same services and was $125, this year it was $375. I was given a private pay "discount" of $75, which still makes the exam $300, nearly triple the cost of 8 other offices I called after finding out about this the hard way. Due to changes in insurance, I have had exams elsewhere and had comparable service and quality of care at much lower rates. I only saw Dr. Jackson for a few minutes at the end of the exam, the rest of the time the exam was conducted by machines and an opthamologic tech. This office does not provide anything extraordinary to justify their pricing schedule and short-term inflation of such. Although I prefer to stick with a provider whom I know and trust, I'm afraid that I will no longer be a patient in this office due to the over-inflated cost of a standard service.

Being seen in a timely matter would be appreciated when patients are trying to get the appointment done over a lunch break. Explanation of what you are paying for would also be appreciated. Technician and doctor were very nice and helpful and front desk staff was very nice. Being there for an hour and 40 minutes is a little ridiculous when you are told over the phone that if you are more than 5 minutes late for your appointment you will have to re-schedule. Not very happy with the overall experience of this appointment.

The staff Zernina was absolutely rude and disrespectful several times during the visit Such staff with arrogance and attitude should not be allowed to interact with customers like me who expect a courteous encounter. After having a wonderful visit with Dr Kruger.. Meeting with Zernina ( sp?) was not only frustrating but an utter disappointment. At one point I felt like leaving and never coming back but felt others should not bear the consequence of a single person's doing. I can provide details to why I felt so insulted if someone calls me back. It was great meeting Dr. Kruger and she provided excellent care. All physicians are great! The other staff on reception ( Megan) was good too. I have recommended your services to others in the past but will no be able to wish encounter with Zernina on anyone. Thanks! Dr. Bajpai

The doctor really didn't give much information ably my condition, treatment etc... He breezed through it and gave me a script and pushed me out the door. Poor bedside manner. Patients Aren't As educated with eye conditions as doctors are and taking the time to explain things and see the real "question behind the question" is a necessary skill in healthcare. Office staff and receptionists were great and got me in to see the co doctor promptly. Thank you for that!

I am a little disappointed that I wasn't given an opportunity to decline the optimal screener for the extra fee. I didn't know that wasn't included in the cost of my co-pay before I settled my bill. The other thing that concerns me is the amount of times the address has changed. I have followed Legacy Eye care, Dr. Jackson predominately, since he was off of 144th and F Street. He has moved to at least 4 different places during my tenure with him.

I loved my visit here! The new office is gorgeous and it was great to see familiar faces in the staff. Glasses are a sore point for me because my eye sight is so bad but they took their time with me in selecting one that was both functional (with the weight of the lenses) and looked great on me. At the end of my exam of course comes time to purchase contacts...Zerlina told me that my insurance only covered $50 and that was it. I then told her my insurance should cover $150 of my contacts so she had to go back and call them to verify this. I don't really appreciate being inconvenienced by having to sit and wait for an unprepared "optical stylist" to verify what my insurance covers... I don't know if the miscommunication came from my insurance not just coming out and telling her EVERYTHING that is covered or if she just didn't ask relying on my insurance to tell her but the fact of the matter is she was not prepared for my visit if she still insists in arguing with me about it. To make a long story short and may billing errors late I then paid $174.96 after an $80 credit to my account because I was over charged in December to then receive a bill a month later for an additional $87.84. When I call to find out why I owe more Zerlina told me she made a billing error...so I am suppose to pay for some ones billing misstate? This time last year I was over charged $40 and then in December I was over charged for my sons visit by $80! WHAT IS GOING ON WITH YOUR BILLING DEPARTMENT!!! Zerlina told me the bill I paid was an estimate...well no one told me it was an estimate nor on the bill itself does it say that this is an estimate and then she proceeded to compare it to a physician doctor bill...which just makes me laugh because I don't even know of an doctors office that sits down with you before you leave the clinic to go over your bill...they just submit it to your insurance and then mail you a bill so you cant even compare the 2. I did not receive an estimate I received a total bill that and am now being told its was an estimate...REALLY! How would you fell if you went into a car pair shop and was told it would cost you $200 to replace your brakes and then when it came time to pay they say its $300 and...ooohh it was just an estimate! You would be very upset as well. Even the bill I have now says in one column "fee Amount" 200, 35, 80, and then in the other column it says "responsible party amount" 50, 35, 80, so the new bill is still incorrect nor does it tell me how much my insurance covered so I don't even know how she even came to $87.84. Why should I be responsible for someone else's mistake? Why cant this place/Zierlina take accountability for their actions? And why should I bring my so back in in December and purchase the other half of prescription when you guys cant seem to get your act together! You say you want me to vote for you to be "Omaha's Best".....well the prove you can be the best and take accountability for your mistakes and train your employees better!

The staff was awesome from the greeting at the door to checking me out at the end. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Jackson did a great job of explaining everything to me.

Dr. Brewer is amazing! He's extremely intelligent and so very helpful in eye health and eye care. I'd recommend Legacy for any vision needs for adult or youth as they did a great job with my 6yr old son as well!

I have already talked to the receptionist about this, but we received an automated reminder to schedule our annual exam on SATURDAY, JULY 4TH AT 8:00 AM. I would suggest that no calls be made on holidays, and Saturday after noon :).

Dr. Kruger was wonderful with my three girls. My youngest just turned six and was nervous about her appointment. When she was done she talked the whole way home about what all she did during the exam and the nice staff. Thank you!

These days, when it comes to healthcare provider, it is rare to experience the level of treatment I got at legacy. Everyone was pleasant - like they were actually happy you were there. The exam was incredibly thorough. I never felt rushed. Dr Brewer answered all of my questions and explained more to me about my eye health than I had ever heard! I felt a little pressure to purchase glasses or sunglasses. I wear contacts and mentioned to the doctor that I only wear my glasses when I take out my contacts (hardly ever), so the ones i purchased 2 years ago were good - I just needed contacts, but then I was asked by another person about glasses and updating what I have and whether or not I had good sunglasses. Felt like they weren't talking and/or were pressuring me to buy something. Not bad - just felt akward.

The staff from start through finish were all excellent. They took great care of me every step of the way, it felt like an all inclusive experience. The technology is hands down the best I've experienced, and the staff were all very involved in helping me find my new frames. I will definitely recommend to others.
