I came in on a Saturday morning as a walk in because I got a piece of metal in my eye at work. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Dang was great. I was in and out of the office within an hour. Dr. Dang was quick to get the metal out of my eye and answered all the questions I had. Staff made sure to give me all paperwork possible because it was a workplace incident. Coming from out of town I was worried about finding an eye doctor that would be able to take care of my eye, and was very relieved to be taken care of so well and so efficiently.

I thought the doctor I saw last year was good. This doctor blew her out of the water, the contacts that I got were exactly what my eyes needed. Unfortunately I chose to go with regular glasses but these guys will do whatever they can to help you see again.!

Although an insurance-recommended place, this place insists on detailed retina scans, which is not mandatory for normal eye check-ups. They don't tell you about these upfront and still try to continue with the appointment. They never allow a normal eye inspection and prescription glasses without this uncovered service. A place to avoid, if you are going for a routine eye check-up. The worst part is knowing this after spending an hour waiting in the office to be called by a doctor.

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Dworsky for 20 years and it was good to see him again and have him examine our eyes. He is a great guy and has taken good care of our eye, as per usual. We have always been pleased with his team as well. They are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about what they do. Can't ask for more, I think.

Very accommodating! I wish I remembered names but I had gotten off of work early which never happens and so I decided to make an appointment, only I made it for the wrong day. The manager was very understanding of my situation and worked me in anyways at the end of their day. I am very appreciative of the effort she gave to still see me. The doctor was very thorough, nice and professional. Right afterwards they ran me next door to vision works with 10 minutes to closing and the ladies there were amazing as well, they made me feel welcome even though I know they probably wanted to go home. Would recommend coming here for sure

I was at this office in 2022 in Lakeline mall and had such a good experience that I took time to find them even though they have relocated (not too far, same area) and so I wasn't disappointed when I went there year later. So far it has been great and the staff is very friendly. VP

I was very happy with the doctor, as she explained everything very clearly, and I didn't feel like she was rushing me at all. My only real complaint is I marked on my form that I didn't want the additional $39 test unless it was covered by my insurance, and I also told that to the woman at the front when I handed back my paperwork. She then informed me my ins. was not covering it, but I received, and had to pay for, the test anyway. It was not pointed out to me before being given the test that it was the $39 one. I was embarrassed by it and paid before I left, but it really did leave a bad taste in my mouth.

You have great service. I like it. After my eye exam I went to VisionWorks next door and ofdered new glasses and paid over $200.00 for them. That was August 2, and I have not gotten them yet! I have gone in there once and have called twice, and they say they will trace them and call me back. But they never call back. This is not your problem, but if you can influence them somehow, I would sincerely appreciate it.

I was able to get a last minute appointment which was great and the doctor was very nice and took time to answer my questions. My complaint is that I spoke with the staff on the phone beforehand about expected costs and was told with my insurance I would be paying just $10 for my visit. However, when it was time to check out I was charged $49. I’m then told that I was charged an additional $39 because they took pictures of my eyes. My problem is that I was not informed of this additional cost beforehand and as far as I knew I was just receiving the what was included in the exam that I scheduled. The amount is not large but it seems unethical to provide a service without properly educating the customer of associated costs ahead of time.

You have an appointment. You confirm your appointment. You get a phone call that goes to your spam, 45 minutes before your scheduled appointment. You show up to your appointment to be told that the Dr. is not there and would like to reschedule on a Friday. Sounds like someone wanted to have a 3 day weekend but who knows... The proper courtesy is to give the client the same respect as the office does. 24 hours notice before hand so that someone does not drive 33 miles into town to be told this information. Very Disappointing

I had a medical procedure that required I be sedated. When I was recovering I noticed that my left eye was really bothering me. 8 hours later it was getting worse not better. I called the surgery center and they said, it’s common for patients to accidentally rub their eyes when they’re waking up and get an abrasion on their cornea. They told me to visit an eye doctor. I called Master Eye in Lakeline and was able to get an appointment right away. I saw Dr. Meera Sampat and she was so friendly and extremely educated. She checked my eye out and said luckily it wasn’t an abrasion but really bad dry eye probably from rubbing during waking up. She told me to go get very specific things at the local drug store and after following her instructions, 24 hours later I feel so much better! It was a easy and helpful experience all around. I would definitely go back and see Dr. Sampat she was wonderful!

Found Dr. Matthews unfriendly and unprofessional. He rushed through my exam and acted annoyed when I had trouble with seeing the numbers. Did not ask me any questions and did not feel comfortable talking to him. I thought my eyes have changed more since last year, but results resulted only a change in one eye. My Mom was waiting for me and I was out in a couple of minutes after her. It was the end of the day and he acted like he could not wait to get me out there. I am scheduling another appointment for this reason.

Mr. Matthews did not catch that I was Diabetes 2, and his staff had to point it out at check out time, so that my results could be sent to my Doctor. When getting glasses they pointed out he had made a mistake on one of the numbers. Will continue to come here, but will ask for a different Dr. He answered my questions during exam.

Disappointed with the front desk employee, she had very rude approached and the way she talked to clients/ patients. First time with our family encountered this kind of front desk employee for so many years being a clients/patients in this clinic. The eye doctor was not decently dressed, just worn loose stretchable long-sleeved and a jogger, not even wearing a white coat as an MD seeing/examining patients. I feel like he was just an ordinary person or also a client/patient and also roughed in handling eye equipment. Overall feels not satisfied, no TLC to clients/ patients.

The basic eye exam for glasses was fine. But the fact that I see a different doctor each time I go is really bothersome. You need to do a better job of testing and keeping records for other things, such as glaucoma. One doctor I saw also said he'd call me back once he located by records, and after about two weeks nothing yet. I do admit, however, that it's difficult to find a doctor of any kind that stays put and is accessible.

I had a overall bad experience with this facility. First of all I had to wait outside the shop with my kids while my wife was inside. Secondly they did something not covered by insurance for me and my wife. We knew only while billing. Thirdly the doctor consolation and speech was so fast so that we did not realize what was going on and did not understand what the doctor was saying as he was speaking very fast.

However... waiting until the day prior to appt to inform need of PCP referral is unacceptable it made my sons appt (after major car accident) last longer than 3 hours which caused him major pain and discomfort. I have done insurance for over 20 years as a business owner this is not appropriate. Should verify benefits at least 48 hours in advance. We made our appt a week out. There is no excuse.

My appointment went fine. The doctor was very thorough. The associates are good but the only thing that I don't like is simply taking me to a machine to do a test without telling me what it is for and the cost associated with it. I had to ask what the test was for and if there was an additional cost before I was told it was.

It was easy and fast! Making the appointment online was easy. Everyone in the office and in the store were super nice and listened to my questions and concerns. They went over using insurance VS not, to find the best price for me. I liked getting the link in my email to see where my order was. All health and safety precautions were taken.

When I sent my two kids in to get their exams by themselves, I was never notified that they would be given the optical imagery exam, which is an added $40 charge. Before COVID, there was a form to fill out with a checkbox indicating whether or not you wanted this optional service. No such form this time. The staff never asked. Instead they performed the optional exam on my kids without parent consent resulting in me having to pay $80 on top of my copay. In the future parents need to be informed and asked for consent beforehand. Please. Otherwise the rest of the visit and general exam was positive, no complaints there.

We will not return. After waiting for over 20 minutes to even be checked in, the receptionist finally came out to take our temps and was less than friendly. After another 15 minutes. She came back out and said there was an emergency and she had no idea how much longer we would be waiting. I asked if we should reschedule or find another doctor. Her smart retort was “I can’t tell you what to do”. Zero bedside manner or even kindness for that matter. We drove over 30 minutes one way to get there and wasted an entire afternoon without being seen. Thankfully, we have an appointment with another provider who was more than happy to see us and has been more kind by phone in the last 3 days than we have ever received from the staff at your office in all the years we have been there, outside of Dr. Dworsky who has always been wonderful. You’ve lost two customers permanently.

The person that did our pre screening really seemed like she didn't want to be there. Then when my daughter was not tall enough to reach the machines they recommended that she stand on a swivel chair. I immediately said not that is not safe. Her retort was, "It's OK I am going to hold it." I proceeded to find a chair that was stationary for my daughter to get on. If you office is not equipped to service children please say so. This was not safe at all.

When I arrived, no one had my appointment scheduled. They made me feel as I made the mistake. Thankfully, they were able to see me. They provided me paperwork to fill out, but didn't explain it thoroughly. I definitely should have asked more questions, but I felt rushed and frustrated from the beginning since they didn't even have my appointment scheduled and acted as if I had inconvenienced them. I thought I was signing to cover a $19 part of the exam my insurance didn't cover, but in the end it was $39. My insurance pays for me exam and all I have to pay is a $10 copay. But this supposedly exam the doctor recommends (she didn't even explain it, nor did the assistant) is for the doctor to look at the back of the eye. I've had the procedure at other places in town and was never charged $39 for it. They just shove the paperwork in your face and don't explain anything. Instead of trying to work within a customer's insurance parameters, I feel they try to get something extra. I wouldn't recommend this place. But if someone did go there, I highly recommend they take time to fully read what they give you to sign and ask as many questions as you can. Because they won't explain anything until it's too late.

The exam experience was really pretty good. The staff was nice and the doctor was knowledgeable. But I have a condition that means I may develop glaucoma. Last year I went to a different location to take a test for the condition. During this year's appointment, I found out that the test results were never sent to this location--and no one bothered to follow up. I have been a patient here for many years, probably 10 plus. The doctor asked me if I had followed up, and seemed to imply that I may not have taken the test at all. Isn't follow up the doctor's job? Shouldn't she be concerned enough about her patients to follow up on test results? By the end of the visit, staff had located the results and the doctor apologized. But I must admit that I no longer have much confidence in the staff.

The administration is terrible and uninformed. The doctor's are good. Watch out if you are getting contact lenses they refuse to give you your prescription until 2 weeks after you come back for an inconvenient 2nd appointment to tell them you like the lenses. I arrived with my daughter for her eye exam. After completing all necessary paperwork, my daughter was taken back for testing for her eyeglass exam. She was wearing her contacts when we arrived because her glasses are broken. They performed her eye exam with her contacts in. The doctor is the one who discovered this and sent her back out to redo the test. Once this was redone the front desk staff were whispering and snickering about their incompetence. When it came time to check out I knew I had a $10 copay and I was told I owed $49.95. I questioned why so much and I was told the pictures they took of my daughter's eye takes the place of dilating the eye. This service is charged to the patient because insurance will not cover a service that is not medically necessary. I should be given an option to use the picture service vs eye dilation. I refuse to pay for a service I can not agree nor disagree to. I do not appreciate being told the charge is office policy and that I was informed because it was on one of the forms. The same form which I had checked option "no". When I pointed this out, they told me that was for another separate charge. I was not given an option to decline the eye picture service that is not medically necessary. This is terrible customer service and deceitful. I will not be back. You should not make your patients pay for a service that is not covered by their insurance and is not medically necessary. Shame on Master Eye Associates!
